@BlackmanTheJock when you uninstall it through control panel aka windows it can leave some evidence that you had the program installed once before and when you reinstall adobe tries to see if that was the case looking for these things hidden in your registry.... kinda more complex than that but hope it helps haha

Running a Mac and having trouble in Terminal after typing "sudo -s". Put in password, then "sh disable_activation_osx" but Terminal says "No such file or directory", even though I do have the disable_activation file downloaded and it's openable. Unsure how to use the 2nd option (posted below). Thanks for your help!

./disable_activation_osx( make it executable chmod 755 disable_activation_osx you do that from the folder where disable_activation_osx is. (just copy it anywhere on your hdd)
