  • this song is beautiful... and sad... i love palestine ...i love gaza...i love every people in this world... there just no reason to hate each other...

  • Kaanduran66 no i think heaven is ours

and the hell are reserved for u and ur Fucking Pigs Clan Son of Satan !!

  • May God bless you and Palestine!

    Free Palestine, now!

  • May Allah bless you and reward you for your wonderful efforts. Salaam

    FREE PALESTINE (River 2 Sea!)

  • FREE GAZA INSHALLAH!!!!!!

  • Look, if you want to search reasons to hate its really a kids game. In all these years, its not difficult. The point Im trying to make you see is that when you make a blockade and starve people, its only normal they resist and grab every kind of hope they can. I am a woman. And of course, my goals of common resistance, in this world are different. But who am I to judge ? I'm angry, really angry at the whole world, more than just Israel, angry that We brought all this pain and desperation !

  • I believe women are equal of men, even much more important in this world as We not only bear children, but take more time in educating them, showing them the beauty and dreams there is to reach. Helping women is helping the world. My own model of thought if I should name one, stated it beautifully in the beginning of last century. Help the women, and youll help the world, the children, the future. Unicef says it too. I dont know why people love so much to trash the other side.

  • Look I think that never before, Palestinians were so near a kind of union between themselves and I cross my fingers and hope, just now. Youre talking about 1500000 people, living technically in poorer conditions than Guantanamo prisoners, suffering from years of privations, as a simple ticket of change !

Do you know that even children are arrested and in prison ? Do you know that a palestinian child, aged 12 is man enough to be judged like a soldier by Israel military court ?

  • I respect Shalit, his family. And its even easier because he has a name. Palestinian men, women, and children, in Israeli jails havent the luxury of a Name people know. Well of course, some have a name, and these days like others I have another reason to hope.

  • And for the harm some do to others, lets say that Shalit is a soldier, yes, and has the right to be respected. Yes. Like innocent civilians Must be respected too ! There are men, women, and children who are tortured put to silence, jail or killed. Not only innocents, but were unarmed, dreaming of peace. And I cannot accept that OUR eyes were blind, or full of lies ! I'm above attacking silly Israelis or Palestinians. I'm mad, angry at our silly brains ! The only way out is a common dream.

  • But you're right on 1 point. Yes, Israel is free... Free to kill, harm, silence, hurt, hunger, children, civilians, peaceful people. Free, like a spoiled child to do as it wish. And everybody must close their eyes. And who cares, huh, if the Palestine Yasser Arafat dreamed of, this laic independant free Palestine is only a serie of crumbs ? Who ? Palestinian people. So don't you dare attack the way Palestinian society try to survive the terrible ordeal put on them.

  • PEACEFUL PEOPLE? Are you WELL?

Listen jackass, you couldn't be more delusional if you tried.

Honestly, do you have ANY education? Do you follow different news sources for your information, or is all you're interested in is exonerating terrorist organizations and slandering Israel?

  • Even Olmert stated 3 days ago that life of Palestinians would remain like it is, closed, difficult, painful, blocked as long as Shalit would not be free. As you know there is not only 1'500'000 prisonners, having less right than Guantanamo prisonners, in Gaza, but 9'000 prisonners in Israeli jails. And 6 children, aged 12, 13and 15 were arrested for throwing stones.

My source, for saying life for Palestinian is a shame is Mr. Olmert... sorry, I can't find better source.

  • Then why won't they release him?

You know why. I know why. Hamas knows why.

Hamas knows that Palestinians are better for their cause as victims, not citizens who can challenge their pathology.

  • It's totally silly to say this at a time where information travels faster than postmen. The problem is that now all the world knows that nobody ever again can harm anybody without news traveling faster than some embargos, blockade or else some people would like to put on goods not only for the stomach but for the mind too ! Like it or not, nobody is anymore above any law. We'll see to that. Time of impunity to terrorize, to kill, to harm is over.

  • Unless you're in Hamas, or one of the dozens of countries where you can either buy your security or ignore the rest of the world.

Hamas, Hezbollah, Al Quaeda, beware. The world will hold you accountable for your cowardly attacks.

  • ..Release who ???

  • Sgt Shalik was kidnapped from Israel and has been held ever since or his body has.

Israel has offered the release of HUNDREDS of prisoners for him... If Hamas really cared for the Palestinians, why wouldn't they jump at this deal? A few hundred fathers, brothers, sons, uncles, nephews returned for one kidnapped soldier?

Seems pretty obvious to me... Seems like pettiness.

  • (...) It's important to see the general conditions because I don't want to play at this silly game of who began or else, as 1. if there was no Occupation or blockade there would be no problem.

    2. Who broke the so-called "truce" (to use such a name for so dire conditions is a shame in itself) on 4.11.2008 "killing 6 Hamas gunmen" ?

  • You DO know that Hamas was firing rockets long before Israel went after those terrorists, right?

There is no blockade - and there is NO blockade of humanitarian aid, only on illicit materials and weapons.

So obviously many of the aid materials are being syphoned or diverted AFTER it gets past the checkpoints.

  • Once again, the main provocation is the state of Gaza more or less permanent blockade which is a crime in itself. Don't you see that the most horrible thing is that we could take images one year ago, 5 years ago... and it's always the same story. Only the wrinkles in the border of eyes are getting deeper... Why are people so blind ? No food, no medicine... This is an every day provocation for Gaza. Checkpoints and settlers in West Bank are the other permanent provocations. (,,,)

  • There are millions of Palestinians that dream to live in peace and whose voice are violently silenced, soo others, like you, or me, can gloat about Peeeeeace, or make theories about so-called "right" to kill and all. When are people like you going to listen to the Voices of Reason ? And really Phil ... like the song says, it takes 2 to tango.

    listen to the song...

  • You know the entire concept of taking two sides to fight punishes the defender and rewards the aggressor.

In this case, the aggressor is clearly Hamas, who continually provoked Israel by firing rockets during a ceasefire until Israel just couldn't take it any longer.

The reason why people attack Israel over their actions is because Israel is a free society, where Hamas kills dissenters.

  • I would do what the Palestinian Authority tries to do, make an appeal for all the Palestinian forces to joign together...

I think that Hamas can make a point which will keep its head up in playing the national card a bit more, than the islamist card. I hope that Palestinian people can forgive one another, and I believe it will happen because the situation is simply above any human power.

56% of Gaza are children. It's a richness. A reason to dream.

  • And yet all Hamas does is look upon those children as future soldiers and bomb victims.

  • Now, as we talk, they have NO food, NO medicine in Gaza, and in West Bank, they have to put their nails in their hands, and see how their culture (soil and human) is destructed so some people coming from outside, can "return" after 2000 years or I don't know how many years, in newly constructed villages ! Even if it means for Palestinians to live under tents, with the old key of their grandad as decoration. The nerve of it is so great that I wouldn't judge them if they lost their nerves.

  • Hamas STOLE food, medecine, and blankets from a UN aid depot that was supposed to go to civilians.

Hamas STOLE international aid money and spent it on bunkers and rockets.

  • They turned it back, and you know the capitals you put make me laugh... a little bit, I mean. I'm telling you about lives STOLEN, lot of territories STOLEN, and hope, STOLEN, and Innocence of children, nights were you can close your eyes, homes, father, mother, brother, sister, families, school, love, tenderness, LIVES, STOLEN and you talk about blankets.I'm not sure we share the same values. sorry. Too easy to put the blame on the other side.

  • Listen, if Hamas actually cared for the Palestinians, they would stop hiding in hospitals, schools, and appartment blocks.

It's that simple. Israel isn't 100 per cent innocent, but they have repeatedly offered money and land in exchange for peace.

That is a FACT. If you truly believe what you claim to believe in, you'd have to side with the side that has always been willing to negotiate.

  • Israel has never negiotiated anything, that's the main problem. And this way to take and make people who would like to negociate pass for fools, (only see the result, every time) is what kills Palestinians. One way or another. It's so despairing. This is Fact number One...

  • WHAT?

    WHAT?

I can't believe you just said that!

    TWO WORDS: OSLO ACCORDS.

Israel gave EVERYTHING Arafat asked for AND MORE, and he refused saying that he could never convince his people to accept it.

Israel has ALWAYS been ready to negotiate.

I suggest you do a little more research before you make a blanket statement like that.

Hell, even at Camp David Israel was willing to give most of what was asked!

  • Oslo ? Oh don't talk about them. I cried in front of my TV, so much I was happy for Palestinian and Israelis ! Yeah of course, they shook hands, and it was said that the situation would remain as it was waiting for something new... Nearly the day after, colonisation began (illegal of course, violating not only the common law, but the "spirit of Oslo") Between 1993 and 2000, a real frenzy : a bit less than 100'000 new settlers in West Bank, and a lot of them around Jerusalem.

  • I think it's more like a kind of... theft. In 2000 Haaretz (israeli newspaper) had the courage to open a debate saying simply, well, friends, if we want peace, we have to sacrify the settlers. Since Oslo, there is 4 times more colonies. Oslo is the biggest -one of them - comedy you can find. It's no matter to smile, in fact, because it hurts like hell Palestinians who simply feel deceived, and ... kind of silly, to have believed in Israel, in negociating.

  • Listen, all Arafat or Fatah or Hamas would have to do is AGREE TO ISRAEL'S RIGHT TO EXIST, STOP FIRING ROCKETS, SUICIDE BOMBERS, ETC.

FUCK. You CAN'T be THIS stupid!

Israel has been willing to remove the settlers, but only on the condition of peace from the Palestinians.

If the Palestinians don't want peace, then they can't expect Israel to just willingly hand over land that will be turned in rocket launching pads against them.

  • Arafat clearly stated he recognized Israel. Have you ever looked to a map ? There is Israel, more or less 80% of the 100% of Palestine. And there is Occupation on the 20% remaining (Oslo)... nowadays it represents more or less 10% for Palestinians. So from 1947 (6%) to today, everything was reversed. And still... Palestinian, clearly, don't say they want to break the 80%, Israel, but they want their part ! Is it a game for you ? Do you realize how many people, children just died ?

  • NO. YOU ARE WRONG. Hamas refuses to acknowledge Israel's right to exist.

Those children would still be alive if Hamas wasn't so hell-bent on sacrificing them by continually attacking Israel and hiding in hospitals, schools, and apartment blocks.

  • Last time somebody let fall the gard, they were 50% eaten. Don't play with things like that, Hamas acknowledged Israel verbaly. For the children, how do you explain that a jackass like me knew what would happen and that the Mossad could not imagine the situation. It's cold blooded murder. How can you separate people from an armed wing, while letting them all together, like white and yellow of the same shell and shelling them ?

Of course Hamas should have stood like bottles on the wall...

  • Verbally? When it STILL has the annihilation in its constitution? It STILL believes that Jews have to be wiped from the entire Earth, again, STILL in their constitution.

Hamas shouldn't be hiding among women and children. They do it on purpose. Israel has to respond to the attacks...

If Hamas cared about its citizens, they wouldn't force Israel to respond.

  • Arafat REJECTED Oslo!

So why shouldn't Israel continue building its country?

Obviously you just want to blame Israel for Palestinian woes without actually doing any kind of research or impartial and objective evaluation.

Israel is a fact of life. It's either going to continue or it's going to be irradiated to the point where no one can live there.

    DEAL WITH IT.

Time to quit living in the past.

  • Why shouldn't Israel continue building ... ? Simply because it's a violation of every international law + UN resolutions + is unfriendly + provocative + last but not least : sad. A logic of war's politic. No... I really don't want to blame Israel, it's not all an objective in my life, but I hate unjustice, and this is not right. Arafat, Palestinians were put in front of a twisted deal, the paper being violated by what happened on the soil. Making fools of people you deal with is a shame. Always.

  • Internation law? UN Resolutions? You mean the same resolutions that champion China and Iran for respecting human rights?

The only fools are here are people like you who only view the situation through one prism. Israel has shown a willingness to destroy the settlements in the past.

However those settlements were destroyed for peace, which Hamas/Hezbollah/etc then violated.

  • International Law ? One side is the Occupying Force, the other side is people from the Occupied Territories.

Because after the 2nd war, people realized, that it was kind of human to resist the occupation, and to prevent collective punishments, and else, there were the Geneva Conventions IV. (number III is for war prisonners, Guantanamo prisonners are more protected than palestinians civilians !) You may not, according to these texts put your own population for instance on occupied land...

  • Occupying? NO. Countries have the right to self-defence and that means that sometimes they have to send their armies into aggressor territory. That's legal.

You only want to slander Israel without looking at Hamas' responsbility for all those casualties.

Israel has a right to defend itself. Hamas and Hezbollah are dedicated to its eradication. What would you do?

  • Israel is occupying undue territories.

    It's a fact.

If you steal my car, do you believe you can then talk about self-defence ?? Again, I'm not talking about ISRAEL, but on the territories of GAZA and WEST BANK which are OCCUPIED, with Settlers.

    I can't be clearer.

  • And Israel has removed some settlers in previous peace agreements!

But when those agreements are violated, the impetus to remove them disappears.

So, if I took possession of your car because you keep driving through my fence, then all you'd have to do is stop driving through my fence and you'd get your car back.

    I can't be clearer.

  • Excuse me, but have you ever looked at a card ? West Bank has been colonized like traces of oil in water. In my playlist I have a film showing the problem. Imagine, tomorrow, between your village and the next one a real city in the middle. And a wall around your village, checkpoints from one point to another...

West BanK is full of settlers, and violent ones

Gaza is like a closed prison, where people play Steve McQueen's"Papillon".

Israel violates Palestinian land. This tiny rest of land.

  • You know... this silly reversed logic makes me tired. I mean it's like the tunnels. If people could have imported normal things, usefull things from the normal way, why would they have sort of tunnels ? And now they are bombed because it can be used for arms. When the logic clearly shows where the problem lays on the chain, I think like a lot of people, that it's time to see above. But of course, when the ideal is to leave things get rotten, your logic seems ... logical

  • All Israel has ever wanted was to exist in peace. It has been attacked over and over again. It can't be expected to reward aggression by giving land won by the blood of their soldiers.

Simply put, the Palestinians could have peace if Hamas, Hezbollah, and all the other anti-Jew voices were silenced.

  • UN Resolutions are another aspect we, International Community must stop using for the same, every time. Either the Right is for all, is Fair, and represent All, or it's bogus papers ! They are seldom voted, and when they are they're like a bad joke !! But people everywhere must learn about the system, learn how they can act in their country to prevent the double standard that prevails in this world. It's a shame.

I'm really not attacking Israelis, here, but we, the bloody outsiders that look.

  • Give what ?

Israël plays on a paranoid sentiment, (they will our destruction) while the only thing that keeps being destructed is Palestinian homes, lands, (olive trees)... and lives. And possibility to coordinate all this crumbs (more or less 10% of what was Palestine). Sorry but only the words Oslo Accords has a way to make me laugh nervously.

  • You know, I've read your posts and it's bloody obvious you just don't care about reason or fact. You just want to blame Israel and the Jews. That's it. That's all you want to do.

Listen jackass, the simple fact remains that Israel isn't going anywhere so until the Palestinians decide they want to live and coexist peacefully, they can't expect Israel not to defend itself.

  • Palestinians aren't going anywhere, so until Israel decide it stops destructing Palestinians gardens, economic life, homes ... FAMILIES, lives, HoPe... there won't be hope. It's simply unfair to say that it's Palestinian people who're agressive. But of course, letting the situation go rotten is all benefice for Israel. In the meanwhile, it's allways a bit more hope that dies, as people, a bit more desperation that grows. But of course, as long as there is impunity for Israel, why stop ?

  • Do you call living under constant threat of annihilation "impunity"?

  • I call destroying homes, people's lives, annihilation of palestinian economic tissues, social links, etc... the fact that there is NO Palestinian child who didn't suffer a major trauma, sadness, a terrible situation for Palestinian people. There is a terrible impunity as situation gets every year a little more desperate, and bad.

  • If Hamas cared for the children, they wouldn't hide among them.

It is a tragedy, but inflicted by Hamas.

  • You DO know that there have always been Jews living in that part of the world, right? You DO know that Jewish immigration was initially encouraged by wealthy Muslims because they thought the education and industry that the Jewish immigrants would bring would be highly profitable...

  • Of course I know that in 1947 30% of the population was jewish, they held 6% of the land. It was so beautifully mixed that even the plan of 1947 thought of an international status for Jerusalem. And I know that what messed all this region is Suez canal, 1850, industrialisation, need of roads, colonisation (against Ottomans) and 1882... and some plan of a national home for jewish people, at a time they thought of Uganda. Weizmann, Balfour...

  • It was so highly "profitable" for Palestinians, that as Tom Seguev, israeli historian stated, Israel made a retroactive law saying more or less : if you were not here (chased, or village Deir Yassine or else razed) between 1947-1949... too bad for you... You have no more rights. Ta-daaa.. Profitable ? Please... Look at the cards. How can anybody in his right mind imagine to organise someting on these kind of crumbs ? At the origin, it was a sliced bread. Then, 1967 : 2 slices. Now, it's crumbs.

  • You couldn't be more wrong!

It WAS - still IS - profitable because there are ARABS/MUSLIMS living IN Israel, as FULL citizens, voting rights, even Knesset Representatives!

How could that happen if there weren't some Muslims who thought they could have a better life living in Israel, amongst the Jews and now Christians as well, than grabbing a gun because some Mullah needs a scapegoat?

  • Don't mix Palestinian people, living in what should be 45% (1947 oups, ok we forget) 20% (Oslo oups what happens) 10% ?!? of Palestine... and Israeli citizens, which should, yes, have all the same rights, whatever their colours, race or religion, like in any democracy. It's only normal. The Israeli citizens are composed of the people who were present during Israel creation * + of course all the people who made their "return", from Russia or Ethiopia, whatever...

  • * There are wonderful people, if such people had existed a bit more in 39-45, world would have been different, "Jews for Justice for Palestinian" who made a rapport showing that there was a terrible discrimination for these Arabs, citizen of Israel, too. But of course, Gaza or West Bank is terrible.

  • Anyone who wanted to stay in what was to become Israel could have - only those who chose to fight were expelled.

You can't seriously believe that there shouldn't be some penalty for choosing the wrong side.

No one can be that stupid.

  • Call me stupid, you know, depending on whom tells me words, it even may be a compliment. Even peacefull people are attacked by soldiers, every day, by settlers, every day. But I think that it would help that International Community stop treating Israel like a spoiled kid. It would help Israelis, too. as Palestinians.

Everybody would be forced to stop. And I have the impression you looked too many bad films. Laws are not made for nothing. Resolutions voted and violated are our collective shame.

  • Not all laws and resolutions are createdly equally or deserve conforming to.

  • And sorry if I have other classics than Jackass, but you're wrong mainly in ONe big point : If I am writing like a mad woman on a silly chain of music it's not because I have a problem with Israel, Jews or I don't know what else, it's simply that I have a Big, enormous Problem with the International Community which to my eyes should budge their big Ass and apply the Laws that exist.

Signed : Jackass (huh, me I don't care names)

  • Occupation, nothing to be paranoid of, it talks about villages of settlers constructed in the middle of Palestinian life, like a oil in water, it grows, and leaves Palestinian hostages of their own land. Like an eagle'snest above them, it breaks their community life. It's a total violation of Geneva's Convention, to put one's people on an occupied territory. Even now, today for instance, israel took soil from Palestinians.

  • it goes something like this. you hate hamas (that not all muslims support). fast forward, they get elected (democratically). us, israel the whole west blocks major supplies, boycotts and end up crippling the economy. kids starving because hamas won? who gives a shit, people wouldve voted them off in next few years if they were bad. its thing hypocritical two face shit that people are tired of. hamas was just one more reason for people to take anger out on palestinains.

  • You know that Egypt also closed its border with Gaza...

    Why?

Because Hamas is the enemy, not Israel.

  • and oh by the way, hamas got elected a few years ago. so what about the decades of occupation before that? pleasse open your eyes, its not 1964 anymore. thanks for ur time.

  • Occupation? What occupation?

You can't expect Israel to just submit to being attacked without defending itself.

Very simply put, Hamas is the reason why Gaza is poor - they STOLE hundreds of TONNES of food, medecine, and blankets from a UN Aid Station!

They don't care about Gaza, or those who are suffering, they only care about death.

  • so u r way older than me, but your information doesnt go beyond hamas. seems like you need to learn some more about history. no one is talking about hamas here. it is all about the occupation. hamas just got elected at a bad time. and you wonder why hamas would get elected if everything was good for the palestinians? they were tired of plo and all the other parties just sell out for a few hundred dollars. oh and no one says arabs are angels. not all blame goes to israel.

  • Yes, you're right. I'm not disagreeing with you, but when you look at most of these Gaza vids, they are celebrating Hamas as well.

I can't understand why, because Hamas causes more deaths among Palestinians than Israel does.

I know the region's history, and all I can say is that Israel has offered land and money for peace. If more Muslims cared about the Palestinians, then maybe that money and land would be accepted.

  • ??? Of course there is an occupation !

Gaza is like a open-air prison, and Israel demolished palestinian homes to surround them with a wall. And the West Bank is made of a multitude of pieces, surrounded by walls to. The occupation means having more or less 50% of the silly 20% remaining to Palestinians. It means being hostages of settlers, sometimes very violent. It means having to pass throught checkpoints to go from point A to B. Are you kidding ???

  • Are you?

  • And instead of talking of Hamas stealing blankets, talk about Gaz, millions stolen from Gaza. Once the priorities of the "deal" are clear, everything is more simple, you know ? I will never have the arrogance to believe I know better than people of a place. The only thing I can say, as I really hope for a real Peace, is to mention, very bad dysfunctionnement of some minds (UN included). Every time people think they can simply put the blame on the other side, problems remain...

  • You call it arrogance? I call it emotional detachment. The people who live in Gaza face terrible daily lives - Hamas has done nothing to improve their lives, limits their access to the outside world, has a vested interest in keeping them poor, desperate, and angry. Propoganda and gunmen make sure that all the blame for this misery goes to Israel. But outside the reach of Hamas, we can evaluate each side.

  • Thank you Karim for sharing this song.. keep it up.

    God Bless U

  • Thank you all for your kind comments!

  • If that is how things are, we are diminished as a civilised society. For what happens in Gaza is the defining moment of our time, which either grants the impunity of war criminals the immunity of our silence, while we contort our own intellect and morality, or gives us the power to speak out. For the moment I prefer my own memory of Gaza: of the people's courage and resistance and their "luminous humanity", as Karma Nabulsi put it.

  • good wordes thans alot
