  • Zsamila, Thank you for your comments. This posting was never intended to spark some of the poor comments that have been received. I went through and just deleted the most inappropriate language. It has been three years since I posted it and I still enjoy listening to this gentleman and his talent.

  • Why is everyone fighting where this beautiful instrument came from? The fact is that many traditional instruments were used and adopted by countries all around the Middle East and no one should argue on where its from. You should just be thankful of such an amazing instrument that can bring out such indescribable and beautiful emotion. Music is universal. Asi shad keghetstig yerk eh:) Shad shnoragalem:) Gardsesne sirdud ga nevakegor, Bravo

  • @draculaorxan Your mother must be so proud of your highly developed reasoning. Did she teach you to talk like that? Such language speaks to the user's intelligence, regardless of which "side" you think you represent.

  • Kamanchah is persian....

  • Eshkhemed !!!!!!!! :D right?

  • So very moving ,,,, beautiful , beyond description !!

  • ya exactly i have a questian for the kamancha if you can ask the kamancha man does do re me or c d e start on the third string

  • and in armenia turks pray in the armenian curch ruins under the cross isnt that offensive to your allah mohamed so thats one evidence that turks are jealous of armenians

  • Thanks for the comments and that you keep this art alive. I would guess that the Turks that committed the atrocities of nearly 100 years ago are all gone now. As for their ancestors that pray on Armenian sacred ground, cut them a break! They are just trying to cover their bases..

  • Azerbaijans , Turks < stole and used the Armenian tar kamancha saz kanoun santoor so in armenain kakot azeris and turks were jealous of armenians so thats they did geonocide and they were jealous that armenains were smart but turks only knew only how to kill and there is a rule in turky if a girl stands with a guy the parent has to kill their girl so you see how much turks brains are homonid like or if you turks arent smart enough to understand that word then instead of homonid , cave men !

  • i play the ''( Armenian) '' kamancha , tar , oud , santor, and saz . Look if the kamancha is iranian then why doesnt the muslim melody match the kamancha not evil turkissh way kemenche kemenche is the laz or black sea one but the round one is Armenian !

  • kamancha Habil Aliyev Azerbajan

  • Actually Karabagh. Only controled by Azerbajan for about 50 years. Armenia before and after.

  • Thankyou for your reply first i did not argue about who invented the kamancha all i said is why turks and Azeri's come to the Armenian sight? as for the kamancha i will do more research. again thank you for your reply and i wish you the best

  • i like to comment on this jamil or whatever his name is it seams what he wrote is his mother tongue and further why do azeris and turks come to Armenian sites? maybe they don't have enough audience on theire sitesi feal sorry for them

  • Wright down Habil Aliev, kamancha and you will see how real professionals are playing on this instrument.People from all over the world come to Mugam Festival held in Baku to listen kamancha. If its really armenian instrument why is it known as azeri or turkish instrument? Why 95% world known masters of this instrument are living in Azerbaijan and North Iran ? And the last: why azeris are playing on kamancha a way better than armenians?

When armenian flag drops, bull shit stops.

  • The Kamancheh is actually a Persian (Iranian) Instrument. It eventually bacame used by the Turks and Armenians.

  • Bull shit

  • Did your mother teach you that language?

  • That's what you are!

  • halala kezi yes ko cawe tanem..

    A master indeed!!!!!!

Bravo, and thank you for this clip.

  • i love this Keman very much

  • beautiful playing. long live this gentelman

  • Its not persian basim2 jan, its from Armenian and Turkish origin.

  • The Kamancha is not not an Armenian instrument. It is a Persian instrument that spread throughout the Middle East, Turkey, Armenia etc.

  • My dear friend, Kamancha is an Armenian instrument....but I don't see the importance of "who invented it"....an instrument is judged by who plays it well....when people listen to famous violonist or famous pianists, do you think anyone cares who invented the violin or the piano????

  • I agree with you but we have to give credit were credit is due. On Wikipedia iThe kamancheh, kamencheh, kamānche, kamāncha or qyamancha (Persian: کمانچه - violinette) is a Persian instrument related to the violint says "

  • If it is Persian and you are right....I stand corrected....I still think it's an amazing instrument if played well....by an Iranian or an Armenian or a Chinese for that matter.

  • I agree it is a very interesting instrument. the Kamancha is very similar to the rababa which is mostly played by Arab bedouins. I myself am partial to the oud which I play.

  • @basim2 your right look Im an Armenian but hes right kamancha or kamnacheh does come from the persian origin and is spread throughout armenia and so on, im not taking sides !

  • jan axper, kenats-d!!
