Is there such a thing like 100% silver or gold, because .999 or .9999 is not 100%, right? Why do people only sell .999 or .9999 silver and gold and not 100%. Please, answer this question because, I've been wondering this for quite some time.
@Frackingcyclon Great Question! our mint mark is a "QSB" to the left of the Indian's head just under his feathers. You can see a picture of it on the website under the 1-troy oz Buffalo/Indian head .999 fine Silver Bullion Rounds listing. Have a good one!
make silver the 100 trillion dollar Zimbabwe logos on it. you can have that stupid pile of rocks on one side and a water buffalo on the other with 100 trillion written around the outside
I agree with those say that all costs need to be disclosed up front WITH the confirmation not afterward. Leaving a bad taste in your customers' mouth doesn't encourage repeat business or word of mouth. Most reputable dealers do it the right way, why wouldn't you?
@JJTechHelp they are called QualitySilverBullion not Qualityvideomaking..the video is not bad as long as their product is good as they say it is; that 's all that matters to me.
I recently made an order of the 1/2 oz walking liberties...I saw that special handling fee I did not read the fine print either when I bought some gold from a dealer they did the same to me when I purchased with a credit card.
Your video is fine & your minting process is OK with me. I have purchased some Buffalo Indian head Rounds from a bullion dealer here in Australia & I love them.
The Indian head is funky & he looks HOT. Thank you for making those great silver rounds. I will be getting more :)
It would be nice if this mint would not sucker investors into buying "well priced" silver bullion just to add a "special handling fee" to the total after you have specified your shipping address and confirmed the total with the shipping included. NOT COOL!
@nlucctw2 I'm sorry you feel we are trying to "sucker investors." We've tried to make it obvious by writing it in bold red letters at the Top of the Purchase Agreement, which every customer must read before checking out.
We provide other payment options for our customers to avoid that fee if they so choose.
I wish we didn't have to, but with small margins we can't afford what the credit card companies charge. I'd appreciate your suggestions of how to announce it better. Take Care.
@QualitySilverBullion SUGGESTION: Include ALL fees into the cost of each oz of metal. The appearance of having "cheap" or "low-cost" bullion for sale is a farce. Be upfront with your cost per coin/bar. This is what people want. Why make it harder to know the total cost per ounce when you have extra fees that are not included in the original per ounce price. K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid.
@nlucctw2 you mean like apmex advertised prices are allready WITH a %3 discount that gets erased if you order by credit card? If you search around a little bit you will find QSB gives free shipping with a code, so there is ur $20 handling fee.
Okay, a very big silver bullion making company can't even afford a good camera? WOW. I mean my phone is even better than this, and its not even a smartphone! And I don't want my silver coming from those rusty, nasty looking machines.
@JJTechHelp I think this is the second video you've said this on. All of our videos since June 2010 have been with a new camera. I'll give it to you that they aren't great works of art because we aren't professional videographers. We mint silver and if I can help you at all with that it would be my pleasure. It's your decision if you want to base your bullion buying decision on this video. Do you have any other suggestions? I would love it if you gave us some constructive feedback to work with.
Can someone tell me: Given the rarity of buyers for collectible coins and the likelihood of monetary collapse necessitating the use of silver and gold as money instead of fiat notes, why would a person buy the more expensive silver coins, such as the Canadian maple leaf, rather than cheaper private mint coins, bars or whatever is cheapest?
@JesusDillinger Mainly for recognizability and reputation reasons. Though really if the coins are from a reputable dealer and mint marked so that they can be differentiated from other mints and of course quality verified through the mints reputation you should have no problem. Personally I would buy from QSB since they weigh the coins individually to make sure they are not under weight.
@JesusDillinger..if ther is a money collapse yes gold & silver will play a part, if you have items to trade that will be good too. I forget the country but when ther money became pretty much worthless alcohol the kind you drink became valuble..so if you have a few bottles of Jack or Grey Goose that will be good as gold & silver, look at it this way if times get tough people will still want to drink,so if I have cases of alcohol & someone has silver I have the upper hand one can't drink silver
Jim, you can't be older than mid to late 20's - early 30's. How in the hell do you own your own minting company! I'm so envious. Keep up the good work buddy :)
@TadRapidly Sorry Tad. That flag has been through too many battles and wars to just get rid of it. That doesn't mean that I don't like the don't tread on me flag though. ;-)
I've been looking at buying silver but soon I'm joining the military. Do you have any military customers or have any idea weather or not I would be able to store silver on base with me?
@bigbigblue111 I do not know anything about storing on base, but we do occasionally get orders with APO shipping addresses. I'll see what I can find out about storing on a military base and I will get back with you.
I just ordered my first QSB bullion order - looking forward to getting it. I wish you had silver bars - something about bars that feels more like bullion to me.
@doctorjn Go take a look at the website one more time. We do offer 10-oz bars if you are interested. Have a good one and thanks for letting us be your favorite mint!
Very nice coin, beautiful. How much is it? Where can i get it?
i only buy maple leaf at the moment, because it's 99.99 rather than 99.90. To me, four 9s always beats three 9s. (as like full house beats three of a kind)
Phil rounds are so so. I do not know why there is hype about them. Plenty of far better rounds than the harmonics. QSB rounds are top notch. I JUST WISH QSB WOULD FABRICATE 10 TROY OZ BARS. Hint hint. No need for me to go elsewhere ever again for my silver needs pass 1 troy oz. Hint hint.
This is way too cool. Such a young guy running a mint! Way too cool. Must have had a lot of capital behind you or good credit rating!! Congratulations on your success man. Keep up the good work.
Credit? We are getting back to local commerce. We don't need no stinking credit. Besides, the minters are the place to be cause people are waking up and want to store they wealth in sound money. QSB, keep on striking so I can keep on keeping on stacking.
While ASE's are more recognizable, when commodities rise dramatically through inflation - ALL Silver items will be valuable.
A .999 bulllion coin is better to trade in than my mothers silverware or jewelry,as melting process cost money. Won't have to melt down the QSB bullion- already be .999 pure.
I trust whymesilver, therefore, I trust QSB. Silver can always be easily tested for purity. Besides, Jim would NOT risk his substantial investment in his business by producing faulty coins.
@Anothercoilgun ah doesn't matter. if it goes up in price it just means I'm not getting paid enough. the more deflation persists the less I'm gonna wanna work for worthless dollars. people might have to start paying us in ounces of silver.
I picked up some of these indians from QSB a couple weeks ago. Very good coins. I like the half ounce liberty coins even better. The shipping is always cheap even if you don't get the free coupon. QSB will get more money from me shortly!
It's really cool to see the process of how the rounds are made...I just made my first purchase with QSB this morning(20 walking liberty rounds) and I can't wait to receive them...You guys have the best/most fair pricing on the net and I like the way you do business...I will be a repeat customer.
put some slogans on your rounds that good people can believe in. An honest days work for an honest days pay, debt is slavery,an ounce saved is an ounce earned, save for a rainy day, unplug from the matrix, honest money, real money, etc etc
We can do bars but the process to make them is much more involved. For example, we will do 10-oz bar orders if it is for 50+ bars. Otherwise, it is too much of a hassle to fight with the setting up and re-setting up of the machines. Thanks for your comment!
I think your company wil do very well. when the economic crises first hit you couldnt find silver anywhere and the market is so distorted price wise that some cocky sellers were naming thier price for a kilo ...and people were paying
when people find out they are not going to able to take delivery from the comex and etf's all hell is going to break looose if I were you I would be miniting a ton of rounds, kilo bars 100z bars and putting them aside for that moment!!!!!!!!!!!
No we do not because of multiple complications we have had. If you want further details then go to our website and click on the Shipping Details link on the left side of the page.
I am very sorry if this inconveniences you in any way. We would like to ship anywhere, but we have encountered way too may problems with both US customs and other international customs. Sorry!
Or how about something along the lines of the Gold is Money rounds - Minuteman or Bull variety. Maybe have a contest for ideas for a new round that represents silver bugs/End the Fed theme.
A mirror finish is a cool idea for bullion, but the process in creating a complete mirror finish would make the round a prooflike piece. Prooflike grade pieces usually cost more than bullion grade.
Thanks for your input! It means a lot to know what you are interested in. :-)
Most of the public are still ignorant about what it is they are looking at. So... I'd like to see something educational about silver on the round itself! So... work on that idea, please! Btw, can you leave the door open tonight... I'd like to fill a few bags....
That would be the way to go silverbullet, a contest to where you could vote for the best idea and QSB could come up with a new design based on the idea with the most votes. Make it happen QSB :)
I don't feel it would do any good to come up with another design you don't like. If you would like to give your imput I would very much like to know what our customers are interested in for a new coin design. Ideas?
Now remember that this is bullion grade and is usually made and purchased in high quantities. A collectors piece usually has a limited quantity and costs a lot more per piece. As an investor, it usually isn't the best idea to purchase collector's pieces because of the high prices.
I watched your videos. I'm impressed. I'll put a plug in for your company starting tonight at a Paltalk Group Meeting. I'll also put a plug in for you in my next video. You know, I have always stressed to people that Your Government Issued Rounds will eventually hit the melting pots one day. I prefer Generic Rounds. But would pay the $1.19 over spot for an ASE as long as it wasn't chewed up by a lawn mower :>)
I agree 100%! The market is changing constantly, and I am convinced that other mints have government issued coins to remelt too. They need the silver!!
By the way. . . Your ideas about silver that you share in your educational videos are very acurate! People would be wise to pay attention.
Is there such a thing like 100% silver or gold, because .999 or .9999 is not 100%, right? Why do people only sell .999 or .9999 silver and gold and not 100%. Please, answer this question because, I've been wondering this for quite some time.

Great Question!!!! Yes and No! The reason we charge a premium above spot is to cover the minting costs and nothing else.
It costs us to run the machines, pay employees, etc... and we even have to pay a small premium above spot when we buy the scrap .999 silver.
So Yes, If I do the labor myself, then I can buy it for a smaller premium above spot, but it still costs money to buy silver and do the work.
Hope that answers your question.

People would be wise to pay attention.

even though this vid is an ad, I still enjoyed it. Like the buffalo coins. But living in Australia. Thus far I don't have any.
