Just so you all know, I was peeking around in my Animal Crossing Wild World file, and I scrolled down to the final year(the farthest year in list) and it ended at 2099. There was no 2100 after it. O_O

The GC version has a date limit as well; I THINK it is 2030. If you go to New Year's Eve of 2030, it will turn January 1st, 2031 at 12:00 AM, but when you save and quit and then come back to the game later, it will be back to January 1st, 2030. The same most likely happens for ACWW, but I haven't tried it.
