This phone is terrible! I Used it for 6 months & the screen slowly but surely stopped working. First I couldnt text vertically. then when I would text horizontally and the entire top row of letters weren't tangible. Games like angry birds and slice it run entirely too slow. I hope no one buys this phone.

I have that phone with cricket's service. It has horrible coverage. All of my friends can get web access on their verizon phones on my campus and i can't even get a text out. The screen is unresponsive and the processor is super slow. Saying it is competitive with an iPhone is ludicrous. I dropped the service because it was so horrible and they have the nerve to raise prices with their coverage as bad as it is.

@morrisseyowesmemoney cricket is better then my verizon service (verizon sucks in my area). the ascend is a low end budget android phone, so yeah its going to be a tad bit slow. the iPhone is a joke (this phone compares to the iPhone 3gs (is a low budget phone with today's iPhone) which is also slow when running the latest OS it can run). none of my friends had issue with cricket service around me. i am dumping verizon and going with cricket.

@madmax2069 I couldn't justify keeping it, though. The service is so awful here and the monthly fee increase just put the icing on the cake. I rather like Apple's handheld devices, I've owned various ones throughout the years and they all were durable and served me well while I had them, I have no complaints. Other than contracts and cost, I can't see how these two are comparable, but that is just my experience.

Honestly this fone has some major speed issues or it might just b mine.. This phone suck!! The texting is sooo terrible and the apps are worst than that. Facebook app doesnt allow you to see all your notifications. You still have to go to the main site. When it comes to the texting Ive had great phones in the past but this phones texting capabilities are the worst Ive ever had to use!! Your gonna always have to correct your words because the touch screen is terrible!! The only positive thing I can say about this phone is the price.

I'm sorry but there is nothing fast about this phone. I've had mine for a week and I'm already considering replacing it with a flip phone. The keyboard is so slow and non responsive it makes texting more trouble then what it's worth. The phone has randomly rebooted on me twice.

Problem is, not all can be FULL FLASH(means you wont have internet).I would talk to a FLASH tech you have in your area, and not going through your cell phone store(cricket ect.)unless they have full time FLASH Tech.
