If you condemn Hitler for genocide then you MUST condemn your god for genocide as well. Either genocide is evil or it is acceptable.
Standards of right and wrong don't come from god, they come from society, our evolved conscience & empathy, and our ability to see cause and effect. You can't say that the bible is a source for morals as you won't find any commandments about not buggering children or owning slaves there.
There is no literal hell. Its just a scare tactic.

@jwissick You know, I just think you like riling up Christians. You get some kind of entertainment out of it. You really don't care if you end up in Hell. I don't think you've even studied a bit of what you criticize. You go on suppressing the truth in your unrighteousness and then laugh and scoff at others who don't agree with you. The Bible talks plenty about people like that. Not a good ending for them...that's for sure. God is sovereign and can do what He pleases. His judgments are just!

@Eric0873 And you couldn't be more wrong. I am an EX-christian. I was a "born again" believer for 20 years..... I studied the bible more than most christians ever will. Hours a day for those 20 years.
BTW, if you say that god can do no wrong in genocide, you have no "absolute morals". If genocide is immoral for us, then it MUST be immoral for god.... If it's not, then there are no absolute morals for you to stand on....

@jwissick No, James. You were not a Christian. If you were, you never would've left it to begin with. True conversions are based on biblical informed faith, understanding that a supernatural rebirth has occurred in the spirit of the individual by God. You were more than likely a false convert just as Dan Barker (founder, FFRF). I'm guessing something didn't happen the way you thought it should and so you disavowed Christianity for that reason. You really need to study more theology.

@jwissick It's no bull James. Read Mark 4. Jesus talks about the seed that was spread on different types of soil. Some choked the seed some fell by the way side and some fell on good soil. I'm afraid you didn't allow your soil to be plowed up by God's law to see how much you need Him as your Savior. You won't allow God's law to reveal to you your sin against Him. We all have fallen short of His standard. Its His righteousness He offers to you through Christ. It saddens me that people quit.

@jwissick It's not solely about what's in the Bible, but more so about what it is you've done with the information from out of the Bible. God's word is absolute truth. (John 14:6; John 1:1) This is clearly seen through Jesus Christ who came to this Earth to reveal truth to us. Its your hope and admonition that its not true, b/c if you admit it is then you would have to quit doing the things you love to do in opposition to Him. Sorry James, but you weren't a Christian.

@jwissick Membership Cards....that's cute. You're right, ultimately I don't know the status of one's soul. But I can tell by one's fruit. A good tree can't produce bad fruit and a bad tree can't produce good fruit. The fruit that you show J, is horribly bad. You mock and scoff and smack of pride....then again that's just my word against yours. God knows for sure James...count on that. Please humble yourself, repent and trust in Jesus. He is the only one who can save you from Hell. (John3:36)

Sorry, James, but reading the Bible for "hours a day" doesn't make you a Christian. Simply saying you're a Christian doesn't make you a Christian, either.

@jwissick - God's judgments are not evil, James, no matter how much faulty human reasoning you apply to it. He is the Creator and Judge and your condemnations of "genocide" against Him are meaningless.
If "right and wrong" come from society, then you cannot condemn genocide as evil. EVER. If a society decides that genocide is "right," then you cannot judge it to be "wrong."
