you do realize that..if he does return the dolls...it defeats the whole purpose of this mv...it would even contradict the title of the song. just because he doesnt return them doesnt mean he's "a stupid jerk", he's doing it because he can have a total break up with her without leaving anything behind, including any other unnessessary feelings/promises towards each other so they can both move on. Its not because he is acting like a dick nor he doesnt care, i suggest u listen to the song again.

if this is real life and you hurt a guy so much (breaking the unspoken promise of mutual love), then burning a doll is an understandable action (the implication of burning). he could have returned the doll nicely, but it lacks the drama the song and the mv try to convey.
