  • I got this too, its not the player, its wrong synced! Just delete and sync again

  • the same things happening to me but i have full version

  • I am having the same issue! WTF apple!

  • Just updated mine and it does this

  • wow, so they released this with the bug still there, pissing me off big style!

  • Guys install itunes 10.5 beta 9. and sync. it will work fine

  • Same thing here, will try updating via cable versus via air and see if it makes a difference.

  • can you make calls on ios 5 beta 7??

  • Same problem :p

  • ios 5 betas stopped running some mp3s..probably detected some sort of codec problems..take all mp3s n reconvert them in mp3 format them put them back in using itunes...

or i prefer "91 pc suite for iphone" ...the ultimate solution to every problem

  • this happened to mine to.....

  • seen a slayer song in there fuckin right

  • its because ur songs are gay

  • Nah, I got the same problem

  • Had the exact same problem. Did the update over the air so I think that might be the problem. Just re-synced and its working fine now.

  • This is not bull as it happened to me also, fags that are commenting saying its bull are just noob fags and most likely apple haters.

  • @n7hax I KNOW!!!

  • that happened to me on my iphone but i just resynced the music and it worked

  • he's jailbroken of course it aint gonna work duh

  • PPL Listen stop saying it doesn't work! Re-sync all music and videos and it will go back to normal.

  • You have to unsync and resync your music from iTunes. This happened to me.

  • It's disconcerting when beta testers don't even understand the reason why there testing, that's why all change logs should be written in laymen's terms!!! LMAO

  • WTF!! I'm switching to Android!

  • HELO!?!? IT'A BETA DUDES

  • I just let it sync again with iTunes and everything went back to normal. Obviously the iTunes that came with this beta of iOS.

  • Yeah mine too. Well on my iPad. It won't plat at all. Really sucks! :|

  • Wtf

  • this happens to my phone as well :|

  • @solidsnakev12

As with all other updates you have to have the corresponding beta 7 ITunes for syncing to work correctly

  • It's work for me

  • Won't work because iTunes won't even let me sync now. It's saying that i need iTunes 10.5 or higher in which I already have it so wtf???

  • @solidsnakev12 because you need itunes 10.6.20 or something... the ios 5beta 7 version :P

  • Had the same problem. Just restore from Backup! Quick fix!

  • i have the same problem but just found out about it recently... looks like i'll have to do some resyncing here.. ugh!

  • Everyone don't stream iOS beta 7 via wifi there are too many glitches such as unable to play from the music app. Instead, download straight from the developers website. Open iTunes. Click Option/alt restore on iTunes and select beta 7. Remember to backup iTunes before restoring to beta 7. Let me know how it turns out.

  • What is that icon next to the skip button for

  • @jeremymckoon18 Airplay

  • You have to resync music. Meaning, un-Sync then syncing music again after it is wiped. Solves the issue.

  • i had to dlete all my music and reinstall it

  • why did beta 7 break so many things?

  • i got the same thing...

  • go to your music app and go to more and click on shared then it will show two thing your iPhone and your computer library and click on the library and it will work

  • Type 2 : Your iTunes setting is "Manually change music and video"

A: First, select "Auto sync music and video". Then, let iTunes sync your music or video to your idevice. Use your mouse to pick "x" and it will cancel the sync. Finally, select "Manually change music and ..." to put the music or video by yourself.

  • I found a way to solve it. Try it and tell me it's work or not :D

Type 1 : Your iTunes setting is "Auto sync music and video"

A: First, don't select "Auto sync music and video". Then choose "Auto sync music and video" again.

  • mines not working. howlish!!!

  • just connect to itunes beta 7. it will work

  • I have the same problem iOS 5 beta 7 music player doesn't works

  • I have this exact same problem for nearly all of my songs now on iOS 5 beta 7. I've managed to find a few that work though.

    Still looking for a fix!

  • hmmm mine works.. mine did that on beta 6 and all I did was restore from an actual iOS download from the developer website and it worked fine after that

  • same problem here

  • restore and report back :)

  • works for me. :/

  • lol i suppose apple doesn't think to check to see if the music works. They just figure that never gets broken. But it is beta, after all, folks.

  • So don't update????

  • i dont get it?
