Myself as a muso, sometimes you don't care about the audience because you already have the money in your pocket. Jst do the paid gig and its over. Also the venue was a Working-mans Club, drinkers and dancers together, whether they like you or not, know who you even are, those patrons all pay for your gig. I pick my venues, audience carefully. For my music niche, I avoid these places like the plague!! As intelligent as Kimbra is, she knows all this and she would have enjoyed the experience.

Probably every gig I've been to at the Workers Club, people are talking. It's a longish room so people feel like they can get away with talking at the very back. The only gig where there wasn't talking was probably Rowland S Howard..

This is highly irritating. There is nothing worse than people rabbiting on during a gig. Once, I got up on stage back home in Hobart (AU) and my friend yelled 'Shut the fuck up! Jaz's playing!' Good times.

I can only imagine this Workers Club place is generally just a bar where people go to drink and sometimes theres live music. Nobody with any sense would talk through such talent. Especially if they payed for a concert. These fools just don't realize what they're witnessing!
