The song, while it is indeed a very enjoyable piece of music, is indeed a simple and easy to play composition. It is neither technically challenging for a guitarist of moderate standard, nor is the vocal style any more difficult.

It is not insulting to say that a simple song is simple. It's just what it is. Some of the best songs ever written have been in 4/4 time using only 5 chords, in one key. They are highly popular songs, but they are still simple.

A good guitarist will not have alot of problems finding the right chords within a few hours, but playing the notes is one thing, getting it right is something most of us will not achieve, and those that will, will need at least a few weeks to get it absolutely perfect.
