To the others, well, What else is University for if not walking out on a guest speaker so as to not have to hear anything that might grant you a new perspective on the world. Because nothing says expanding your mind quite like walking out of class to not hear how someone born in Isreal wants to go to college. It is certainly NOT anti-Semitic to stand up for the oppressed indigenous Palestinians agains the might of Zionist Israel. It would be anti-Semitic not to stand up for a true Semitic people, the indigneous Palestinians- unlike the Israelis who are not all Semitic; those from Europe and North America are not Semitic; they are Slav and Anglo.
In point of fact, Israel is the only nation practising anti-Semitism by it's abuse of the Semitic Palestinians.

Great protest! Staying to listen to these IDF oppressors would have been the same as respecting soldiers from the former apartheid government of South Africa.
The only worthwhile members of the IDF are those who are either members of Breaking the Silence or those who have refused to serve in the Occupied Territories and have risked imprisonment. The rest are serving a vile cause of land and water theft.

i'm sick of people equating disagreement with israels policy with antisemitism.
we are NOT antisemetic by protesting an OCCUPYING, OPPRESSIVE government. we have no problems with anyone based on their faith, only their political ideologies (i.e. ideas that disregard international law, killing innocent civilians, and the list goes on)...this is something Israel has proven to do time and time again, which is why we protest THEM and their representatives (in this case, the IDF).

How are you anti-Semitic for walking out on a presentation done by an Israeli soldier? This is the best kind of resistance and criticism against a government's policies targeting a particular group of people. There was no cursing, no shouting, no fighting - just walking out in mass to demonstrate how widespread the disagreement is. As you can see there's only like 4 students remaining in that huge classroom.
