cool! this is about the same time i saw Buddy, first and last concert at the Sacramento Sheraton hotel ballroom, I say first and last because it was soooo loud, people complained for a dozen floors up. it was on bottom floor, about 1500 peeps. management said no more concerts ha. my ears rang for hours after.

Ok, Buud guy messy, here's something you need to consider, LIFE IS MESSY! And the Blues is about life and your life expereinces, which feed your playing. Playing great technical blues is fine, but it comes across to me as blues that is played by the head, not the heart, which is why i, and others are ambivalent about mayer, not cause he is a bad player, but he plays from the head. Lay off Buddy, he plays with passion and intensity, and that in mu opinon is how the blues should be played.
