My iPad 2 is 1month and 15days old, and it has the Home button problem? WTF Apple! i paid good money for that tablet and they didn't solve a problem that already affected iPad 1.

@PhantomAct I know. That makes no sense. I thought it was because mine is not only an iPad 1, but also one of the first to roll off the line, I literally bought it the first day it was out , that was part of it. I definitely didn't think any iPad2s would have it. Cray Cray

I tried this and it worked temporarily. But since my iPad 2 is only 2 days old, I couldn't give up. So I found out that if I hold down the home button for about 5 seconds, let go and then quickly tap the home button right after holding it down, it works every time. WTF!!!

The only thing I'd warn you of, is that, recently mine has started acting up again, and though this move still fixes it, it doesn't seem like it's fixing it permanently anymore, like I have to constantly do it, which is annoying. So they only thing I'd warn you about, is that maybe, just maybe you should take it back to Apple? I don't know. Because what if it happens again in 4 months? I don't know. Could your warranty run out or something?

Correlation does not imply causation, i'm having the same issues but i think its a hardware issue as discussed on a few threads, my ipads still under warranty so if it keeps annoying me i'll send it in to apple, otherwise, open her up and replace the home button yourself
