  • Crazy..

  • Welcome to Obama's ulitmate dream.

Though Homefront is more like what Obama wants.

  • (See previous post first)

From there, the states would need to seceede and another civil war would be worth fighting if the federal govt doesn't let the states seceede.

  • Don't be surprised if the Occupy Wall St. nuts stir up a lot of violence during the election. A Congresswoman already hinted @ declaring marshall law thus postponing an election keeping an unpopular president in power like the game. He declares emergency powers and never calls it off. Stays president past his term limit in 2016. From there we have a dictatorship overhtrowing the republic like Rome.

  • My point is that for most of Bush's term he had at most a slight Congressional majority, highest with the 109th Congress of 2005-2007. It was the 110th Democratic Congress, Bush's final Congress, that I think left the most lasting and damaging impression on the economy that Obama would inherit, with the increase in the minimum wage and the forcing of banks to lend to people who would default on their loans being directly ascribed to the 110th Democrat Congress who pushed for such policies.

  • A NEW HOPE '08?

The idea of civil unrest over the economy is getting to the boiling point.

The likelihood of the 2012 election being a sham.

Texas still considering the idea of secession as a last resort?

The irony this game was made in 2005 and ahead of its time? - Priceless

  • If obama didnt pull this "divided nation" speech, our nation would have turned into this.

  • If you look at history america is do for another civil war and this time i dont thaink its going to be a race card i thaink the rebels the yancks the affrican-americans the spanish will all get tired of seeing this great nation fall apart and the goverment rules and laws being part of the problem. The problem is not the election procsses, the problem liyes in the fact that all these book smart politishions are just that book smart they fail to realizy not every thing on paper works in life.

  • I wish someone would make a version of this game based on what is really going on, and use real historical precedents in the production of it.

  • Awesome and original concept, but I guess it didn't turn out that well. Shame.

  • Why can't they just secede and leave each other the fuck alone? And live happily every after without that corpulent paristic government in DC that consumes one-third of the economy with its taxes?

  • Wait wait if they just nuked DC radiation would be to high to sart rebiulding

  • for this to be real.... is... scary....

    1. congress puts the most unpopular president to office. Obama

    2. terror attacks in america have risen to more than 29% in america since obama

3.west coast has put imagration law. Arizona

    4. obama down casts the law in arizona.

    the rest is to come......

  • @MichaelBrinkley118 The problem with that is that Obama was the most popular canidate of 2008, and because of the damage done from 2000-2008, anyone who would be elected in would have faced the same problembs, a braking system combined with a group who's only goal is to stop everything, and so far that group has sucseded. I think you know who that group is, and it isn't democrats (but if the right had won, they would be).

  • @dave19941000 That damage that you attribute to Bush (who wasn't President in 2000) was also in collaboration with the Congressional Democrats who had either a tie representation (2001-2003) to a 3-11 member minority in the Senate (including the independents who caucused with them) from 2004-2006, and a 9 to 29 member House minority from 2001 through 2006. After the 2006 Democratic Congressional victory, Republicans had a 2 member Senate minority and a 37 member minority in the House.

  • @MichaelBrinkley118

This game was released during the Bush administration and actually can be just as easily applied to him, a disputed election (florida,) a reelection that was a mockery of our system of government (not saying that it was rigged so much that Kerry was a joke of a canidate.) Other then that, awesome game concept, makes me wish I grabbed it when I had the chance.

  • @MichaelBrinkley118 Most unpopular president? Ha! Obama's average approval rating (A lot of different sources have different approval ratings) is around 50%. That's higher than Bush, Carter, Truman, Nixon, and that's higher than Ford. There have been plenty of worse presidents. For example, Franklin Pierce and James Buchanan. That's the problem with a lot of people nowadays. They know little of history and have a short memory. They blame the guy in charge rather than the source, and overreact.

  • There is no more republicans and democrats, its liberals and conservatives now.

  • @JonThePilot To bad it's not like that, because neither party stand for anything in the interest of the people, one is just for unions, the other corporations, but neither the people.

  • my god i hope this doesnt happen the american stand united they cant fight eahc other again especailly with the same weapons. what happened in 19th century was because of balck slaves and abraham lincoln.

  • @sgtdanny69148 please do not support laissez faire capitalism, this is abuse, our founding fathers wanted a strong central government and national banks to protect us from intl banksters theft

  • so does any one kow anything about the movie that is to be made about htis

  • if this were to ever happen america would be gone forever there are to many political groups in america that would try to tak control america would be nothing but a mermory to the rest of the world

  • No, if this were to happen it would be enemy militias, people who like and dislike the government

  • fuck left and right, liberty for all

  • A 2nd American civil war if it were to happen anytime soon would likely take the form liberals vs conservatives. Conservative would have the major advantage in their population base being more dispersed. Enable them to simply nuke the concentrated urban liberal populations, making the war a very lopsided matter. Not to mention the additional advantage conservatives hold over liberals in holding most of the nations arms, and dominate most of police and military forces.

  • That's retarded. The left-right paradigm is about as phony as tofurkey. When proverbial sh!t hits the fan, American's are much more likely to side with their friends, family, and neighbors, regardless of political affiliation. The war will probably be geographically dispersed (as is nearly ANY civil war) or perhaps a pogrom where government troops hunt down civilians and roving militias.

A "pro-life" vs. "pro-choice" scenario is laughable, unless the war is fought with nerf guns.

  • Your right in terms of it being a Mix bag, and in the almost inevitable fact that regardless of how it starts in the end we will eventually root out our neighbors to be said to control a particular region whether that rooting out be by violence or relatively peaceful concession. Then you will still have a war between the resulting states-groups. That is of course assuming we are not ALL of mind to simply leave each other alone at that point, cut our losses and go our separate ways.

  • Yeah, but in the areas you don't hit, they would have a brutal insurgency. If that were to happen though, I could see the EU sending peacekeepers, because they would most likely sympathize with liberals.

  • The words home rule is a poor choice of words to uses as we already have home rule, and in the absence of a federal government thats all we have, by default.

The States created the federal government not the other way around. If the federal government either ceases to act or exist the full Solvency and power defaults back to the State governments and people from which it came, intrinsically.

  • I never got the primus of this game, why would we be waging war to conquer the rest of the USA if we just declared independents from the same?

Insolently Lincolns Words, a house divided against it can not stand, are true thats why moved out into our own house in declaring independents, problem solved.

  • guys guys why cant we be frinds?

  • Paramount Studios should make a film based on this.

  • @coreyteen13 mm ther are plans of making a film about it... walt disney is going to do that xD

  • @coreyteen13

They ARE making a film of this apparently. Jerry Bruckheimer is producing it to be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, script's by J. Michael Straczynski

  • NWO game lawlz ignorant fucks America is growing closer and closer to Revolution each day, but back on topic This is one of the best Turn Based/RTS Strategy games out there, nothing like Nuking your own Home town

  • I beleive that nuking Washington is America's best hope.

It will force things back on on state and local governments... this is where American Democracy exists to this day, although it has been in hiding/or dormant.

  • There´s no point in nucking D.C. ingame. It is already a smoldering ruin without any strategical value.

  • I'm not talking about the game...

    I'm talking about reality.

NUKING WASHINGTON IS OUR BEST HOPE.

  • you are mentally retarded aren't you.

  • Nope, just an idealist.

Washington is black hole and is doing nothing good for our country, just a home for coporate whores and their zionist facsist allies.

Hey why don't you read a fucking book before you start insulting people. Do you really need to make yourself feel better that way?

  • Why don't don't you think before wishing the deaths of thousands of innocent people.

  • Some innocents must be sacrificed in order to ensure the saftey and freedom of the majority.

  • well if you believe that then go sacrifice yourself.

  • yeah, good idea, I'll get right on it.

I'm sure there are many other people on youtube you should be lecturing anyways.

    Sic Semper Tyrannus.

  • to qoute thomas jefferson:

"those who would give up a few rights for a little security would deserve neither and lose both"

  • that wasnt jefferson that was franklin

  • actually you are just dumb because the "corporate whores" as you call them are not dominating the government

if they were would they let you call them that?

you are just one of the many "non-conformists" that think that by insulting the government they are cool and they do not even realize that they live in a country that lets them feel that way, unlike many others.

before i get insulted, i vote democratic, am against the war and i didnt like ex-president bush

  • uh huh, and you actually believe there's any difference between the democrats and republicans?

both parties have pushed america to the brink. the government has become afoul and needs to be taken down.

We are only free to consume, and we are only as equal as our wallets allow us to be.

But I'm not going to insult you, Insulting people who think differently from you is for people who can't think for themselves.

    cheers.

  • @translucentorb,

Exactly. Republicans and Democrats are just two different sides of the same coin. There are a few good ones out there though but with how corrupt everything is, it's going to take a lot to make any kind of difference.

  • God bless the NWO.

if any of you sheep think this is far fetched, think again. Hows that american idol and NFL draft treating you? low lives.

  • NWO game.

  • looks fun
