@theawakener7 You're also a 1/4 bucket of water. Thus the students you ALLEGEDLY teach are 1/8 buckets of water. Sure you teach. A dummy leading more dummies. I don't even think you have any affiliations with the regular JKD nucleus here in the states. The way you talk sucks, the way you teach sucks, you just suck overall. Even a dead Larry Hartsell is 100x better than you.
@theawakener7 Why the hell would I need a clip of myself? To validate myself? HAHAHA. How absurd. There are videos of my Muay Thai fights but they are recorded by other people. Unlike you, I am not in love with myself where I need to put up stupid videos to pat myself on the back. You look stupid in your videos and your "JKD" sucks. You cannot teach, if that is even true, and you certainly don't know shit about Aikido. I feel horrible for those who got conned by your dumb racket.
@theawakener7 Oh really? I've been in JKD for over a decade but I dunno what I'm talking about. LOL. Usually dudes like you put up BAD video clips that look like something out of a Monthy Python movie. Furthermore, you have zero ability to understand the English language. You're talking about no styles and I'm talking about the actual techniques that are within grappling range. Locks and throws fall withing grappling range and Aikido is one of the styles that you can pull from. DUMMY.
Once again I run into another Englishman who can't spell simple English. You also can't seem to read too well. Read what I wrote. I said it operates in GRAPPLING RANGE. In JKD, you learn about different combat ranges and the tools for each range. Joint locks, throws are included within grappling range. That is why techniques from the grappling arts are studied. Why is MMA/Boxing being infallible an oxymoron? Do you even know what an oxymoron is? Who the hell let you teach? A blind man?
@theawakener7 you teach? You sure? LOL. Your videos are pathetic. It looks like handmade shit. JKD my eye. If you truly understood JKD you'd know that Aikido works in grappling range. It specializes in attacks such as grabs, holds, lunges, etc. The enemy of grapplers are strikers that successfully maintain that long striking range. You speak as if boxing and "MMA" are infallible. My god are you brainwashed.
I know it looks choreographed, but I talked to a friend of mine (who is aikido teacher) some days after watching some aikido videos, because I couldn't believe it too.
And he told me this: What you see in this video is just a special kind of exercise called Randori. Look it up in Wikipedia or something, and you will understand what this is about.
I do Wing Chun and Wushu and i've never liked any Japanese arts, but Aikido is plan kick ass, the philosophies and stuff, and also handling the multiple attackers, and no attack.
obviously poeple like you are too uneducated or lack the curiosity to figure out what specific martial arts are about. It is pretty easy to see that alot of these things are not practical in a street fight, however I'm pretty sure there is a reason the founder made it that way. Every aikido practitioner knows that the moment you make contact with your opponent they the fight should be over, but because we know this is possible we don't break our opponent and thus continue with the motion.
exactly what mobofobo said, maybe u need to understand that you dont buy it, nor do u acquire it just like that. aikido is something deeper than kicking punching and shouting. there are no fights in aikido. and fyi, some people "practice" aikido just became a part of their life but have never gotten in a fight but still continue practicing. maybe you should try it for your own sake. not all aikidoka's are mature. some are aggressive so watch out for those kind of people.
well the thing is aikido and aikikai is no martial art. What you want to achive with aikido is a friendly meeting and to show the oponent that there are other ways of solving a conflict then with violence.
@theawakener7 That is definitely some funny stuff... are you auditioning for MadTV in your videos?

It's not choreographed! They just attack him and he reacts with the proper technique.

Maybe the reason is that the founder had no street fights to fight, only a few 'almost harmless' samurai that got on his nerves.

mostly the agresive ones are men who has gotten it all wrong or people that are insecure with them selves and make up for it by using muscular power.
