@khutekyd13 I had mine black and this stuff worked and did not damage my hair. You may have to use more than one box depending on how much hair you have.
next time show on the hirdresser wich color you wont dont say just name of the color mean sometig diferent ,if this is realy job of hairdresser or not yours hhaha
this stuff worked pretty good for me...i needed to get out green to dye my hair red...but it smells HORRIBLE!!!! its like rotton eggs x10!!! my friend had to hold my nose while i applied it...but it was a nice alternative to bleach
The claim of "shrinking molecules" is absolute nonsense. Sodium hydrosulfite is a common industrial chemical used to remove dyes from fabrics. It is sold in supermarkets as RIT color remover. It disrupts the structure of dye molecules and prevents them from absorbing light. It really does work to remove color and hair dyes are similar to fabric dyes so it works on these as well.
OMG this is amazing! im buying it today.I was in California last year and went in to audition for the color oops ads. didnt get the part lol but recently I put a semi permanent dye in my hair and it came out burgundy :( im going a pageant next week and need it to be gone! i'll will for sure try it! thank you for showing us
the instructions on the bottle and the instructions in the package contradict each other. for example it says "shake bottle" in the instructions paper, then on the bottle that you must mix it says "DO NOT shake bottle"
@janellle579 It probably means until the mix-in stuff is in it. Because if you shake developer before the color is put in it, the coloring process does not work.
@sunkissdrop- it will turn like an orange coppery color on anyone who uses it because it strips all hair color which also include ur natural hair color unfortunately =/
song is sunny dress by Ma.. on ituens as it says in the credits, also colorOops worked for me when I went red but decided not for me. I did have to use it 2x to get all of the red out.... in was a DEEP red....
Omg please tell me that color oops will work for me. I've read alot of reviews and check em out on you tube but some people say theyre hair turns orange and that's worse in my opinion than they grey ish green tint I have at the moment. I had bleached blonde hair before and tried to put it a darker blonde to match my natural color but it turned grey. Let me know if u think it can help me thanks
I'm about to shoot myself. I had the exact same hair color she has before she put this product on. Seeing her results...I'm jealous. I wish I had known about this product before I dyed my hair almost black........DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't use it as it makes your hair smell like farts for weeks and as for actually working no it didn't do much at all so I wouldn't bother unless you want to walk around smelling like you have a sack of s**t on your head.
Its u dont know what colour u want or just being full of shit really. Go and have a look what a real aubern looks like and u will notice u a bit far off. Maybe its better u stay blond
Well, my black is now a dark brown. My fringe area is a light brown that I haven't seen in years. My hair all over is now different shades of brown, but I'm going to bleach it anyway. Overall it is like, 2 shades lighter. Ehhh.
@xlostwitchx Well of course it didn't take out 100% of the black, but it did get lightened. My fringe area was a very light brown / throughout my hair was different shades of brown. I only used it once, and I feel like I should've used it again before I dyed my hair burgundy. I would recommend it, but buy enough boxes for 2 uses (on 2 different days of course).
I tried this product to correct some way too dark coloring. It worked great! I was expecting to have to recolor my hair afterwards, but the Oops lightened my hair just enough that I didn't need to do anything more to it. God, it reeks somethign awful and my bathroom stunk for two days, but my hair looked great. :)
@MegaC34 I did it at home myself. The kit costs about $8 at the drug store. My hair didn't smell after I rinsed it out but the bathroom did for a few days after, LOL. My hair seemed fine afterwards, not dry or anything at all.
@MegaC34 Kind of a medium to dark brown. I have dark brown hair naturally but when I colored it, it came out almost black. Way too dark. The Color Oops lightened it up about two shades and it looked very natural, not brassy or reddish or anything.
Umm...auburn is red-brown. This is in no way auburn. It looks peachy-blonde to me...I don't know what peachy-blonde is to you, but you ought to have taken a picture so that the lady knew what you actually wanted.
@Canashea Aww :( I don't. I have loooads of happy clients. My gift is that I "know" what my clients want. I pride myself on this and I love my job. Good luck in finding a hairdresser that can change your mind :)
dude DONT use this product. cause i did and all it did was make my hair even more brittle than it already was and it really damaged it!!! other than that, my hair (including its color) is exactly the same!
if you wanted bleach blonde thats what you should have asked for. you asked for peachy blonde and thats what you got (that was not auburn). dont blame the hair dresser for not knowing the names of hair colors. also color oops is just bleach with a weak developer so to the person who asked if it will get out black no it will not.
@jamierocksforlife no it wont make your hair blonde again. all color oops is, is bleach with a weak developer so if anything it will turn it red or orange. getting black out is not easy its a complete color correction. if your going to do it yourself it will take a few bleachings, use 30 vol developer and space it out. you should wait at least 2 or 3 days between bleaching and use a toner.
Ok, so my hair is light-ish ash brown. I got tired of how it looked so I dyed it blond. I dyed it blond 4/5 times.? Well anyway I TRYED to dye it brown again. The result? Almost black. It suddenly got lighter. It faded and now it's blond again. My roots r comin in and it looks really bad. Will this help...? My hair is brown at the top, but blond at the end. Wat do u suggest I do.? :(
@NoahLove34 You have to use good hair dyes and shampoos and conditioners that are specifically for color treated hair and also I suggest you watch xsparkage on youtube she has alot of good tips for color treated hair
I recently ( 2 days ago) dyed my medium/light hair what i thought would be just "dark brown"..it looks BLACK..i really wana get back to my shade!..prior to that tho about a month ago i dyed it light brown...oh how i miss that! Will this take me back to a lighter shade? Does this really work!? Please answer!! thanks!!
Dang, you should have shaken it, it's not mixed.. she just tilted it a few times.. Wow. That is the peachyist blonde hair i've seen by the way, not auburn..
Hey so I have naturally dark brown hair and I dyed it red about 2 months ago, but it's grown and my dark brown roots are fading and the red basically turnned into an orangish color. It's not hooorrible but I reaally want to go back to my dark brown hair, will this product make my hair orange or will it turn it back to my regular dark brown hair?
@crypticTRUTHS odds are it won't return your hair to your virgin color. what it will do is lift the red shade and lighten the hair... then you can dye your hair right after (it says its safe to do on the box) make sure you get a medium brown dye....since your hair may be a little porous if you get a dark brown it may come out too dark. remember you can always add color...but taking away is much harder.
I dyed my hair a darker blonde but now i've dyed it jet black since November will this product take me back to my natural hair color which is a sandy blonde color
Ok so I bleached my bangs, and died them with semipermanent blue MONTHS ago. For some reason it only faded to green but never completly faded, so my bangs are greenish :| i even bleached over it twice and it didnt come out! will this stuff get it out?
Maybe. They say it's not designed for bright funky colors, but it took very bright orange dye out of my hair with no problems. I haven't tried it with blue or green dye though. Good luck!
I let my hair grow out to where I had almost an inch of roots, then I decided to try this stuff. Smells terrible, but I'm now back to a beautiful shiny medium brown. My hair completely matches my roots, and it didn't even damage my hair. I can't believe I didn't have to dye my hair after using this stuff. I highly recommend.
Hey :) you answered a question that ive been looking for the answere too all day. i have about 3-4 inches of roots (blond-ish) and i have dyed dark brown hair, do you think i would get good results?
If it's just been dyed once from your natural color, you're an ideal candidate. If it's been dyed lots of times, it might take more than one attempt to get all the dye out. HTH.
Yay! Glad to hear it worked so well for you! Sometimes I think only the people it didn't work for post comments, I've used it a few times now and it's always worked.
I used this stuff today. It's so awesome. I started out with medium brown hair, and I wanted it a bit darker for winter. The wrong dye was in the box, and my hair came out glowing black/blue.
i dont know whYYY it didnt work for me i did exactly what you did i naturally have medium brown hair and dyed it black..and it didnt do anything at all . i now bought something called color reverse by salerm hopefully this works..any advice?
PLEASE HELP!ok so my natural hair is dark brown and i dyed my hair black and ive been washing it out and its slowley coming out and im scared to try this hair product and it just goes back to black
@paramoure101 dont be afraid to use this product it does nothing bad to your hair. if you use this product you on black hair it will turn to a light redish color, then after that you can dye it to the color you wish.
my natural hair is black, i used permanent red highlights in the past, I tried a similar product to remove the red but it didnt work at all, any idea?
the bright colors are really, really hard to remove with color oops. you should put clairol natural instincts in your hair, in a similar shade to your natural black. it will fade slowly- it's semi-permanent- and eventually the highlighted color will be very close to your original color, after applying temporary dye once every 6-8 weeks or as needed! hope that helps!
HEY! so i dyed my hair black in sept-big oops-anyway it was suppose to wash out in 28 washes but ..it didnt. I am, well i was a dirty blonde n ive been readin a lot about this product n im thinkin of using it but i just want to make sure it'll work SO, if i use this product will it really wash out my black hair and than make it orange so than i can dye it blonde? i'm super scared to do this! any advise would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!! :)
its gonna take u back to ur regular color (natural) dont worry im dirttty blonde too, its great to dye over! i used this product to clear out the rest of my other color that i grew to dislike and it was FABULOUS! 100% GONE. no damage whatsoever. i was a little scared. go ahead and do it.
hey can anyone help me please... i had lightish brown hair it was my natural hair colour and then i dyed it using garnier herbashine dark golden brown but it came out way darker then i had expected and the lighter areas are red its like dark auburn and its ment to last for 6 weeks ...i really want my natural colour back will this do that or will it make it lighter? any ideas gratefully accepted i live in ireland btw so i duno if i can get it here
i live in canada and you can't get it here. just in the U.S.. a friend came back from a trip there and brought me a box of color oops extra strength. it should have worked (was a blonde who went brown), but it didn't. should i message the company or try to get another box?
i went to the salon and got my hair professionaly dyed. i wanted a chocolate brown and i got a black!!! black is impossible to lift from your hair. i tried going over it with another lighter hair dye at home and the only thing that was dyed the lighter color were my roots!! so now i have orange roots and black ends : (. I will be trying this product out.
Hi!!! I'm confused is this to take you back to your natural hair color? cuz I'm looking for something that takes away my blond hair color away to my natural light brown hair? xoxo
Sorry, if you've bleached your hair, it won't return it to its natural color. You'll have to find some dye that's a close match & restore it that way instead.
(Although if you didn't lighten it at all, it will take you back to your natural color :)
Meilin, once you have lightened your hair you can't go back. Going blonde actually removes the pigments from your hair. All you can do is deposit a brown over the blonde.
I have a question? hopelly someone will help me: I use to color my hair like super black , and i try dying it a lighter color but it didn't work, so i want to try COLOR OOPS , do you think i will only need one box or two. I have medium size and thick. I don't know if i should buy one or two boxes.
I dyed my already dyed light blonde hair to a dark mahogany brown a little over a month ago, and now I want it back to light blonde again. Will this take out all the blonde I had underneath too?
Depends; if your hair was already light, it'll return your hair to its natural color. If it's naturally darker & you bleached it light blond, it'll make it blond again - but it'll likely be brassy & need a toner to make it look good again.
I personally prefer a color-depositing shampoo like Clairol Shimmer Lights or L'Oreal Professionel Colorist Collection rather than regular toner, to avoid peroxiding your hair again - no point in damaging your hair more if you don't have to ;)
What will the results be if I use ColorOops on my hair which was bleached to yellow blonde and dyed darker to medium auburn three months ago? I want make the color look like Joan Holloway's hair from Mad Men but went too dark. Will my hair fall out?
It'll take your hair back to the yellow blond color you bleached it to, so you can dye it again.
It's unlikely your hair will fall out from using it, but I highly recommend using a deep conditioning treatment (e.g. VO5 hot oil or L'Oreal Feria Color Moisturizing Treatment) before & after to minimize the risk of breakage.
It didn't damage my hair much more than it was already but after bleaching it light, that's not saying much ;)
I bought this big pot of Queen Helene deep conditioner (it was only $3) so we'll see how that works. Pretty cool that you can buy permanent color remover and deep conditioner for a third of what you pay a hairdresser who usually gets it wrong.
Thanks for this! Cant find it anyways here in Ottawa Canada but have read about it. Wanted it badly and thought it would bring me back to regular virgin hair. NOT! I read in the comments that it just makes hair color less and uneven. Reminds me of when I bleached at home years ago! You dont get a final color. Plus the scab risk and smell? NO THANKS
I swear by this product, took 6 months of black dye right out with one try and no damage at all. EXCEPT for the fact that it automatically triggered the worst athsma attack I have ever had in my life. IF YOU HAVE ATHSMA BE CAREFUL, DON'T BREATHE THE FUMES!
Aside from me almost dying my hair turned great! LOL
That sucks re the asthma attack. Hope you feel better now!
Even for someone like me who doesn't have asthma, it's still pretty noxious. To anyone else intending to use it: make sure you have a window open & plenty of fresh air coming in while you're using this stuff!
I am blonde and dyed my hair dark red, it made 95% of the color come out! However i am sensitive to this product and i ended up with 3 spots of sores on my scalp even though i followed the directions perfectly. I had to wait about 2 weeks before I could dye my hair the correct color.
Also your hair will slowly become a little darker as the molecules that were loosened/shrunk to be washed out, but didn't get washed out slowly reatach and become dark again.
Did you use the regular version or the gentle one? The gentle one is supposed to be much less likely to irritate your scalp... might be good to use next time :)
Where can I get it and how much does it cost in the UK. Also I have brown hair dyed. And have grown my hair out for months. Will it take all the colour out?
As I sit here with this vile liquid on my head, my 9 year old said "They forgot the "P" it should be called Color Poops because that's what it smells like! I have to agree...OMG I hope this is worth it. Imagine rotten vegetables and roadkill in a blender...that's what this smells like.
Sort of. It'll remove all the artificial color molecules in your hair, but it'll still be lighter than it was before - so you'd need to dye it again, if you want it back to your original color.
Would it work on a dark semi permanent hair colour coloured over by a lighter permanent colour?
I have been colouring parts of my hair a dark brown with semi permanent (to cover grey). Recently I decided to go lighter so I used permanent colour (on all my hair + over semi permanent coloured hair). Now some parts of my hair are dark while the rest is about 2/3 shades lighter.
It would probably be a good first step; it sounds like the two dyes really didn't work with one another!
If you remove all the dye, you can at least see what your hair's like underneath all the dye. If it's reasonably even, pick whatever color you'd like it to be, buy some dye and you're set. If it's uneven, either dye it all as dark as the darkest bits, or get the too-dark bits lightened a bit (which is probably best done by a hairdresser :)
Probably not. If the highlights were just bleached, there's nothing to strip 'cos bleaching strips natural color molecules from your hair but doesn't add any artificial ones. Stripping hair removes artificial color molecules only, and since it sounds like you don't have any to remove, there's no reason to do it.
thats what ii thought too but my bfs mom said i would have too and i didnt think i really had 2 so i got my friend to do it instead turned out the right color my friend just really sucked haha thank you tho=)
it didnt get me to my original. first of all it STINKS smells like diarrhea farts, or poop. it does NOT come off your hair. my hair got lighter i was dirty blonde and went to black i used color oops and it worked okay i guess. my hair was brown with REd in it. when i used a colm my hairr got taken off and i guess... it riped a whole bunch of my hair which stinks. But its not a waste of money since it kinda works.
it worked pretty good for me. my hair is naturally a very light brown and over the winter i dyed it black. now since its the summer i wanted to go lighter again and color oops got me back to my exact natural color, even with highlights. i used extra conditioning first and then two days later extra strength. i gotta say the dye really stinks though, not even like ammonia smell but it really stinks, and the smell doesnt go away from your hair or the room in which you colored if its small.
It worked great for me. I'm going to do one more treatment and see what I come up with. My hair is really thick and it got nearly all the black dye out of my hair. I recommend this product.
I bought some of this whilst in America as I had dyed my bleached hair dark red, meaning after a few washes it went pinky!
I used the regular one then a day later, the extra strength. It got nearly all of the red dye out , so I just waited 2 weeks then highlighted my hair again with a cap and now I have blonde hair again.
I really didn't think it would work with my combination of permanent red dye on bleach blonde hair (ask any hairdresser about this disaster combo!)
Does it work like if I dyed my normal platinum hair brown and then black about a month ago???!!!!! D= helppppp asap!!!!!!!! I wanna be blonde again and bleaching isnt an option seeing as my hair is already Natrually extremely thin helpppp
@khutekyd13 I had mine black and this stuff worked and did not damage my hair. You may have to use more than one box depending on how much hair you have.

@pualaxkoalaxhfm You have to wash it out for a long time..

if you wanted bleach blonde thats what you should have asked for. you asked for peachy blonde and thats what you got (that was not auburn). dont blame the hair dresser for not knowing the names of hair colors. also color oops is just bleach with a weak developer so to the person who asked if it will get out black no it will not.
whatsfordisert 1 year ago
did it lighten your hair or did it really bring it back to its original state ?

i dyed my blonde hair black, if i use this will i go blonde again?
jamierocksforlife 1 year ago
@jamierocksforlife no it wont make your hair blonde again. all color oops is, is bleach with a weak developer so if anything it will turn it red or orange. getting black out is not easy its a complete color correction. if your going to do it yourself it will take a few bleachings, use 30 vol developer and space it out. you should wait at least 2 or 3 days between bleaching and use a toner.
whatsfordisert 1 year ago

Hey so I have naturally dark brown hair and I dyed it red about 2 months ago, but it's grown and my dark brown roots are fading and the red basically turnned into an orangish color. It's not hooorrible but I reaally want to go back to my dark brown hair, will this product make my hair orange or will it turn it back to my regular dark brown hair?
crypticTRUTHS 1 year ago
@crypticTRUTHS odds are it won't return your hair to your virgin color. what it will do is lift the red shade and lighten the hair... then you can dye your hair right after (it says its safe to do on the box) make sure you get a medium brown dye....since your hair may be a little porous if you get a dark brown it may come out too dark. remember you can always add color...but taking away is much harder.

K3LS3YKRUNKD00D 1 year ago

TheFrenchHornist 2 years ago 2
Hey :) you answered a question that ive been looking for the answere too all day. i have about 3-4 inches of roots (blond-ish) and i have dyed dark brown hair, do you think i would get good results?
LuvIzPain55 2 years ago
If it's just been dyed once from your natural color, you're an ideal candidate. If it's been dyed lots of times, it might take more than one attempt to get all the dye out. HTH.
thebargainqueen 1 year ago
Yay! Glad to hear it worked so well for you! Sometimes I think only the people it didn't work for post comments, I've used it a few times now and it's always worked.

I used this stuff today. It's so awesome. I started out with medium brown hair, and I wanted it a bit darker for winter. The wrong dye was in the box, and my hair came out glowing black/blue.

my natural hair is black, i used permanent red highlights in the past, I tried a similar product to remove the red but it didnt work at all, any idea?
davidnned 2 years ago
the bright colors are really, really hard to remove with color oops. you should put clairol natural instincts in your hair, in a similar shade to your natural black. it will fade slowly- it's semi-permanent- and eventually the highlighted color will be very close to your original color, after applying temporary dye once every 6-8 weeks or as needed! hope that helps!

Hi!!! I'm confused is this to take you back to your natural hair color? cuz I'm looking for something that takes away my blond hair color away to my natural light brown hair? xoxo
Meilin1728 2 years ago
Sorry, if you've bleached your hair, it won't return it to its natural color. You'll have to find some dye that's a close match & restore it that way instead.
(Although if you didn't lighten it at all, it will take you back to your natural color :)
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
Meilin, once you have lightened your hair you can't go back. Going blonde actually removes the pigments from your hair. All you can do is deposit a brown over the blonde.
eeetr 2 years ago
Buy two boxes. You seriously don't want to run out with only 2/3 of your hair done! (I have thick hair too and I needed two boxes :)
If you're really short on cash, some places will let you take the extra box back if you don't use it...
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
I have a question? hopelly someone will help me: I use to color my hair like super black , and i try dying it a lighter color but it didn't work, so i want to try COLOR OOPS , do you think i will only need one box or two. I have medium size and thick. I don't know if i should buy one or two boxes.

I dyed my already dyed light blonde hair to a dark mahogany brown a little over a month ago, and now I want it back to light blonde again. Will this take out all the blonde I had underneath too?
routinfigneuton 2 years ago
Depends; if your hair was already light, it'll return your hair to its natural color. If it's naturally darker & you bleached it light blond, it'll make it blond again - but it'll likely be brassy & need a toner to make it look good again.
I personally prefer a color-depositing shampoo like Clairol Shimmer Lights or L'Oreal Professionel Colorist Collection rather than regular toner, to avoid peroxiding your hair again - no point in damaging your hair more if you don't have to ;)
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
You're welcome :)
PS: Love Queen Helene's products - the face masks are great too ;)
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
What will the results be if I use ColorOops on my hair which was bleached to yellow blonde and dyed darker to medium auburn three months ago? I want make the color look like Joan Holloway's hair from Mad Men but went too dark. Will my hair fall out?
jkkphoto 2 years ago
It'll take your hair back to the yellow blond color you bleached it to, so you can dye it again.
It's unlikely your hair will fall out from using it, but I highly recommend using a deep conditioning treatment (e.g. VO5 hot oil or L'Oreal Feria Color Moisturizing Treatment) before & after to minimize the risk of breakage.
It didn't damage my hair much more than it was already but after bleaching it light, that's not saying much ;)
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
I bought this big pot of Queen Helene deep conditioner (it was only $3) so we'll see how that works. Pretty cool that you can buy permanent color remover and deep conditioner for a third of what you pay a hairdresser who usually gets it wrong.
thanks for the help bargainqueen!
jkkphoto 2 years ago
Thanks for this! Cant find it anyways here in Ottawa Canada but have read about it. Wanted it badly and thought it would bring me back to regular virgin hair. NOT! I read in the comments that it just makes hair color less and uneven. Reminds me of when I bleached at home years ago! You dont get a final color. Plus the scab risk and smell? NO THANKS
CatpurrRobertaBobbi 2 years ago
I swear by this product, took 6 months of black dye right out with one try and no damage at all. EXCEPT for the fact that it automatically triggered the worst athsma attack I have ever had in my life. IF YOU HAVE ATHSMA BE CAREFUL, DON'T BREATHE THE FUMES!
Aside from me almost dying my hair turned great! LOL
QueenYvette 2 years ago
That sucks re the asthma attack. Hope you feel better now!
Even for someone like me who doesn't have asthma, it's still pretty noxious. To anyone else intending to use it: make sure you have a window open & plenty of fresh air coming in while you're using this stuff!
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
I am blonde and dyed my hair dark red, it made 95% of the color come out! However i am sensitive to this product and i ended up with 3 spots of sores on my scalp even though i followed the directions perfectly. I had to wait about 2 weeks before I could dye my hair the correct color.
Also your hair will slowly become a little darker as the molecules that were loosened/shrunk to be washed out, but didn't get washed out slowly reatach and become dark again.
Still I recomend this product! =)
riceypuffcake 2 years ago
Sorry to hear bout your scalp!
Did you use the regular version or the gentle one? The gentle one is supposed to be much less likely to irritate your scalp... might be good to use next time :)

As I sit here with this vile liquid on my head, my 9 year old said "They forgot the "P" it should be called Color Poops because that's what it smells like! I have to agree...OMG I hope this is worth it. Imagine rotten vegetables and roadkill in a blender...that's what this smells like.

Hope you got a good result after that! The smell is pretty vile, but I found the result good enough to be worth it :)
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
does it work for hairdyes that lighten ur hair?
Bawlermoo 2 years ago
Sort of. It'll remove all the artificial color molecules in your hair, but it'll still be lighter than it was before - so you'd need to dye it again, if you want it back to your original color.
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
It certainly worked on your hair.
Would colour-oops work on my hair?
thanks
ask0lsvs 2 years ago
It would probably be a good first step; it sounds like the two dyes really didn't work with one another!
If you remove all the dye, you can at least see what your hair's like underneath all the dye. If it's reasonably even, pick whatever color you'd like it to be, buy some dye and you're set. If it's uneven, either dye it all as dark as the darkest bits, or get the too-dark bits lightened a bit (which is probably best done by a hairdresser :)
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
im bleaching my hair ands its my natural color (light brown) with blonde streaks is it necessary to strip it???????
jayceeRBWC 2 years ago
Probably not. If the highlights were just bleached, there's nothing to strip 'cos bleaching strips natural color molecules from your hair but doesn't add any artificial ones. Stripping hair removes artificial color molecules only, and since it sounds like you don't have any to remove, there's no reason to do it.
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
thats what ii thought too but my bfs mom said i would have too and i didnt think i really had 2 so i got my friend to do it instead turned out the right color my friend just really sucked haha thank you tho=)

A lot of hair color turns out fine if you just fiddle with it a bit - it's really not as difficult as hairdressers make it out to be!

it didnt get me to my original. first of all it STINKS smells like diarrhea farts, or poop. it does NOT come off your hair. my hair got lighter i was dirty blonde and went to black i used color oops and it worked okay i guess. my hair was brown with REd in it. when i used a colm my hairr got taken off and i guess... it riped a whole bunch of my hair which stinks. But its not a waste of money since it kinda works.
cutegirlxoxo1 2 years ago
lol it smells like farts
localbroadcast 2 years ago
yeah, mine ain't great either: too much bleaching'll do that! but at least stripping it didn't make it much worse...
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
Nope, it didn't damage my hair at all; it's not like bleaching all the color out which kills your hair.
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
it worked pretty good for me. my hair is naturally a very light brown and over the winter i dyed it black. now since its the summer i wanted to go lighter again and color oops got me back to my exact natural color, even with highlights. i used extra conditioning first and then two days later extra strength. i gotta say the dye really stinks though, not even like ammonia smell but it really stinks, and the smell doesnt go away from your hair or the room in which you colored if its small.
xkcjam 2 years ago
It took about a week for the smell to go away from my bathroom - and yeah, it's pretty awful!
thebargainqueen 2 years ago
It worked great for me. I'm going to do one more treatment and see what I come up with. My hair is really thick and it got nearly all the black dye out of my hair. I recommend this product.
Kinkycoils 2 years ago
I bought some of this whilst in America as I had dyed my bleached hair dark red, meaning after a few washes it went pinky!
I used the regular one then a day later, the extra strength. It got nearly all of the red dye out , so I just waited 2 weeks then highlighted my hair again with a cap and now I have blonde hair again.
I really didn't think it would work with my combination of permanent red dye on bleach blonde hair (ask any hairdresser about this disaster combo!)
Aeris0Rocks 3 years ago
Thanks for this. I was on the fence about using it, but I'm going to go out and get it now.
july7nyc 3 years ago 3
Hi SugarPetals4EVER,
It should work fine although you might need to do it twice to get all the black dye out.
Completely agree re not bleaching again, sounds like using more might make your hair snap!
PS: You might want to deep condition your hair a few times before & after the Color Oops, just to be sure...
