@gfdgerhehrhe Well I was from Iraq and my dad told me Saddam respected everybody. Even though he was very dictatorial. The shias just demanded too much in change in society. And he just didn't see a purpose in that. I remember everybody living peacefully. And my mom and dad's early years (while he was vice president) were fun and free. They never complained of anything. We're Christian BTW. So I'd imagine if Christians were treated well under, then certainly Shias and Kurds were too.
