  • He's not actually delivering those tanks of gas- theyre just the fuel tanks needed for the truck to haul it's own fuel round.

  • Who wants to ask him to perform a 3-point turn?

  • if my moved to australia when he was offered a job he would be driving them

  • hey lets all drive like that

  • try taking a 90 degree turn with this

  • So if it isn't allowed in the USA it shouldn't be allowed anywhere eh?

  • @MrPoupard Lol. the madhatter0110 sounds like a pompas ass new endlander. he always nows best. way to unsafe he says. we do have some... what do i call them.... people... or are they people.... over here that are first class city slickers. like grandpa and his grandpa grew up in the city before him. and they have no idea which way is up any more.

  • @shaggyfeller A third grader can spell better than you. I am POMPOUS and do KNOW best and you don't even know the difference between to and too. Then again I shouldn't expect anything else from you because after all Australia was once a prison colony.

  • @madhatter0110 ok heres to and too,and two, and 2? your from new jersey aint you? you sound like a cocksucker, so you must be from news jersey.you voted for osama or i mean obama, didnt ya? fuck off you new endlanders are trash.

  • @shaggyfeller Yet you still prove YOUR grammar is poorer than that of a third grader. YOU'RE in need of schooling. Step away from the computer and get back to school.

  • @MrPoupard Absolutely right. The USA tells the rest of the world how things are going to be since we're the only ones who know what's best.

  • My dream is to see one of these up close, congratulations on video...

  • most of them use a 18, or 20 speed gear box, there very easy to drive , most of the time the trailers will follow you just have to check for people who want to over take you, no you dont have to peep your horn for that reason its just a let the driver know you are thanking him for letting them over take safely

  • I wanna ride in one of those.

  • fuckin classic!!!!!

  • How many Kilometers is this Road long?

  • Would that be allowed in the us or Canada?

  • @MrPoupard This isn't allowed in the US or Canada and shouldn't be anywhere. Way too unsafe.

  • @madhatter0110 qq fag

  • @madhatter0110 Yeah a real hazard on those deserted, flat, straight highways. They are banned in the city, they are only allowed to be used in remote areas.

  • @gnarkillkicksass thx for clearing that up in a nice maner

  • @madhatter0110 - Way too unsafe for drivers in U.S. or Canada. No problem for Australians.

  • good! i dont saw seen in japan

  • Got brakes ??

  • Jesus, how is he supposed to stop that thing at those speeds!?

  • is that a T900

  • @brownedoggg yeh t908 whatta beast!

  • I never heard about that rule.

  • I heard a long time ago that you are supposed to honk the horn if u meet a road train so they wont fall asleep (lol) out on those roads. Is this true?

  • So tempted to do this for a few months instead of travelling or something haha.

  • omg.I always wanted 2 drive one of this:x

  • That truck has arownd 36 gears

  • Damn this shit is crazy!!! and here I was thinking that I was a big shot because I just got my California Class A permit today and will be driving a 53 footer which is the biggest California allows...I feel puny now lol..

  • @gabed96 as you should! lol

  • Good driving!!

  • Flipping lucky aussies.

If I EVER become a billionaire I would import all the aussie road trains I can to my private island.

  • I typed in train on road and this is what came up.... A truck on a road LOL.

  • Looks to me like that guy is hauling around 4 Atomic Bombs...;)

  • So..... How much does tire changes on this thing cost?

  • Did the driver stop because he thought you were stalking him?

  • get that turbo screaming boi

  • imagine passing this on the high way, id shit my pants

  • Do these trucks (trains) come with A/C?

  • @7477238 yeah they do have a/c any truck comes with a/c it gets bloody hot out iin the dessert

  • Great video - 5stars !!! Fantastic. Greetings from Czech Republic.

  • wow!

  • They even sound like trains as they go past, with the whole clackety-clack.

  • wow australia you guys are crazy to haul that I have alot of respect for you truckers

  • it's like that game Snake...

  • It sounds like a train to!

  • Very good!

    Brazilians also assist Trucks

    youtube.com/watch?v=9eV4nGwbXGg

  • mad max would've killed for thatmuch guzzlene

  • most interstate truck drivers I know make good money , one friend of mine makes around 3000 dollars a week , but thats a shit load of driving. my uncle drives a large kenworth carting cream in a huge tanker he makes a bloody fortune.

  • How did it ever make a 90 degree turn?

  • so as i said like 9 months ago about these road trains hitting Aboriginals .. the guys came into work again and told me this is true that some trucks dont stop for abariginals but merly run them over ..and dont even call them in to local local authorities he said he was in a truck when this happened anyone heard of this too?

  • @YOEATURBALLZ Its true, some local authorities in outback towns reccomend no one stop for aboriginals. They tell you to run them down (only if you need too, of course you can swerve to avoid them) then call it in. It is sad but true.

  • @YOEATURBALLZ Youre not supposed to stop for them because most of the time they want to rob you.

  • good video, how money earn lorry driver in australia ?

  • no idea!

  • @alainwalter Full time 24/5 = AU$90,000/yr

  • @005339 sometimes more

  • @Typ33k it depends on where u work and who u work for im looking at a job payin over $2000 aus a week. so it just depends

  • @Typ33k Don't know about lorry driver but truck driver's get paid decent if your good enough to be handed one of these

  • Which kind of driving license you need for road train? Just wanted to ask.

  • @Mafia2DLC An Australian MC (multi combination license)

  • @leapoffaith20 So I can't drive that with my finnish CE combination card. Must move to Australia then.

  • good video i love it!!

  • @behn7 any truck driver that thinks steep grades and windy roads are a big deal hasnt done much driving. If you think you deserve special credit for that then you had better stay in canada or the u.s and continue patting your self on the back!

  • You know what's funny? It takes him almost all the gas he's hauling to actually drive that huge ass truck

  • nice kenworth

  • i am not washing that!!! !!!:P

  • Beautiful.

  • really good one mate...

  • It's more nimble than i thought.

  • Fantastic video.

    Greetings from Canada. :)

  • @behn7 your not in the rockies with a road train. there is more to the world than america champ.

  • are these roadtrains just to bulk haul a to b.or do you do multidrop with them ?//

  • RED-NOSE is for an Aussie charity research fundraiser 25th July each year, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, (SIDS) Est 1988 (NOT any thing to do with fat bloke, red suit, and reindeers)

  • @behn, Get a clue, they have an XCLNT safety record, going back 3+ decades ! (WHY POST DUMB COMMENTS WITHOUT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF A SUBJECT) come here for a holiday and sprout off, you'll be shown some of our other type of hospitality. you just stick to driving your old LTL with 350hp up & down the Rockies and leave the real operating to the MEN !!

  • Quebec Canada haul two 53 foot trailers but don't carry much weight more for bulky loads

  • I bet they make alot of money for doing just that with type of load anyway

  • nice but she's no shevy

  • one day i would go to Aussie just to drive a road train

  • hmm, canadians telling the ausies that there roadtrains are dangerous and would be fucked in the rockies!! haha, mate, do just even a little bit of research, maybe watch another roadtrain vid on here and see the environment that these rigs work in, and have been since the 80's. 50 degree plus heat, bull dust, cattle roads...even narrow windy ones, river crossings in the wet season. these boys get through anything.

  • Not built for Canada, built for Aussiland. So, don't even compare, cuz this system works great, always has always will.

  • Comment removed

  • hehehe, good point. But actually they do this with everything from Fuel to Farm Animals. So no it's not greed, it's practicality in an enormous country!

  • @bluesfreak007

Everybody is aware about corporate greed in todays business world, but road trains are a part of australian roads for a long time now.

  • What do you care for. All you POS libs are on welfare and eating your free Gov cheese anyway. The Aussies have had road trains for over 40 years. That's the way they do it down under. If you ever got a job you would realize that. Now go jerk off to your O Sambo posters maggot. LOL!

  • its got a red nose

  • just as many cummins as cat's. coupl've new EGR ISX on road train spec too.

  • Not in Western Australia & NT. Caterpillar outnumber Cummins 10:1. But all that will change now Cat has pulled out of truck engines.

  • the truck company on the video would be 50-50 cat vs cummins and 50-50 mack vs kenworth. worked on them in Alice Springs for a few months. C16 cats seem to have soft heads and fuel system bypasses injector pressure when the ambient temp gets above 45C. Cummins just use oil which scares owners.

  • True, the C16s are basically a bored out C15, so the block is weaker and they are not as good as a C15 engine. But in the north west of WA Cat is King (C15s).

  • cool video,i wish i could come down there to see the road trians in person.

  • Wow! I'm suprised no one's run over when they make turns!

  • @ned987 true mate you learn pretty quick to always give a road train plenty of room. they are excellent drivers champ never had a problem with them. my dad used to drive them in the 70's

  • CUMMINS POWER!

  • I think it could be a CAT too!?!?!

  • actually it's a CAT C15. Cummins don't have a good reputation up here because they grenade with the weight and the heat.

You can see the CAT sticker at 0:33 on the fender.

  • 2 xxxx.. Wrong country bud, we have mud-gaurds remember !

  • Wow! Four semi trailers! Only in Australia!

  • i heard these guys bowl ova tha abbos that try wave them down instead of stopping they run them mofos over..

  • nah they bowl you ova.......y u gotta be so rascist foa

  • dude not being racist just stateing facts heard it from a truck driver who was over their saw it with his own eyes,,, im not racist im jewish..

  • Are you fucking kidding? Being Jewish automatically means you cannot be racist? You're fucking dreaming, need I even mention Palestinian genocide?

  • @YOEATURBALLZ pull your head in fool

  • That man is king of the road, no doubt

  • I'm very fascinated with these vehicles!

  • Cat Power !

  • nice 904 x)

  • holy, they should make these puppies legal in canada!

  • the only reason they are legal in australia is because the roads in the australian outback are straight enough and long enough to have them. the roads in canada aren't like that and it would cause all sorts of trouble in canada to have them

  • too long............... for me

  • i am extremely thanful to you for putting this video here. i was telling me about the road trains and he was so excited to see it. this was the first video i found on yt. he loved it so do i. here in india, we dont have roadtrains and thats why its very exciting thing to know...thanks a lot....

  • Magnificent!

  • hehe "CRAP WERE OUT OF GAS" *looks in side mirror* " oh never mind"

  • These things are awsome i saw one parked up nth of pt augusta...i wanted to stop and take a photo..

  • To hell with Ice Road Truckers...Discovery Channel needs to make: "Road Train Truckers" !!! I pull two 40 footers every day, and it takes skill

  • yeah, its only coz them fuckers are on ice its more "dramatic" ooooOoooo, its BS really

  • Agreed! Ive seen vids of truckers with 3-4 trailers back them up into a tiny space with precision, that takes skill.

  • Fucking Awesome.. try to pull that badboy up in a hurry....

  • man i love the sound of the turbo squeeking!!

  • 134.5 ton the fuel tankers do look good

  • probably a brand new truck.

  • great video - 5 stars!

  • Thanks, that was this july, nice road train indeed.

  • @Duelkenvideo 5 big stars :D
