Maschine Tutorial #3: Browser & Library Part 1

ever since I Updated to 1.7.2 when i'm surfing my sounds in my sounds folder, as soon as I load a preview it all my folder filters reset and its making me wanna scream

I was thinking of buying an mpc1000, but now I see that the maschine is WAAAAAAAAAY better! WAY more ram, samples, + a program for the computer. You also DO NOT have to buy the 300$ upgrade which you have to get for the MPC1000.

did any one else have problems loading their own samples into the library? i loaded it, catagorised it, and then went looking for it and it wasnt there? am i doing something wrong? i hit rescan a few times. still nothing...

You can not preview sounds? you have to browse and load them up to the pads. That sucks!!!!

@M3XEM If this is a windows system, you have to run Logic as an Administrator. So right click your .exe and select "run as admin" should be able to save now.

@mikedradio oh! i think you can . there is an icon that looks like a soundspeaker below the browser on the software. if it is selected you can hear it.

@Missmodified92 yeah but apparently you have to use your keyboard or mouse to go thorugh the samples in order to hear them. @NativeInstruments really need to release a fix for that, it's very annoying!

@lvngdead I think the company is called that way because when they started making software they were amongst the first to only rely on the computer cpu itself, thus running applications in a native environment rather than supported by third party dsp hardware (the protools or the uad plugins used to work). i dont know why that fashion of computing only on the cpu was called "native" in the first place, but that's just a tech term which has been used for ages.

@SoBlezstBeatz im not sure, but it looks as if the audition button isn't clicked on. I think when its enabled it should be able to audition while browsing with the knob before loading.

@SoBlezstBeatz You surely can. when browsing for a sample just press the pad each time to hear what it sounds like before loading it in. The loading is instant.
