Eggman was called Robotnik in mulitple countries in the 90's,

Japan has aways called him Eggman

in 1998 Sega decided to use Eggman world wide. However they have not abandend the name Robotnik. in Sonic adventure 2 it talks about Professor Gerald Robotnik, and how he is Eggman's Grandfather. Eggman is now more of a nickname kinda like Tails. Eggman's full name is Dr, Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik just like tails is Miles "Tails" Prower.

i am really expecting sonic adventure 3 next year for sonics 20th anniversary and i am also expecting

1 A chao garden

2 new arrivals of silver and blaze to the SA series

3 a new form for the final boss but you can play as sonic shadow and silver

4 bring back knuckles and rouges treasure hunting levels

5 dont put tails in a machine and give him some useful moves instead of throwing phony rings...

6 multiplayer

7 omega somehow pops up in it as a playable character

8 A CRUSH 40 MAIN THEME THUMBS ^

Actually, If you go on the game play and check it out the game looks like Sonic Unleashed without the Werehog levels. It looks like a lot of fun, looks like SEGA finally made a good Sonic game. I'm already getting it reserved at Same Stop next week and I cant wait! :D

This is just a Wild guess on what will happen. Eggman steals these aliens which brings colors to Earth(or Mobuis? I dont know where he is). Everything goes black and white, so sonic gets involved to stop Eggman from stealing all the colors of the world.

Most Sonic fans don't like the way Sega's taken the blue hedgehog.

Making him look better was fine, but on the consoles they stress graphics too much and the gameplay was pretty poor.

After Sonic Adventure 2 came out, Sonic was at his prime. He barely had a crappy game anyone cared about. Sonic 1,2,3, Knuckles, and the adventure series were all good, along with some of the others I've played in the collections Sega's been putting on the Gamecube.

Good news for everyone!

In an interview at the E3 Sega stated that the gameplay is going to have LOTS of 2D parts mixed with the gameplay of daytime stages of Sonic Unleashed. They said it themself that they tried to integrate everything the fans wanted. You can also see some gameplay parts. Look at Nintendos E3 website! It could be even more astounding than Sonic 4 by the looks of it!
