Signing them got them more mainstream exposure, bu the people that started with the company in like 2003 were horrible with the exception of AJ Styles and Frankie Kazarian, but since Vince Russo became the head of the writing team, the storylines have gotten a little weak and make no sense most of the time. Like the whole Abyss and "Janice".

no thats false... tna didnt always have the ost talented wrestlers. there was a small wrestling promotion i dont remember the name but fwhile they lasted they had the most talented superstars i had ever seen. alot of them were in relation to bret and owen heart. it also featured the person known to wwe as x pac. not only were the superstars the most talented i'd everseen but they were hardcore. it kind of reminded me of the original ecw. it was on mtv but it wasnt promoted well.

There were a few things that made TNA interesting for me, and Petey was one of them. TNA doesn't know what it wants to be. I'd agree the faster-paced style of guys like Petey and MCMG doesn't carry the weight of more traditional mat wrestling, but it gives their company its own style and something different from WWE. I was really looking forward to seeing what Petey would do on his return, so his departure is disappoints me as a fan and frusrates me as I wonder what the hell TNA is thinking.
That is an overexaduration. The X Division has very little focus on it but the X Division isn't dieing. TNA continues to have X Title matches at PPVS and good to great matches around them. The X Division will never die because then TNA loses its number one draw, the Ultimate X match. I find it funny that people are all upset they don't use the young talent like Dutt, but even if they did you all would say he isn't ready for the main event. If TNA loses AJ Styles or Somoa Joe to the WWE or ROH, then hand me a shovel because TNA would be ready to be buried.
I'm not saying that Petey Williams or Sonjay Dutt would singleheadedly bring the house down in main event matches, I just believe that they are solid talent, and TNA is making a huge mistake in letting them go. The entire MEM aren't entertaining to begin with, so please TNA, break up that stable ASAP. The what? Well, do something new and innovative! Ugh!

Thankyou Spinnernet for your spot on opinion of this matter! I have been saying this for weeks and all I get back is Mafia-fans claiming TNA relies purely on the older "legends" ie. The WCW relics. Yes Sting (however boring!) can still work, and Angle add cruical star-power, but keeping Steiner and Nash and a stale Booker T whist losing Petey, Sonjay, C Cage, is just plain daft.

As for Talent Rosters, Dragons Gate seems pretty high quality too!
Thankfully, TNA seems to be taking baby-steps in the right direction. Samoa Joe's new gimmick is working brilliantly, AJ's slowly returning to the spotlight, LAX STILL have those title shots (Hernandez = Best bigman going?) and Kaz has returned (in a way!)
Still think the "office" side of things is too crowded. 3 Commissioner types in Jarrett, Cornette and now Foley? Too many faces in power on screen.

OK Spin that's just silly. Nobody cares about anyone you just mentioned. Please tell me you're not watching TNA for Tomko, Christian or Petey Williams. They're not bad but who cares. TNA has picked its young guys to push and they're parting ways with guys who've ran its course career wise in the company. A year from now the MEM will be gone but you'll have a roster of young established heels(R.Roode) and young faces(AJ). I love what they are doing now makes perfect sense.

I agree with you because TNA had the most amazing line-up in the wrestling industry. I believe if Kurt Angle leaves, it will destroy TNA. It sucks that some of the tops stars of TNA such as Christian Cage, Tomko, and Petey Williams left. When Sting retires TNA will also suffer a big blow.

no thats false... tna didnt always have the ost talented wrestlers. there was a small wrestling promotion i dont remember the name but fwhile they lasted they had the most talented superstars i had ever seen. alot of them were in relation to bret and owen heart. it also featured the person known to wwe as x pac. not only were the superstars the most talented i'd everseen but they were hardcore. it kind of reminded me of the original ecw. it was on mtv but it wasnt promoted well.

Elijah and Paul London were the only releases that made no sense, well London did piss off the boss and is under 200 lbs. so that was bound to happen.
The pg rating has changed nothing they are no less violent than TNA is now and they have the same kind of restrictions on "foul language" as TNA, the pg rating was the worst thing you could have attacked.
By the way when was the last time TNA put on a good WRESTLING show...... Fall 2008?

There were a few things that made TNA interesting for me, and Petey was one of them. TNA doesn't know what it wants to be. I'd agree the faster-paced style of guys like Petey and MCMG doesn't carry the weight of more traditional mat wrestling, but it gives their company its own style and something different from WWE. I was really looking forward to seeing what Petey would do on his return, so his departure is disappoints me as a fan and frusrates me as I wonder what the hell TNA is thinking.

That is an overexaduration. The X Division has very little focus on it but the X Division isn't dieing. TNA continues to have X Title matches at PPVS and good to great matches around them. The X Division will never die because then TNA loses its number one draw, the Ultimate X match. I find it funny that people are all upset they don't use the young talent like Dutt, but even if they did you all would say he isn't ready for the main event. I like to call that selective bitching, no offense dude.

TNA is letting go two GREAT Cruiserweight wrestlers in Petey and Dutt. Does it seem to you that BOTH WWE and TNA don't know who is truly talented and who is not?WWE pushes Cena and Batista when they can't wrestle a lick. They hold back real talent like Shelton Benjamin and John Morrison. TNA pushes Main Event Mafia, but, let's go of talent like Petey and Dutt, who can out wrestle almost anyone on the whole TNA roster.

TNA needed to make money and they couldn't do it with small size jobber guys like Petey and Dutt. TNA needs to get guys like Cade, Murdoch, guys that are around 220-240 lbs 6'0 and over. Those are the only guys that fans take seriously these days. Guys like Dutt and Petey were too small and they didn't look like a threat.
