i dont think camping on a tree stand and baiting is challenging. we usually like to patrol on paths and quickly take a shot at the deer before they notice us.
Bowhunting is extremely inhumane and the animals die a slow and painful death. They hardly ever recover if left, and usually develop an infection and die even slower.
You don't know anything about shooting a deer with a bow. In most cases they die quickly if you have a well placed shot. I've shot deer and watched them die in 20 steps. Lets watch a pack of coyotes gang up on a deer and we'll see how inhumane that is. We put them through less pain compared to anything. We are the top predator and always will be. A well placed shot by an arrow passes through the vitals so fast, that many times the deer thinks its a tree branch slapping them or a bee sting, it's not much pain they feel, and they are usually dead instantly. A well placed shot by an arrow passes through the vitals so fast, that many times the deer thinks its a tree branch slapping them or a bee sting, it's not much pain they feel, and they are usually dead instantly. Their adrenaline kicks in full max, and thats what makes them run till they are finished.

Hunters are the biggest conservationist out there. They are NEEDED to help manage the wildlife. There is many aspects to hunting that are overlooked such as if we don't hunt certain species like black bear then we will allow for them to overpopulate which creates many issues then. So in order to keep "nature's creatures" around we must manage wildlife in order to coexist for future generations. Great shot with a bow for an ethical hunt and beautiful trophy. Enjoy that tasty whitetail meat.

Hunting animals and processing your own meat is a good thing. Shopping at a supermarket is kinda the same thing.
The only real difference is, you have someone else doing the dirty work so you can go pick up a nice pretty package instead of putting your own work into getting meat for the table.

Those who complain about how inhumane hunting is should see what an animal goes through when taken down by other predators. Hunting is the most humane way of keeping the herd healthy and under control. Without hunting to manage the size of the herd, there would be starvation and a spread of disease. Also, the revenue from hunting is good for the economy and helps to maintain our natural resources.

Because if not then it is farming is what you rely on and I know which way i would rather die A) all of suddenly in the forest without a clue after living a wild life or B)artificially inseminated, caged, neutered, separated from the other sex all my life, drenched with drugs, herded into transport, whacked in the head with a metal bolt and cut up whilst still alive.
