I love the image of the woman treating the broken man. It's very erotic, womanly and powerful in a feministic sense, and there's ultimately a transcendent, saintly quality to it. With a broken spirit like House, it's exactly what he needs. I'm sad that Cameron is gone, as she definitely had that aspect to her character in spades - House himself said she was addicted to fixing people, and the religious nut in S2 even called her a 'healer'. It's clear that this role is being assumed by Cuddy now.
