*smiles* What a great scene this is! Always have been my favorites! I used to have this movie on purchased vhs until I had to get rid of it! But, I can always get back on dvd or vhs on ebay! Think I'm gonna watch this again! This was great! :D
Lee Evans was absolutely stunning in this film. It was one of Oliver Platt's first films too. A great physical comic, but in my view, he's an even better actor. Gutbustingly funny performance. I actually believe his performance in this film is nothing short of legendary. Disagree if you like, but to each their own.
@terrycharnley I absolutely agree!!! This film was a sleeper (it didn't get that much attention), but (to this day) it's one of my all time favorite films. It was amazingly funny, and absolutely touching. Loved watching ALL the actors in this film (Jerry Lewis, Oliver Platt, Lee Evans, Leslie Caron, George Carl, Freddie Davies... ALL the performances were spot on!). :)
