  • Gives me Flutterbies and melts my Soul.... Such A beautiful voice!

Reminds me of another 'Mr F' that I so dearly love... I love you baby :) xxx

  • the song is lovely; bryan is fabulous....i'll see him perform 10/10 cleveland <3

  • Never was a big fan of Bryan Ferry until heard this song. This has realy got my attention. I'm a fan! This old rocker dude owns cool!

  • all the hairs on my body just took notice

  • the original of this song was in the film the lovely bones. have to say i prefer bryan's version, but then i am biased :)

  • @mad4timbo The version of Song to the Siren by This Mortal Coil in "The Lovely Bones" was not the original. It was originally written and performed by Tim Buckley in the late 60s. Check Tim's original out on YouTube it's brilliant.

  • @2001imac Yes, but Elizabeth Fraser's version is iconic.

  • Please sing this song for me at the Beacon in NYC. A 30+ year fan will reach nirvana. It is a song for the rest of my life. I can't believe I will be seeing you.

  • Yes, he seems to be slowly dissapearing in those sounds of his many co-artists ... kind of dissolving his ego into the ocean. So what, there are 40 years with him as a crooner - not so many artists do survive that ! Very good to hear from him again and again, while his voice is becoming more and more subtile and thinner. That's the way live goes ... and only the moment counts.

  • SUPER ! PERFECT !

  • A PERFECT MUSICAL MOMENT!

  • Of cource no one DOESN"T like this . Bryan Ferry is the coolest guy in music!

  • I'm actually a bit disappointed that he didn't write this song himself though :(

  • @mad4timbo Not intended as an insult towards Bryan, but I am surprised at how little of his own material he uses-he's done a lot of self-promotion through other people's music. His debut was an entire covers album and so on. It's a shame, because he is capable of decent songwriting.

  • GREAT BRYAN !!!

  • SUPER !!! ABSOLUTLY BEAUTYFULL !!!

  • Oh my god it is perfect. Please come to NYC.

  • This song has been covered by many, This Mortal Coil's version being my favourite, but this shimmers with new life! Splendid!

  • this version by BF just haunts and totally consumes me. Can't get it out of my mind...and don't want to.

  • Whe going to use this song as our wedding song

  • Great stuff

  • that bass player does it for me!!!!

  • Amazing

  • Good Lord this is GREAT! Please come to the U.S.A. Bryan! We need a tour from you! OK I am sure he doesn't look at this shit but hey... WE NEED SOME BRYAN FERRY to offset the LADY GAGA in our lives!!!!!

  • The very definition of "epic."

  • Probably the best and most heartfelt live rendition of the Tim Buckley song I have ever heard. Surpasses the studio version on Olympia due to better use of the backing singers and wonderful guitar by Oliver Thompson.

The whale songs at the beginning adds to the etherealness of a beautiful song.

I listen to this and know why Leonard Bernstien said "Music can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable"

  • that's a good guitarist... and I love how Bryan starts shaking his head when he's enjoying the music.

  • Dedicated to Sally Rand
