Ya....it wasn't completed....there were rankings.. but it was the BCS nightmare times 1000. and even when u guys weren't number one in the nation you would claim it as a national championship. example...you guys make it to the sugar bowl...you win...then ud claim a national championship over the number one team... the sugar bowl is just that..another bowl... u cant claim a national title for winning a bowl game..especially when a higher ranked team won theirs..

no a commitee voted the number 1 team, i have a shirt that has all 12 of our ships, and then it says the other years, they include years like 1977 when we went undefeated and they gave the national championship to notre dame because they thought they played better football, we didn't claim it in 1977, even though we should have won it, we just have so many people around us who hate us (auburn, lsu and tennessee) that's why u hear rediculous stuff like that, on espn they always say we have 12 ncs
