Electric cars are no way cheaper than petrol cars. Because the batteries need complete replacement after 2 -3 years. now that will take all the money you saved from petrol costs for 2 -3 years. Also battery acid leaks eat up the body of the car. smells of acid fumes. and NO AC. Many people have experienced this.
air cars emit cold air. So no AC is required at all. Goes 200km under $2. You can see videos on the net it works nice. Even my petrol bike claims 70kmpl but I normally get 40-45.
2002 Participation of MDI at the Paris “Mondial de l'automobile” car show with the Minicats . « From that point on a real complot has been mounted to get us down, says the engineer. 200 legal proceedings have been launched against MDI and we have been repeatedly harassed”.
Up to now, Guy Nègre has filed more than 100 patents, of which 3 co-owned by ELF and 2 together with the French Institute of Petroleum, l’Institut Français du Pétrole.

The H. K. Porter Compound Air Locomotives, 1896-1930
Inventor Charles B. Hodges became the first and only air car inventor in history to see his invention become a lasting commercial success. His engine was two-stage and employed an interheater between the two piston stages to warm the partially expanded compressed air with the surrounding atmosphere. A substantial gain in range-between-fill-ups was thus proven attainable with no cost for the extra fuel, which was provided by the sun.
and what positive solution ideas have you come up with? or are you too busy finding stupid, short range (7km) air car cons that steal money (over $10 million) away from real ideas such as lithium batteries recumbent bicycles external combustion engines fired by biomass etc
Dear cynics, maybe you can show your proof on say, a Blog. Are we not able to investigate this without putting down others and being abrasive? Its not good for anyone in the long term don't you think?
This car will never be sold in the U.S. can you imagine trying to pull out into traffic even in the city with this car, it has an acceleration of zero to 10 miles an hour in about 30 seconds. Anyone on a bicycle could easily out accelerate this car from a dead stop.
I will tell you the one thing that MDI will never talk about on camera and that is its crash survival rating. Just look at this design can you imagine being struck by another vehicle traveling as little as 30 miles an hour? I guarantee you each person in the vehicle would suffer some serious injuries regardless of the point of impact.
Not your mistake. MDI avoids mentioning the pressure the tanks need and talk about refilling at garages on their promo videos leaving out the bit (if they had a huge 4500psi air compressor). You have to read the technical pages on the websites to get a handle on it. They used to have more details and test reports but they were so pathetic they have dropped them
The technical page on MDIs website turns French half way through. But i was aware that you can charge it at home yourself, using your own air compressor, which takes longer but still...
Tell you what I'll pull all my negative comments about MDI air cars if you provide ONE link to an INDEPENDENT TEST (note TEST) that confirms MDI's lies opps claims.
Start with googling rexresearch negre and look at the dates promised
Hahaha ... how brain amputated one has to be to think that this shitty compressed air stupidity solves any energy problem??? Ah, because this shit doesn't emit CO2 when driving??? Ah, and who or what compresses the air??? Really, how brain amputated one needs to be.
And please, this shit is certainly no 'new technology' or "smart invention", but the latest rubbish from France that does not work. Please, Frenchies, do us a favor and cultivate wine!
Will these cars run in sub-zero temperatures? And what are they like on hills?

Wow it's a little slow but it uses virtually uses no energy. It would take 25 cents to fill at a gas station or allmost nothing at home.

And you calculated this how? or did you just believe the tripe MDI spout.
If you need to fill a dive tank, and this toy has two of them, how much would a dive shop charge??
Why do you think it will be nearly free for an airpod??
fizzguts 2 years ago
Sorry I thought this ran off a typical air tank that you could fill up virtually anywhere. My mistake.

That uses a lot of electricity much more than and electric vehicle and thus is really expensive
