  • @gregory188 allergies

  • welcome to the bay! i absolutely love SF, my favorite city, although i am biased. Check out Hayes Valley for shopping. and The Castro just for fun. good food is everywhere! definitely go to Lombard St. sooo crooked! for more tourist-y things Alcatraz, Fishermen's Wharf, Golden Gate... that's all i can think of now. enjoy your time here!

  • can't wait to see day 2 (:

  • The reason it looks clean where you were in the beginning is because that is the nicer part... go to the tenderloin district if you want to see poverty. Doubt you do.

  • i live in sf! haha i love that you're in san francisco! :)

  • go to chicago... :)

    awesome weather and it's beautiful.

&& GREAT shopping... seriosuly can't get better.

    xx

  • Hi Lorraine, places you need to go in San Francisco are:

Lombard Street= crookedest street in the world

Ghirardelli Square= home of ghirardelli chocolates

Pier 39= yummiest crab/ clam chowder in bread bowls

    Golden Gate Bridge

I'm from New Zealand and I loved those places :)

  • lorraine, you need to eat an It's It before you leave! best ice cream sandwich evaaa.

  • sf is my favourite city by far

  • In the song San Francisco some of the lyrics talk about how friendly the people who live their are.

"If you're going to San Francisco, you're gunna meet some gentle people there" and so on.

  • San Francisco is my absolute favorite city (though I may be biased, having grown up around there.) "The city" will forever translate to "San Francisco" for me.

You should definitely check out Taylor's Refresher in the Ferry Building; it has my favorite burgers of all time! The Ferry Building also has cute little shops that sell cupcakes and artisanal cheeses and all sorts of great things.

Also, Hayes Valley, Sacramento St, and Chestnut St for shopping. Have fun!!

  • Wow, did not know those big bracelets were silver. They look like the big fake ones people wear haaa. Hmm, should have known, they look waaaaay too nice to be "faux".

  • I'm going to SF in Sept, can't wait!

  • I had ordered a rose headband from your website about 10 days ago and had money sent through Paypal. I haven't received a shipping confirmation email/the headband yet... does this mean my order didn't go through? Please let me know! Thanks so much Lorraine!!

  • SF is just a couple hours from my house and we go often to play for the day - it kind of feels like you're in my back yard! Everything you're showing looks so familiar and home-y. Glad you're enjoying it. <3

  • These are my favorite videos :)

    i love your vlgogs

  • I worked at the airport odds are the only bracelets that will set of the metal detectors are ones that fuuly connect, (complete circles). Just a heads up/

  • Man, this really makes me want to go to SF.

  • Death is among me.

    lol

  • Hi Lorraine Glad you are enjoying SF you are right it is the best!! Lots to see and do but yes you do need some good walking shoes :)

  • MY HOMETOWN!!!! I so miss it. Everyone goes to Florida to retire but me, I'm going home to Frisco baby

  • i am in SF ! I luv this place!

  • Feels SOOOO GOOOODD to hear wonderful things about San Francisco!!!

I left my heart in San Francisco

High on a hill, it calls to me.

To be where little cable cars

    Climb halfway to the stars!

  • I live like 20 minutes away from San Francisco. It's so diverse and everyone is really active, I love it. It's neat to hear a tourist's thoughts and what not. Glad you're having fun!

  • I forgot to say....other busses go to Filmore but dont take other busses - not all parts of it are nice. ONLY take the 1 California or you might end up in a bad part. And I mean bad.

  • I dont know where you are staying but here what you do. you take the 1 California bus to Filmore street. Get off the bus and walk around there. Its a really nice neighborhood, not that touristy but lots of cute shops and restaurants. Wont take that long. Its like a "real" SF neighborhood. Its in Pacific Heights so there are heights. Wear your flats.

  • i was just in SF last week! isn't it awesome? and those are totally not the right shoes to wear, lorraine....

  • I tried to tell you it was hella cold in SF.

  • Hi Lorraine...I live in sarasota as well, and I was wondering if you order your fresh products online? or if there is a store here you can get it at? Thank you!

  • If you want to see a great aquarium in SF, you should head to the Academy of Sciences. Also for great little boutiques, head over to Chesnut & Union Streets, where the Marina district is. Also, this weekend is the Renegade Craft Fair(sponsored by Etsy) at Fort Mason, where many vendors show their wares.

  • You should go to Joes Crab Shack if you like seafood. Sometimes I think about driving over to SF just to eat there

  • SF=best city on earth

  • Lorraine, Tourist place - Fisherman's Wharf has food places on the pier, shopping etc!

Also Chinatown food, shopping, and you feel like you're in China! Very tourist place!

    Fun to be had there.

  • arizona sucks.

  • Yay Lorriane! Glad you're having fun in SF. I LOVE living here!

  • You need to cone down to San Diego! I honestly feel it is 100x nicer than SF. Downtown is beautiful and has the gaslamp district for amazing food and clean bars. Plus The BEST Mexican food EVER and Horton plaza! The best outdoor mall in the center of downtown. And I'm not saying all this b/c SD is my hometown :)

  • I live in the Bay Area and I love it! California is amazingg <3

  • YOu would LOVE Charlotte, NC...not being partial, just saying! :)

  • cold cold bloody cold?

COME TO THE UK LOL ;P

  • people on the west coast are a lott nicer than people on the east coast, it's a lot better

  • LOL. You sound really drunk at the end of the video.

  • I want to San Francisco so bad thanks to you!!!

  • Yeah becasue in Florida we are not soo nice. I just moved to northern florida and they are really nice and I lived in Tampa they were nicer than my home town I lived in Broward most of my life and they are mean...lol

  • I went to SF 2 years ago and it was great...i see youve been to fishermans warf/pier 39.. had some really delicious sourdough bread bowl you must rry. Union square has great shopping..of course ghiridelli square. You have to walk Lombard Street, which is the most curvy road in the states..its wild. and i took a walk through tour of Alcatraz which was pretty fun, and I would suggest if you can to take a bus tour through the city-takes you to goldengates & the highest point which is amazing view

  • i love that grrey top your wearing

  • Oh and some of the cabbies are insane! Driving on those hills like a roller coaster, fun though! And yes you definitely need your tennis shoes!

  • @alidee1285 haha i know right, on the way to the airport i swear the cab took flight off the hills he was going so fast i thought i was going to die lol

  • Oh my gosh I went to san francisco with my parents when I was in 9th grade and I was so miserably cold I had to run into GAP while we were walking around and buy jeans and a cardigan! The wind coming in from the bay makes it so chilly and I was there in July too! And there was also a tremor when I was there as well ha!

  • I had a pet chinchilla! she escaped and fell down the toilet and drowned when my gran was looking after her because i was on holiday :( no word of a lie.

  • If you came to san fran in the beggining of the summer it'd be nice and sunny. (;

  • Aw I used to have a chinchilla as a pet :)

  • You're making me want to move to San Francisco!

  • I was just there yesterday!

  • I was in SanFran in early July and had a BLAST. I'm from NY and it is exactly that - a cleaner, friendlier, healthier version of NY. I recommend taking a day tour of Sonoma or Napa if you can (so FUN) and def go to Ghirardelli Square for amazing yummy goodness! There are some cute stores in the square as well.. unique jewelry and handicrafts.. I think on the lower level of Ghirardelli Square. Palo Alto (where Stanford if) is also super cute - you can take the CalTrain there. Have fun! <3

  • you have to go to ghiradellis! And Union square has great shopping

  • I wanna live in san fran! if it's cold thats were I bellloong

  • We love you here in San francisco!!!

  • you need to go to the marina area, you would love it!

  • i hope your brought tennis shoes lol.. Im shocked no one told you its cold in SF.. if it gets "hot" it would be around 75degrees.

  • still obsessed with that ring

  • "If you're going to San Francisco you're gonna meet some gentle people there" anyone know that song..? haha she made me think of it when she said how nice everyone is.

  • Elite Cafe has the best teeny biscuits packed with yummy flakey flavor! Also it's near Marc Jacobs and a shu uemura shop among other boutiques.

  • My mother was a San Fran native. It's not the air, it's the incline. It's killer! I now try to walk on the treadmill with incline before I visit but the machine can't really simulate it that steep! Haha. Definitely take the ferry! It's a little adventure

  • lorainne what do u do while ur waiting for ur food at restaurants since ur traveling by urself?

  • Check out union street if you want shopping and good food, theres so many little places to eat that are amazing to! The cheese cake factory is very good. OH! and go to golden gate park:)

  • hahahahahh i fucking loveee youuuuuuu!

you make meee laugh. come to nova Scotia .

  • You neeed to check out Haight Street! they have a lot of funky stores and Chas Chas has great sangrias! and go to the Castro where all the gay men hang out they have some posh cafes there also, to shop of course union square!! the best hot chocolate is at Ghiradelli square and the best views are at the end of the pier! have fun and watch out for those homeless peopel!

  • i grew up in new york and moved to the bay area once, and i thought the same thing about the people. everyone says hi to u and lets u cross the street...in new york, youll just get run over!

  • Spongebob Squarepants in the back? Really Lorraine...really? : )

  • You travel a lot.

  • You definitely need ballet flats or low wedge boots here in the winter if you're walking a lot. You should take one of the ferry tours (blue/gold or red/white fleet). They're back by Pier 39 where the aquarium is. It's very touristy, but great views from the water. If you do, take a jacket bc it gets cold.

  • Hi! You remind me of the time when I have been San Fran. Miss there soooo much!!!

It is the most romantic city I have ever seen among the states!! :)

  • I went to San Francisco a few years ago and I went to the pier. I didn't stay in San Francisco though so I didn't know just how cold it was. Seriously was a complete shock to me. lol :)

  • You should go to Dottie's True Blue Cafe for breakfast in the Tenderloin/Civic Center area. They usually have a line to get a seat but OMG everything is baked fresh including their grilled chili cornbread with jalepeno jelly. MMMMMMMM

  • I think San Francisco is combo of NYC and maybe Boston? :) Lovee it.

  • wow you did alot! those places are not that close to each other, and you saw alot of places in one day! hope you enjoy san francisco, this summer is colder than usual though, it's usually nice than this i promisse :)

  • Lorraine, when are you going to come and visit us here in Canada? you would love it! xoxo

  • @galy1979 Yay! Good idea! Please come to Canada. We're some of your biggest fans!

  • Death is among me! !!!1 ahahahaha i lvoe it, I found that with san fran, was there on a layover and the hills killed me, esp with a big backpack...arghhh but it was fun! the funniest thing you've ever said, actually yo crack me up everyday with your stories!

  • If you like garlic go to the Stinking Rose...

  • you took some pictures! wow :D

  • LOL i adore you!! "I'm not touching any of that!!" words to live by!!

  • I admire you. It's amazing that you don't rely on people to travel with you.

  • Your'e feet look sore if that makes sence. Wow it does look really pretty there and I do love your shoes :)

  • Drive to and down Lombard St, and film it. hahahaha pleeeease. Google it you'll find out why. It was the funniest, craziest drive we've ever taken. Love San Fran!

  • your videos are great but CAN YOU PLZ CLEAN THE LEN ON THE CAMERA...I can see the spots that need to be clean... thanks

  • The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco." - This quote has been attributed to Mark Twain. Sorry, but I hate to say this, putting your shoes on the bed that you sleep on is kinda gross. And San Fran. has the BEST shopping and restaurants, parks, people etc. I love San Fran. that is where i got married!

  • love the aquarium....amazing..shark!

  • Heels in SF for me are a big no no, lol. I hope you go look @ Lombart St.

  • go to haight-ashbury.. really fun hippie shops! also golden gate park has great museums and gardens

  • haha that was a sturgeon lorraine! They live in huge lakes and rivers, not the ocean!

  • don't you think that after a detox week being bazck to normal-junky eating could be dangerous for your body?

  • I love that grey top you're wearing with the leggings! I love that look (: So nice.

  • My friend was in San Francisco 5 days ago and she had to but a coat and Uggs because it was soo cold! She also took a picture by that gold heart you filmed!

  • ah yeah! welcome to SF!. Its been a really extra cold summer, we kinda get robbed of our summer here. Go to Valencia Street In the Mission, The Fillmore/Japan Town for cool shopping. Hayes Vally also.

  • oh it really does look pretty there. Have fun!

  • I envy you! Wish i can travel and explore by myself!

  • The Tourist Boards in these cities should be paying you for the promotion haha!x

  • Go south of SF , to the peninsula to visit cities such as San Mateo, Mountain view etc; it's much warmer there and also very beautiful and green but more elbow space

  • Is anyone else kinda bummed that Debbie hasn't been in the last couple videos? lol

  • First day in the city and VIDEO ONLY 5 min long about SF ?? not acceptable

  • That looks like a really amazing city. I was thinking of going to New York next year fir my very first trip to the US but I may have to rethink that after seeing this video! I like that the people are so friendly. I'm from Ireland and it's like that here. Strangers just randomly talk to you. I've heard that NY is not so friendly and that kinda puts me off a little. What's the shopping like there? Thanks for the vlogs they're great! I keep checking my iPhone for your next upload.

  • i was really surprised when i arrived at oakland airport today & it was 55 degrees!

  • If you're still interested in getting a tattoo I think you should check out Everlasting Tattoo. San Francisco is my favorite city too, my second is Seattle! The hills in both kick my butt! For jewelry in Seattle I recommend going to Fireworks Gallery. I hope you continue to have fun!

  • is that chanel watch the J12 watch?

  • o yeah i love san francisco, i live in the area and i'm going to build my house in frisco cause i just love it there. have you ate some clam chowder from san francisco yet, you need to try this place on pier 39 its called chowders and right below it, it says chowder so good you'll want to eat the bowl!. you should try the place out its one of my favorite places to eat clam chowder

  • Thank you for doing these videos, I feel like a butterfly on the wall, traveling with you to places that I can't yet afford to travel myself. Keep up the good work and you always look gorgeous by the way.

  • visit the California Academy of Science in Golden Gate Park, it really a cool place and they have an awesome rooftop garden and an indoor rainforest.

  • Is ur camera lens spotted from the Austin rain? Or am I seeing things?

  • yay! you're in SF. welcome here, yes people are that nice lol i'm still not even used to it and i've lived in the bay area for years

  • My fav city is actually Boston, but i won't be moving there for certain reasons....but i love that city more than NYC

  • boston needs to fix their train up though, it's soooo old and nasty looking

  • The main thing i dread about ny is i couldn't breathe there, literally it was bad...and i hear about this "LA HAZE " in songs but i didn't feel it....i felt the haze in NYC....that was something...esp when you are a smoker like me...that is something i hope in brooklyn would be different...which i remember it being different there, which is where i want to live
