@tank12war well if the light bar hooks up to your receiver box that the controller sends to it may have a extra spot for stuff then when u plug it into the receiver your controler may pick it up (if its a screen) or program it in to one of the buttons but with out putting it into the receiver box i think not 100% sure u will just have to turn them on by hand but im not much on the boats i could tell u any thign about traxxas slash though lol

@OBSysteme Yes, the speed is definately out of scale. However, it's to simulate the actual water pressure the combat hulls would be under if they were full scale as the water itself cannot be scaled.

I saw these at an rc festival like 10 years ago. The outer body was made of something weak like balsa wood and interior was stronger to protect the electrics. They were pretty cool to watch, just don't stand too close. A couple of the drivers got hit in the leg by stray bbs lol.

Bottle rockets will travel underwater...especially the whistling type. Sometime try launching them from shore into the water. They'll travel like torpedoes then make a big BOOM! Great fun. Might blow hell out of the model though.

You really cant tell whats going on and the boats lack any sort of detail that would make them interesting to see cruising around. Thing like this never look right in videos anyway since there are no explosions or gun noise.

@marinecor2332 equivalent of shotguns? that's absurd. at least in this video. yes they are firing BB shot, but its traveling at 300ish fps, maybe 5 or 6 at the most. not 1200 like a shotgun or 1100ish for a 22. at 100 meters. even using subsonic rounds with a projectile that size at around 600-750fps the impact on water or boat would be a dead give away.

@marinecor2332 whenever i said the bit about subsonic rounds traveling at about 700 fps, i was talking about .22 short loads. i shoot them for fun all the time. the projectile is the same size you fucking twit. the whole "caliber" rating lets you know that. its certainly larger than an airsoft pellet, and the big difference is the mass difference. the difference in momentum, since the projectile is larger and moving faster, it huge.

MOMENTUM = MASS * VELOCITY

even with "low impact" rounds, otherwise known as SUBSONIC ROUNDS like i keep telling you, the velocity of the round is about twice that of the projectiles fired from these ships. on top of that, the mass of a .22 round is at the very very least double that of a BB. so it is literally physically impossible for them to make the same impact. moron
