  • Ho-ly crap! that was amayzing! everyone is together and...thier r no words to explain what i jut aw!!! ^^

  • lol some baritone was a little bit too eager to party at 2:25

until now i dont think i've fully appreciated how fun 2:26 to 2:33 was to play or listen to

  • baritones at 9:03 <333

  • most underated drumlines

    Bluecoats, Phantom Regiment, Carolina Crown.

Bluedevils need to shut the fuck up. i love some years but hate others

  • LOVE the mellophone runs at 10:20 and 10:24. Wish they would have kept them for finals.....awesome....

  • IMO, this was probably the most solid corps Bluecoats had in their history (2007).

  • the cheering @ 1:56 come on ?!?!

  • it was baby making love noises

  • we stole their show :P

  • i LOVE the Dark harmonies...sexy! AND THE D-LINE IS clean!!

  • cause i get funny responses like that :D

  • your intimater.

  • poop.

  • although it was funny. please grow up a little bit.

  • nnnooope not going to.

  • wow what a baby.

  • I think it's cool to hear it with out the pit. You can hear more of the details in the brass and drum line.

  • your gay.

  • The Coats are becoming one of my favorite corps. They're all ways entertaining and freakin clean to boot

  • 8:33

  • lol there missing the pit. lol this would sound a lot better, and louder if all the pit was here.

  • I loved this drumline and corps. Hats off to Blue 07.

  • Wish they didn't water the music down so much

    this version was way better

  • sick snares at 3:50 nice gravity blasts.

  • shut up, no you don't

  • it's true. i'm from utah kiddo, it's always snowing.

  • Id love to see your band preform when the field is flooded and when there is a pretty bad thunderstorm outside. I'm pretty sure snow is nothing.

  • when our tour took us to Utah...there was NO snow. and i doubt there was any snow during July either.

  • I was there! Fanastic show, they sounded really good, even without the pit!

  • Looks like a repeat from last year too. The perc is strong lke bull this year. Even cleaner than last season and even more notes in the book!

  • I dunno about that. a lot of notes in both books, but I'd say 07 had more.

    08 did sound cleaner though.

  • The battery feature with the guard and boxing up front was hot! TONS of notes and very clean. I despise Dellucia because he's a tool but I do respect his opinion when he said the bluecaots percussion was stout this season.

    Either way...GO BLUE!

  • OH man I had no idea the battery licks were this sweet. This wasnt too early in the season but it was still very impressive from the horns for playing inside a gym. That brass line was one of the best in DCI for the history books. Too bad they didnt get the scores during finals.

  • Yeah, I wish their brassline would have been ranked higher... their drumline got 2nd place though didn't they?

  • I think they were 3rd or 4th at finals. They were ranked in the top 4 most of the early season before getting the screw at finals.

  • @TonyDanza007

Ever since Cavies old drum staff took over Bluecoats they have been smoking.... and for some reason cavies since 2006 have sucked balls...

  • @brown55061 best in dci for the history books? NOT EVEN close... you sound like a total idiot with that comment.... sorry to inform you but Wayne Downey with the Blue Devils has won the brass title 24 times... then there was Star of Indiana, Suncoast Sound, Madison Scouts, Spirit of Atlanta all famous for their incredible kick ass brass programs.... bluecoats have never had one.... even in this video, bad attacks, intonation, poor releases... you obviously are a noob to this activity.

  • @JessOnTheRun

You are comparing a mid-season rain out gym performance to corps that played 2-valve G bugles 20 years ago. Score wise the Coats were up there in 07 and you can't compare anything done in modern times to the classics. Different horns, different techniques to get a different sound etc. Talent wise most all top 6 corps surpass the things done in the 80s and 90s, both technically and difficult level. If you disagree, nobody cares. It's an OPINION. We don't have to agree.

  • @brown55061 well mine is an expert, educated, experienced opinion, being that I have been a member and staff member of top dci corps, have 2 championship rings and 3 drum titles... and no, what is being done today isnt more difficult... not in performance, only in visual... in brass and percussion books, not by a long shot, its been toned/dumbed down for the priority of the visual book. And the coats are scoring well due to those blue devil and cavies alum from the 80's

  • @JessOnTheRun

Uhhh again, it's an opinion man. I'm happy for you and your rings, I never got one. But I suppose that's what gives you the right to troll videos and argue about meaningless things.

  • @JessOnTheRun lolfag.

  • This show needed PIT it sounds so empty without it. Where was the pit o.0?

  • ha ha "The Blue coats drumline" featuring the band........ ha ha lol

  • 8:53 to 9:04 is the best part

  • haha it sounds so funny without the pit

  • 3:55 snares

    haha awesome

  • well, I was at a show that got rained out and Spirit was there. we went on after them

  • k, well maybe I was wrong, but there is still another Blue Corps in Div 1 and they've been there for the past 2 years.

  • the only blue corps left besides all of them is Blue Stars =/

  • Blue corps in D1?

    Bluecoats, Blue devils, Blue knights?

  • Nevermind, I'm an idiot, I thought you were asking which corps are D1 and blue

  • Dude, spirit and some others were there, and yes there was another Blue Corps at that show

  • spirit? no they werent... cascades, colt cadets and crossmen were there and i think pioneer was but another blue corps? i know for sure blue knights and blue devils werent, so what corps are you referring to?

  • well, another Blue Corps that isn't BK or BD. there's only one left besides Bluecoats.

  • I remember that show, It was so slick and we had to go into the gym. It was cool, but the gym was so small. I wasn't in the Bluecoats, but I was in another Blue Corps at that show.

  • Why do yall hate the Cavies? Bluecoats are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Believe me they are, no bull or anything like that. But Cavaliers are amazing to, don't be hating the Cavaliers just cause they go a couple of good tricks up their sleeves . Go see 04, 06,07, or 00, and tell me that Blue coats can out play them. Look what they can do with a crappy Billy Joel song. Please list your opinions.

  • agreed, you can't dislike the cavaliers after seeing them. wow. i'd say best visuals in DCI, and many years, the best overall package. However, Billy Joel is not crappy... just cause its the most musical show they've done in a while doesnt make it a bad one.

  • So one thing i can proudly say about this hornline is that they play and sound the same standing still and moving.....Just amazing

  • THANK YOU for posting this! As an '89 Bluecoats alum, I never get to see stand-stills anymore. And without the guard and pit, it reminds me of our old skull sessions. And in prime competition form! Bluecoats rock (and were robbed in Pasadena)!

  • Your welcome!

  • Where is the pit? did they not come inside at all?

  • you can hear them marking time at some pauses haha.

  • i wish i had a shot at the snareline..

  • The people IN said line barely had a shot.....

    They were BEAST all season.

  • 2nd that

  • jesus christ the drum line is RAMMING

  • my new favorite line :)

trying out for them next year!

  • ill see ya there hopefuly

  • jeez how loud was it in there!?

  • I was sitting on the floor that night, it was pretty much like putting your head next to a jet engine. The first half of that night sucked because it kept raining on and off so when they finally moved it indoors none of the corps cared about playing pretty anymore, they just wanted to make the audience happy. I still get a huge smile on my face every time i think about that night, definitely one of the best shows i have been to. Thanks Bluecoats, Vanguard, and Crossmen for making my ears ring =D

  • 5:18.....love you lead mellos :)

  • I think its bluecoats with a beast show and playing alot better then cavaliers ever could

  • drumline has a lot of feet issues

  • and visuals missed

  • That's a lot of sound for that small gym...wow!

  • That show was soooooooo awesome, well after they finally moved it inside where it was dry. I was in the hall outside the gym with one of my buddys when the crossmen drumline was warming up, dust was POURING out of the ceiling =]. The Bluecoats' arrangement of Holley Cole's Timbuktu was AWESOME. definitely one of the better DCI shows ive been to.

  • Ya I wish I would have recorded the Crossmen show as well but I didn't even think about recording it until after their performance was over :[

  • this book (brass and percussion) changed a lot over the season.....

  • I'm not totally sure but it seemed like the contra 16th note runs got watered down for finals...

  • Yeah, it did.

  • also, this show sounds like a mixture between The Cavaliers 007 show and Machine, from 04 and 06, if the pit was there it woulda sounded very awesome

  • yeah lol, i went to camp auditions and chad schaedler was joking about how for this show since they were supposed to be "criminals" that they "stole" a bunch of ideas from cavies shows.

  • thats kinda bad, but awesome in a way, this show was awesome this year, i still need to get the finals dvds, this is the first year that i kinda forgot about them, i got them every year since like 02 and i forgot this year, but yea thats really cool, i still cant get over the new uniforms, mixture of blue devils and phantom lol

  • i love the new bluecoats uniforms, they are bitchin awesome!!!

  • its awkward to hear these shows without the front ensemble. great sound though. go blue!

  • minute 9:55-9:56, those octave A's in the trumpets are so in tune!! MMM tasty

  • poor dude with the megaphone...

    oh wait, thats me.

  • THATS COOL BRO

  • My high skools doin this show next season, do u know any bluecoat drummers that live in North Carolina?

  • that's great.....i probably doubt that there are any Bluecoat drummers in NC? one guy is from maryland but that's probably the closets to my knowledge

  • There's a kid from the snareline in 05 and 06 who lives in North Carolina, his name is Jared.

  • I need a 07 person, thanx thoe

  • did you just stand there the whole season, like was that your job?? or were you an alternate or somethin??

  • I played vibes in the pit and did the vocals whenever it was needed. The pit was able to skip out on this performance, but they still wanted me to do the vocals. Kinda silly, but whatever. It was fun.

  • wait your the guy who did the vocals?

  • You're hot.

  • This was the best moment on tour.....freakin sick. We got to play loud and it sounded great too....

    Thank you for posting this!!!!!

  • holy crap- i've hit the mother-load! thanks man :)
