  • and these guys are black belts?!?!?!? looks like kids in the school yard

  • Its because he has dishonored his shirt!!

  • haha wat up with the hilter saloute at the end of the vid

  • This fighting is terrible. It looks like two yellow belt ten years olds just throwing their limbs at each other

  • One thing is for sure, if the judge in the Mayweather Vs. Ortiz fight was Kaicho Soeno Yoshiji (the Ref in this fight), it wouldn't have ended the way it did.

  • Apparently, 170 lbs is heavyweight is japan

  • Karate pussys..

  • You're a dick. There's nothing crazy about this referee.

  • stupid fight

  • ISSO SIM E LUTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    E OQUI MI REFIROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

GRANDES BIXAS LUTANDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O OUTRO E TAO BRAVO QUI ATE SAIA USA

  • ISSO SIM E LUTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    E OQUI MI REFIROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    GRANDES BIXAS LUTANDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Sports like this is a little dangerous...MMA is less dangerous because you have more options.

  • No headshots?

  • @2020artstart no headshots because that hurts LOL

  • @2020artstart

    Only kicks and knees.

  • girls fight

  • He disrespected the referee... because he punched him...and the referee gave him a slap.. i mean the refefree just needs 1 punch and hes down :)

  • @Jizzo490 yea, maybe american referees need one punch to get knocked out, but asian referees are much more ranked than fighters :)

  • @GuitarDestroyer77777 I mean he give 1 punch to the fighters and they're down :D

sorry for my bad english :)

  • @Jizzo490 that makes sense... hahahahaha

  • That is not karate lmao... they fight like they still a while belt. how sad, they have no defensive stance, their punches are like street punches, might as well call it a UFC fight.

  • Are you sure this is Shidokan? From the symbol on the dogi I would say that the ref and one of the fighters is Kyokushin. Since there is no hits to the face I am going to assume that is is a Kyokushin Kumite with head grabbing (which I think should be incorporated in all Kyokushin knockdown tournaments). It's a good match to watch though!

  • ya gotta listen to that ref dude! :)

  • this is the most annoying thing on the internet.

  • terrible fight neither have a defense its all attack attack attack

  • @26JIGGAMAN i agree, they're not smart fighters

  • That was actually a pretty good and even Karate fight - Shidokan style. Why so many dislikes? The referee was quite funny but calling him "crazy" is a bit over the top.

Also, why does every damn fight video end up with even top comments about TKD vs MT even when there's *nothing* to do with either in the video, ffs, lol? Are there really that many noobs?

  • needs more head smashes

  • not that bad of a fight

  • Why does it feel like i'm in a shelter for sick cats?

  • so this is what a real karate fight looks like...LOL!

  • wow they fight like little girls

  • please ladies... let's remember our manners.

  • Is Shidokan Japanese for fight like a little girl?

    Terrible!

  • LOL You've never done the kind of fighting where no head punches are alowed, it's BRUTAL!!! HURTS LIKE HELL!!! You've obviously never fought in any organized martial art system, or you would know that this actually hurts really bad... =P

  • @GuamKomudo Aww poor you, that you can't take getting hits to the body!

If this is how you guys fight (and that's using the term loosely) I'm glad i did Muay-Thai. If you think punches to these hits to the body are "BRUTAL" pray national level fighters don't ever knee you repeatedly in the ribs... my definition of BRUTAL.

  • W T F ! ?

  • Fuck that ref was soooo crazy :/

  • this just looks like a brawl

  • i do shidokan and have trained in sanshou my recomendation is to keep quiet and watch the video

  • @alexfraser185 You're right, a taekwondo stance alone will probably get your a** kicked in a street fight, but as a person who has studied taekwondo and muay thai, I can say that tkd is very effective, and unless you yourself have trained tkd and attained a high level, you should refrain from posting biased, unsubstantiated dismissive claims regarding its effectiveness. Ultimately, what determines the effectiveness of any martial art is the practitioner and how it's used.

  • @FivePerCentR None of you know real taekwondo lol. Taekwondo was actually built for Self Defense. Anyone who says "street fight" is a poser. Come on, a black tag in Muay Thai?

Growing up, i only knew Taekwondo, and some Savate and its helped me out quite alot. If you dont know shit about a martial art you never trained in then dont try and act like you know it just because you watch a few videos on youtube.

  • @hazza3 ha.! arrogant. you need to learn how to respect. do you really know what a martial art is, besides that is built for self defense? if you never been in a situation where one could potentially endanger your life, then don't talk shit like you know real taekwondo / martial arts. what're you gonna do? spin kick? flying kick? in such situation they're pretty much useless, 'cause your mental and instinct will basically take over you. most outcome will be fear and panic.

  • @88silvercrow88 You know, 500 chars doesn't explain everything dipshit. If presented, i will spin kick or punch or elbow or shoot them with a gun. The situation is NEVER pretty.

Since when did i say my instructor made us punch ice and bricks? Those are only really done to test toughness AFTER training you idiot.

  • @hazza3 just because i made a point you don't need to be a prick. and you treat the rest of us like we're idiots, that we don't know shit about "real" taekwondo. every fucking martial arts teach you how to self defense, not just taekwondo idiot. physical training, technique of punches, kicks, blocks only counts a small bulk of a martial art itself. Yeah, try spin kick, punch, elbow, if you think you can catch a bullet. arrogant piece of shit.

  • @88silvercrow88 You didn't really make any points. You started going off at me for one comment that didn't really say much and assumed thats all i know from that small comment. Now you're spending 1,000 charas just to try to prove a point. A point takes less than that, you're really just ranting for no reason.

Quit cockblocking and grow up you faceless loser. No, most people don t know real martial arts. You haven't really said anything yet prove to do so, Ass.

  • @hazza3 1000 char ey? glad you can count. :) *sigh* look, we can argue and you can be my bitch flipping burgers on my backyard all day, then i can smack those burgers at your face. see how much arrogant face you make.

just keep practicing on your taekwondo until you understand -will to survive. every martial arts share this one goal / philosophy and this comes from your discipline, respect and dedication to your ideology. that's why you should put mental training first. bye kid.

  • @88silvercrow88 Well it wasn't much of an argument. You didn't really say much that was worth noting.

Random insults is just the thing stupid kids do to try to start a fight without a reason and you've been doing that from the start.

Why should i listen to some kid who doesn't even try to make points about martial arts and just make insults to random people who do make points.

If you're so high and mighty, then why are you so insulting, idiot. You fail life.

  • @hazza3 touchie. if you think it's insulting then fix your ego and arrogant first. you're just a naive kid with a blind eye. i feel sorry for you. you don't know me and i don't need to know you so you don't need to listen to anything i said. don't like it? turn off your computer.

are you smoking crack? nobody is high and mighty because nobody is perfect idiot. fail life? life is colorful. success & failure are part of it. what do you expect? black & white? kid, you need to get laid.

  • @88silvercrow88 No Homo.

  • @hazza3 try to differentiate the word "IF". i didn't say your instructor made you punch ice and bricks. even if it's done to test your toughness then you're omitting the whole purpose of doing a martial art idiot. i know 500 char doesn't explain everything when i have to explain to an idiot.

  • @hazza3 no mean to disrespect, if your martial art instructor starts showing you how to do different kicks and punches or how to break layers of bricks / ices, more often than training your mental toughness then i suggest you look for another instructor / train on your own. the only one who knows best is yourself.

  • @FivePerCentR man, don't bother. Its always the 13yo kids with 3 months of training in some mma-shit macdojo that comment on martial arts.

  • @FivePerCentR if i smacked your jaw you would fall over like any other person

  • @FivePerCentR I dunno Joe Rogan was a 4 time national tkd champ and he says it's useless.

  • @natedawg3654 becouse joe rogan is an asshole and studied with clowns, why didnt the study at kukkiwon?

  • @GuitarDestroyer77777 Why did he beat everyone else if he studied with clowns...

  • @natedawg3654 becouse they were clowns too, ;), and by the way, im so so sorry bro for using such a word in my comment, i hate cursing, and i also hate when people use martial arts for fightng, but i wanted to reply to your comment becouse i saw what rubbish joe rogan said about tkd and kung fu, anyway if you want to see real tkd go to kukkiwon

  • @FivePerCentR You don't ever want to be kicked in the face by someone who has been practicing TKD for any length of time.

  • @got2nesa Yeah, true. But would you prefer a Muay Thai knee or an elbow to the head either? Any kick to the head can get you a easy KO.

  • @ko2u2 Obviously, people get knocked out by the most unlikely hits and weakest people, anything can happen in a fight, I was just saying that people shouldn't say "oh that martial art sucks" or "doesn't work", anything can work depending on the person and situation.

  • @got2nesa Yeah. Thats true. It's the fighter, not the martial art.

  • @FivePerCentR Taekwondo will never be effective in a streetfight unless the guy is running towards you. Streetfighters always go forward and attck at the distance these two are. But Muay thai will be very effective.

  • @FivePerCentR You are very right. Its the practitioner. Its like a revolver and a pistol. A pistol is more refined, but if the man handling the revolver is a better shot, he will kill the man holding the pistol.

  • @FivePerCentR TKD has the strongest kicks and you can kick some random guys ass in the street with it but if you pull that shit on a good boxer or grappler...you're done.

  • @GalryZ I have only ever used TKD once in a street fight, one kick to the thigh and he ended up with a broken femur, it works, as with any martial art if you know how to use it. Have you ever felt a TKD kick? How fast it is? They match your good boxer punches

  • @tkdguruforme You broke someone's femur? What did he drink everyday, Coca-cola?

To many ifs or buts to say anything for sure, especially online.

What I can say is that the style war was won long ago, the 90s UFC was just a way to put it on TV.

    BJJ = 1 on 1

Track & Field = Many opponents

Many "MMA" organizations rules favor wrestling.

That there are probably the 3 main arguments everyone always says...and that about sums up the logical answers.

  • @GalryZ nope, just a solid kick from years of conditioning, it just annoys me with all these people saying tkd is useless, I am proof to the contrary, yes on its own a grappler who gets a hold on you will have an advantage just as a boxer will beat said grappler in punching, but first you have to connect and a good practitioner will punish you for it.

The spirit of MA is to improve yourself, not rip into other arts, people lose sight of that along the way

  • @tkdguruforme Ripping into arts has ALWAYS been around. In reality TKD has the strongest kicks but it's just not even in the top 5. That is my humble opinion and I've formulated that talking to people with over 20 years experience and world champions in various arts around the world.

  • @GalryZ bringing back to point, you mention a good boxer or grappler will beat a kicker, I am simply pointing out that they will get punished for it and it is not as clear cut as you mention. Three different areas of expertise with a whole rock paper scissors argument is not a clear cut case, again the skill of the practitioner is tested, not the art itself. However this is merely my opinion formed from many sources over many years and not by any means cast in iron

  • @tkdguruforme Oh definitely they will be punished. I mean the chances of not getting hurt in any fight whatsoever are close to null. There's also the famous "Boxers chance". That lucky strike at the perfect place and time. But after that they fall back at the "every practitioner is different" argument. I agree with that but you have to look at the facts and a Grapplers job is to take you to the ground, Strikers don't practice that. How can you stop it? A lucky shot?

  • @GalryZ I agree about the taking to the ground, I never denied it, all I am saying is it is never clear cut. A grappler has to get hold of the opponent and in that time he will have to absorb punishment and try to stay focused, a striker keeps his distance, its all about forcing your game on the opponent. All I am getting at here is that it is never hard and fast rules, yes grapplers have the advantage on the ground, but first they have to get there with the opponent

  • @tkdguruforme So TKD, Boxing, Karate, Muay Thai, Kung Fu and many other striking arts have Take Down Defense?

  • @GalryZ Do BJJ, Glima, Aikido, Sambo, Hapkido and other grapple arts have strike defense? They are two sides of the same coin, you can not say a grappler will likely win standing up just as a striker can not likely win on the ground. I am talking about your original comment of how a kicker is 'done' when meeting a boxer or grappler. That is my point all along on how you seem to read it as a be all and end all. Different disciplines, different strengths.

  • @tkdguruforme TKD vs Boxing is one argument. Usually the Boxer wins. Striker vs Grappler is another argument. Usually the Grappler wins.

Take Down Defense is incredibly hard while not getting hit by a kick or punch is usually maintaining distance.

I believe you apply the same in TKD, knowing when to move in and move out right?

We can go on and on about this for a while. Do you need me to say anything?

  • @GalryZ nope, I believe we shall just have to end this peacefully now as we agree to disagree.

In the words of Buddha 'work out your own salvation, do not depend on others' good luck in training

  • so you can kick and knee to the face but a punch is illegal?

  • @1RealityBroadcasting

I'm sure you'd help them measure, ya big sad sack fruit booty

  • i think the slap and pulling the gi is normal for traditional karate practice.

  • All karate fights look like bitch fights... you wanna see some real fighting watch boxing.

  • @cooldbz12 dog why do yall have to hate even in boxing theres people that make you think that it sucks not me though ill knock the chit out of someone who fucks with me pardon my vocab but im just saying theres always those sucky people

  • This look more like a bitch fight

  • is anyone else confused at the use of "heavyweight" in the descripition?

  • what a crappy fight

  • extreme bodyshots

  • Why is he crazy? He was scolding him.

  • is someone projectile vomiting in the crowd from like 14-30

  • @nilocolin24 no that's just bets being tossed about.

  • @nilocolin24 LMAO THE BEST OBSERVATION EVAR

  • These are under Karate rules therefore no punches to the face. I'd like to see you guys take hits to the body like that.

  • heh this reminds me of tour de france fights when the cyclists colliide and get up and start swinging ineffectively

  • karate fights are so boring...

  • @SpeakingMyMind7 This kind is, the right ones arent

  • I admire the tenacity of these men.

  • whats hilarious is, all these people dissing this video.... but this vid looks like the style used is kyokushin... which is preety much the most effective karate style out there...

I mean.. people do realise these guys arent wearing pads on their hands right? they are punching at full strength.. the only difference is they arent allowed to punch to the head.. but in a real fight they wont hesistate too..

Go look up andy hug.. that guy was a beast and he was primarily trained in kyokushin

  • Sesame Street UFC!!!

  • @jowdan101 not even close. These kinds of tournaments are ment to only test peoples abilities on a single style of fighting UFC is mixed fighting. Any form of tournament for any style of fighting is not as you state it sesame street of any fighting organization.

  • @wizzof15 you cant really call it mixed martial arts anymore. they seem to have it boiled down to a style type. But guys like Cung Li are still around thankfully.

  • its like a bum fight for noodles not beer lol

  • as a man who has studied hungar boxing and muay thai both at black tag u must understand boardwalkhustler you can not comment on these men as u studyied tae kwon do perhaps the least effective stand and martial art to use in a fight its been proven that infact u are more likely to loose a streetfigt in a tae kwon stance than your average streetfighting stance

  • @alexfraser185 WHO GIVES A SHIT

  • @alexfraser185 If you cant use it on the street what is it good for?

  • @alexfraser185 muay thais shit you knee is closer to top of ur leg than ur foot so obv foot is better to kick with duh. u dont know anythin i've studied many martial arts for 15 years trust me, tae kwon do is better

  • @dadirtysoufbowss lmao then why do most mma fighters learn muay thai instead of taekwondo lmao ,its not as effective as muay thai in a real fight

  • @sunnyahsan1 I've never seen any mma fighter fight muai thai style. It also sounds sort of suicidal to me, as their typical style is an open invitation for a takedown on very bad terms. That would involve not punching, not doing combinations, but limiting yourself to telegraphed midkicks and clinching.

Most MMA fighters have a kickboxing or grappling base, with many regional variations.

But what would you know about various kickboxing styles?

  • @alexfraser185 Black tag is Muay Thai and Hunguar?...... right.

  • Thats not Shotokan. Pls change the title

  • @liopowers Lol sry my mistake

  • @liopowers im pretty sure its kyokushin

  • @monteskinhead it is

  • These guys are bitches. They look like faggot kids fighting on the streets

  • @hxcmexi lmfao and i bet your into MMA and Wrestling eh kid?

  • @100089295

No, not really. I'm more of a Boxing and Thai Boxing fan.

  • Comment removed

  • In Japan, the referee hits you!

  • @MrLickandSlurp gf you tried....

  • They might be skilled but it's boring for us that are not experts.

  • so i guess in shidokan the best defense is a shitty offense..? do they not teach them how to block or something?

  • Too many trolls in these comments..

  • dmn.. im not realy into karate.. but this fight looked pritty messy.. it looked all messed upp lol

  • He's wearing a dress for a start...

  • this are kids playing! no punching but a kick to the head is allowed? LOL

  • @wornoutshoes11 Yes, cause in karate you basically train your fists to be able to go through cement blocks and Iron. Now a fist has much more power without the gloves - the difference is amazing. Imagine a fist without glove, that can break a cement block, to the head. Now do u understand why hits with fist in the head is out of the question here? Also believe me, they are not kids and not playing - fight against a good karate black belt and u will feel pain from every kick, blocked or not.

  • @wornoutshoes11 basically you are ignorant..

  • cant u punch the face?

  • @kspatriot92 Punches to the face is not allowed.

  • Karate should be banned.

  • The video was nice. Nothing crazy about the ref at all. False title.

  • thats heavy weight??? haha ^^

  • crazy referee video??

  • no knock out power for heavyweights

  • heavey weight?

  • You moan about their style but its because you spend too much time watching damn movies and forget they are essentially dancing not fighting because its all choreographed. Not to mention most of the great looking STUNT moves are bloody worthless in a real fight!... and anyway at 0:47 that kick was brilliantly done so wtf?

  • Hadukan!

  • the ref is a master, he could kill those two fighters in less than 30 seconds

  • how would you score this? its just 2 Japanese guys flailing about

  • Gay!!!!

  • This was the heavey weight final? Really?

  • Gichin Funakoshi would be so proud.

  • Dude wtf are you on about you queer fuck!!!

In what way was the ref perceived as ''crazy'', he slapped someone in the head...thats it...

do you spit or swallow dickhead!!

  • This is Bullshit i was expecting Dragon Ball Z.

  • lol shidokan fails..

  • 450 people prefer sweaty, beefy, oily men rolling around on a pretty octogon mat together like they were in a John Holmes movie.

  • i would have fucked up if this fuckin ref hit me public

  • To whomever edited the video... what a terrible job you did, you should be ashamed

  • what...

  • This is why i stopped learning karate and now starting MMA these guys are a joke!!

  • @wisam1991 YEah they look like drunks in a bar

  • and somebody's going to have some bruisessssss

  • are they not allowed to punch the face or what

  • I've done martial arts for nigh 15 years now (im 21). Firstly. Holy shit! These guys are tough, and you can see they both hit bloody hard. The reason the ref slapped him, gave him the talking to and yanked him to his stripe is: he was losing control a bit, so the ref came in to pull them apart and set them right, as the ref grabs the dudes sleeve the dude rips free. In a sparring match or comp of any proper martial arts the ref isn't just some random guy, hes a ranking sensei. I.e you respect.

  • Culture is a big part in this fight they respect each other and therefore are not trying to kill one another that is why the ref slapped the guy he probably saw something that we couldnt see and thought it to be innapropriate you can never get the full extent of a martial artists capabilities in a straight out fight with another martial artist unless when it is without any rules or respect notice not really any face shots which in a real fight eyes would be gouged and noses would be broken

  • it's kyokushin

  • he's aikikai

  • @eyesack9 No, he's just wearing Hakama, Common to all Japanese and Ryukyuan Arts, whether Jujutsu, Iaido or Sumo.

  • BORING

  • hey! fuck i don't know who wins in this fight.

  • Decent fight, funny watching the ref., good job. Also, nice use of knees, neck grabs, etc.

  • There's a lot of assumptions being made about these guys and their ability to fight outside the ring. Am I the only one who has seen guys who were trained from different disciplines get tore off in a street fight? Look...until you see someone actually fight outside the ring all else is just guessing. I saw a video on Youtube of a guy that lost and people made similar comments about his potential outside of the ring. I've seen the guy get knocked out in 3 street fights with no wins

  • crap fight..

  • i want those pants!

  • The dullest martial art fight I've ever seen!

  • any decent mma fight that u know has nothing to do with these guys weight

  • Any decent MMA fighter would slaughter either one of these guys in the first round.

  • @Ratd0g28 you watch too much tv, have no idea what you are talking about, and don't understand what you are watching.

  • @kenfo0 LOL ok.

  • As a man who trains with Taekwondo I can see the skill these men have: Endurance, upper and lower body strength, the ability to kick and punch while having to fend off said attacks. People do not realize how much talent a martial artist has until they fight one. Also, a martial artist trains to become a better, more patient, confident and respectful human being using their talent as a last resort of self defense. These two would have their way with any ordinary guy on the street. RESPECT!!!!!!

  • @Boardwalkhustler well said. +1

  • @Boardwalkhustler

That's true. Back in the day, I saw guys with black and blue bruises after one of these tournaments that made their legs look like a fucking world map. I was unable to walk right for five days after my black belt exam back in 2002. Some of the rivals I fought later claimed to have stayed in bed for two days, unable to walk or even laugh, as it hurt so much. 99% of the morons who comment on these threads would take just one of this kicks and call it quits.
