The Bugatti Veyron may be the biggest waste of Power, The Mclaren has a V12 Engine the Bugatti Has a W16 Engine and 4 turbochargers, just a shame that Bugatti didn't use a lighter and better looking body for that 1000+ HP engine.

I doubt that if McLaren made a new F1 that it could go faster than the Veyron, not because the Veyron is the best but because, as of right now, there aren't any road going tires that can last at 268 for any amount of time. When TopGear made this film the Ultimate Aero TT was still the fastest in the world. Obviously things would be different if they made a more recent film. there is nothing fake there. though the F1 beat the veyron off the line by a bit, that's just the nature of a big motor and alot of turbo power. That veyron needs some room to stretch it's legs unlike the F1 that is all motor.. the cars make power in different ways, therefore excelerate different ways.. honestly, for the power difference i'm surprised this was as close as it was in the end.. But I guess the awd and weight of the veyron own it a bit in the long end..

When the Bug is taken to LeMans and wins first time out, can lap a track as quickly as 1000bhp should , I'll be impressed. OK you CLEARLY have no idea abou engines. Yes they could have got more power from it (and they have done) but if they gave it 2000bhp that engine would have lasted no time at all. The Vayron was intended to be driven as much as possible, aka the engine couldnt explode if it wasnt serviced every 5 yards.

the aero has wheelspin problems, which limited the 0-60 to 2.57s.
they also stupidly set 1st gear to redline at 58mph, which means the guy proly had to waste another 0.5s shifting again.

there is nothing fake there. though the F1 beat the veyron off the line by a bit, that's just the nature of a big motor and alot of turbo power. That veyron needs some room to stretch it's legs unlike the F1 that is all motor.. the cars make power in different ways, therefore excelerate different ways.. honestly, for the power difference i'm surprised this was as close as it was in the end.. But I guess the awd and weight of the veyron own it a bit in the long end..

info: the SSC Aero is actually the fastest street legal car in the world. nevertheless the bugatti is an unique car. the bugatti just makes poor 253mph - the areo makes great 257mph :-)

When the Bug is taken to LeMans and wins first time out, can lap a track as quickly as 1000bhp should , I'll be impressed. Technical marvel that it is, it's far too heavy to be anything other than a straight line hero. F1 wins in my book. And as money talks, I'll be the F1 will always be the more valuable car.

OK you CLEARLY have no idea abou engines. Yes they could have got more power from it (and they have done) but if they gave it 2000bhp that engine would have lasted no time at all. The Vayron was intended to be driven as much as possible, aka the engine couldnt explode if it wasnt serviced every 5 yards.
