oh man, i heard this tune in Prague last summer in a freaking awesome club don't remember the name but there was a huge devil on the sign, the DJ was outta this world i tell ya he was blasting insanly good tunes all night it was unbelievable but the club went through the roof when he rocked this tune such a classic
only seem's like yesterday when we were banging out to these tune's.damn how time fly's,just glad i was around to experiance it.intro proper used to make you RUSH!!!!
You can see where the "kid's gonna be far out" sample comes from by looking at the John Sebastian 'Younger Generation' (at Woodstock 1969) video on here.
cant believe i was still swimming round my old mans ball sack whilst all this was going on ! why couldnt my mum have been a slut and just popped me out when she was like 14 or something :/ hate my parents !
On December 24 at 8:00 in the morning a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Johnson was found dead. Doctors couldn’t come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what had happened. Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn’t repost a chain letter. If you don’t repost this to six videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight. Sorry don’t want to die
@jimbobraverbaby first thing i noticed the max's GET UP IN THERE!!! back to basics me ol china.. tunes like this keep on givin.. bringin 90's bac 2 life!!
Cant belive this video was made in Boogie Times roecords in Romford! I used to buy all my vinyle from there. Big up Maverick and all the boogie time krew for this 1.
Actually last time i´ve seen this (and similiars) video on Music Television, was in The New Year´s Eve´1999-like an all night long PZ show. After that, they transformed this channel in ONE BIG SHIT,until nowdays:today you can call Gaga TV or Channel For Pregnant Teens,or JSTv or simply REALITY TV!Total Crap.Viacom deserved the title:The big Idiots of the last 10 years !
@guruleinii Yep,u r right...Funny Viacom, what a jerks works there...Viacom should pay to us to watch this shit and if they want to have ne rating...Here,in Spain,MTV is after LaFactoria,Intericonomia,La 10 and many more shitty channels, with 0,3 % ...And this Reality shit channel is scrambled,HAHAHA...WHAT A STRATEGY !!! Should pay to see who´s Paris Hilton BF or the story of age 16 and pregnant and all this on MUSIC TV!!!???LMFAO!
i love this! im 21 years old and got into the scene in 2006, im by no means an old schooler and i know this...but i REALLY dig this music, i wish they would play it more at events...and to put a smile on you old schoolers face, i def rock UFOs, phat pants and colorful clothes at every party :).... tutus and bras and underwear stuff just isnt my diggs! bring back the old school!
Things like this make youtube the best invention ever. Smithy jackets, poppers, vicks vapourub and the wee sticks, tartan custard hats, white dungarees dancing for 8 hours and not know where or who you are apart from where you should be..and a smile that could melt the north pole. oh it brings a tear to my eye. top one nice one get sorted. Never forgotten.
this brings back memories maan, bring back the 90's rave scene. although if search n ask around u can find some of this sh*t going in disused farm barns, woodlands in the north west/east and the classic beach p[arties in the summer on the east coast, search and u will find ya'll =)
@ptelg still, I wouldn't swap it for the skinny Jeans look popular today - Fashion may have changed but it definitely isn't for the better... Happy new year fellow old skool heads!!! 1992 forever... :D
One of my fave tunes from 1992,the sample where it says "the kids gonna be far out " comes from the documentary movie of woodstock 1969.I know cuz i watched it again the other day and some trip heads talking about a baby that was born at the festival and he says" that kids gonna be far out."..damn right !! To gmancrap who hates his generation, well the music may definatly not be as good, but back then produced a lot of casulties as well you know, and a lot of my mates from the era are addicts.
@itube612 MTV is fu*ked period. They don't have any shows with just back to back music videos like back then. It's all shitty sitcoms. You used to get a whole hour of the best videos that you could tape. LOL. Flowers in the garden ep. Still dig it out every now and then!
@md902A lol exactly. You sat there and waited for the beginning of the song, and if you wanted it you just fired away cause you didn't want to miss the onscreen title :-) Actually, this wasn't just about the tv content. It was whole different world where people could realy enjoy themselves.
That's it getin me decks out!!!!! If any1 in the somerset area is up 4 a nite of proper tunes like this txt me 07786133509 - No fees involved just 4 the music xxx
i cant help feel sorry for your generation. Music really meant something back then. It was about creating something special. It just wasnt about the money!!!!!!!! so much total and utter rubbish churned out today. It's embarassing. It is pathetic. Count yourself lucky though. In this day and age, music is literally at your fingertips!!!
That's how they did it back in the day dude - the best raves took place in the open air, the more random and impromptu the better! All we wanna do is DANCE!! =)
@Gresslette Hey "dude", for your information the best raves took place in disused warehouses/ abandoned buildings...open air raves like Raindance killed the moment ..just as the clubs were catching on, all we wanted to do was dance, not be tucked up! : ) X
This tune is flincking great! Does anyone out there know if they made any other tunes, or if any of them joined other well known bands? Love the Roland TR808 getting carried out of the club half way through! It looks like a TR808 anyway, could be wrong.
I love the way the big black fella mimes to the female vocals as if it was actually him singing. Someone must be grabbing is bollocks very tightly if that were true. Great tune.
Well done for posting this truly awesome tune....I'm lucky enough to own this original 12" and also the excellent even more rushier Further Out remix....wonderful wonderful tunes......god Im rushing now...COME ON MAKE SOME FUCKING NOISE!
When I look at what the kids have to put with for music, I feel sorry for them. In the 90's we had THE golden years for Hardcore, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Garage & for Hip Hop with bands like Cypress Hill & NWA.
So glad I was part of that generation :) Who's up for a Rhubarb & Custard?
Why it's only a few videos from 1990-1994 on youtube? such as old school rave music or old school jungle or somethig else? I want more music from loop da loop era!
this reminds me of when i was a little girl and my brother was big into rave :) now at nearly 23 i'm following in his footsteps we need to bring this back :D
I hate my generation, I was born in 1992 so I was missing all of this good stuff.
But its not our fault, music is more corporate now and people don't care about good music they just want to make a hit and get paid that's why we don't have classics any more.
we do have this whole nu rave (Kinda dieing down) and hipster scene going on in nyc its ok but nothing compared to epic songs like this.
Bring raves and oldskool, jungle, acid house back!
oh man, i heard this tune in Prague last summer in a freaking awesome club don't remember the name but there was a huge devil on the sign, the DJ was outta this world i tell ya he was blasting insanly good tunes all night it was unbelievable but the club went through the roof when he rocked this tune such a classic
