  • I remember when I first heard this one. It was about 8 years ago. I was driving home one night and the dj on the radio played it... I was rockin so hard in the car people were lookin at me but I did not care. The following went out and found it on an Lp - I never get enough of this.. SO TRUE what they are sayin.

  • just pure reggae !!

    vive les glad

  • been looking for this song for years!!!!!!! love u!

  • bad tune man considerin i wasn't even born yet and only heard dis song last week, love that bass line man plus the harmonies and its soooo random chattin bout " Goat never know de use of him tail till de butcher cut it off! " so random but yet so unique also with the tool, "Dont watch the tool the work it can do, watch the man thats behind it, BIG tune!

  • Why do you say it is so random? The lyrics speak about taking things for granted, not being thoughtful, and being selfish. These themes are presented as parables, hence "goat never know the use of him tail/ til the butcher cut it off." We must be thankful for what we have because it can leave us so quickly. Stay Jah wise, and remember the limitless love of God and your position as a humble servant.

  • I hear u ma bruva wen i meant random its cause i dnt fully kno the song u see but i see wat ur sayin :)

  • all good points, but it's actually a fable because the main character is a goat.

  • @aspollett That's just common sense, no need to invent gods and stories to explain common sense. The beautiful vibe I feel from music is not from a made-up god, but from the love and beauty of humanity.

  • @aspollett Yeah, cool elaborations of the vibes........ Makes sense. Blessings....

  • man!!! a free 18 year old girls riding down to Key West with her 21 year old boyfirend back in 1990. Listening to Gladiators non stop. Pure and good times!! This is where this song takes me.......... : )
