@SBeller92 this was before the arcane blast mechanics where changed to stacking dmg...at that time was only haste for AB up to 3 stacks, no other buffs.

watch anonymage's video again, and look at the top right of the video, you will see the rage buff. Why do you think that was strictly warsong? all his attacks were when he had rage buff from the map which gives about 30-50% more damage added to the arcane power. This guy has true real time damage without map buffs.

not a bad video, except that your alliance but i wont start anything over that, the only problem is i watched anonymage's video right before where he gets constant 13k crits and probably some of the biggest crits ull ever see so this was a huge step down lol

The reason those clips where so huge is because the other mage had another buff on him. : ) 13K isn't that big for an Arcane mage when things are stacked. Like Arcane Blast is the only thing I seen hit 13k on the video. Without any extra buff for more damage my arcane blast (when stacked) crits are about 11K. My mage hit 80 a few days ago, btw. I have a few epics but nothing fsgdfg amazing yet. It's normal damage for a full Arcane mage when buffed up like that. Wasn't that big =p

Arcane mages take some sort of skill lol, but most mage vids are just mini clips of POM,Arcane Barrage, First blast .. dead. I mean use some other spell then just making clips or 3 shot kills..

Heh Im Frostfire raid spec but I'm thinking about going Arcane again with my newest spec but I won't POM Frostfire I'd pom Pyroblast lol cause I can just slow them, but you can POM FFB with a lot of dmg if it crits and ur specced arcane/frost... I critted like 11.6k Highest with FFB Arcane/frost spec :P

arcane mages aren't OP at all. I even think they don't hit enough. Have you recently played a mage on high level? In this kind of games, mages should do incredible dmg. This huge dps compensates the amazingly weak defense they have. But atm almost every class can hit at least 70% of a mage's dmg. However their defense is 20 times better. (literally 20 times) so when another class can get closer then 5-10 yards, they can kill a mage in only 3 seconds.

I dont know about the skilled comment though. Arcane is the tree that takes the least skills and everything you see here can be macroed into 1 key.
