My life has been very blessed. I became friends with Tom and Ray in the mid 1970s and all the way to the end. I miss them both very much. All my heros are gone! Maybe someday I will catch up with them if they ride slow enough.

Josh Foster, a guy you coud say that this man also "trained" (see video by camerahorse, last 3 min. of 10 min. vid.) said Tom Dorrance didn't have a proud bone in his body. Reminds me of what meekness is in Bible: not weakness but strength under control. I've heard the young elephants have to have massive chain on their leg; but old ones just a thin chain. Wouldn't it be a lovely world if we all aspired to understand horses the way this master, Mr. Tom Dorrance, did? To approach understanding everything with such patience and love would please our Lord above.
This man is a hero of mine and a hero for horses.I wish I had been able to work with him.
