  • if you want to keep outside year round set up like a goldfish pond but go deep like four foot they will go to the bottom and hibernate in winter just put some four inch deep pans of sand in the bottom to burrow and a air rater to keep oxygen high and good steady mixed diet for bulk they wont eat in the winter of course

  • @pitpen77 and just one in half to two foot would be fine if you bring inside in the winter

  • Make sure if you leave them out at night that raccoons can't get them. Raccoons LOVE turtles.

  • Cool, so when i 2 turtles get big, i can use a kiddie pool?

  • You should gill it up ALOT more , like half way. They would love it so much better!

  • You should put some plants in there it will look so much better. Nice Vid!

  • Wow this looks boring... really

  • Very cool! I have a baby pool too, yet to use since its 10 degrees right now but I hope the turtle likes it. What do you do for water...from a hose? Does it get to cold? Sorry for million questions I was always wondering how I was going to go about using it lol. Check out my videos of my turtle. I subbed, sub back if you like :)

  • Hey thanks for the sub. I used my hose to fill it, but i let it sit in the sun for about an hour to warm up a little bit.
