  • Hey man, I just got my first pit an he is only 10-11 weeks right now. He's still mouthing an his teeth are like needles lol. I've been trying to train him since 8 weeks when I got him but he will not pay attention because he is to hyper. So far, the only thing he will do is sit. Msg me with some advice or something because my parents are already getting upset with his mouthing. Thanks man

  • He is adorable

  • hahahah did he say mato to to the dog when he threw the ball? hahaha i thought i was the only one saying that, nicee!!!

  • Dude im really sorry about what happened to your dogs man i truely am but i have a problem my dog dexter is a pitbull and doesnt obey me or my grandmother he bites us.The only person he obeys is my grandfather. What do I do cause if he keeps behaving like this my grandmother will send him to the pound and i love my dexter and I know theres good in him.I just dont know what it will be like with him out of my life please you got to help me.

  • So I have a problem with my dog. My ex and I got her when she was just a pup and she took to him instantly, she respected him. But when she was about 2 my ex and I broke up and he didn't want her. She has always been raised in a family environment, shes a great dog, shes always happy and shes super nice. most of the time- except with my young neices and nephews. shes nipped at them a few times. and I just can't put them at risk like that. she doesn't respect me like she did him. any suggestions?

  • i got a red nose shez 11weekz how do i get her 2 stop bitn on her lesh

  • i have a pitbull its a puppy and its a boy but i think it knows its name...when i call him he looks at me but when i try to get him forcus he wont what do i do?

  • yo i got a pit had her for about 2years been trying to train her she good with basic commands but just wanted to know if you had any tips on aggression with other dogs?

  • hand command? Yet he makes voice commands.... first rule neuter your animal.

  • Hello I have a beautiful American pit bull terrier..She is my best friend and she only really listens to me and mot my husband. She plays with him and listens to some commands.but she don't want to listen o anyone esle but me and i dont have to give her a treat she is a great dog..but stubborn as hell lol.like to get into things sometimes but we are working on that.i have a harness and a 6 foot leash.sometimes she jerks ans doesnt want to listen after being stern.

  • Hey I have a question . My dog are scared of me . I don't hit them . I never do that. Idk why . I think is by the energy I have . Want to know how can i make them trust me.? And how can I make my self be calm when they do something wrong.??

  • Why you have the other dog chain up.?

  • Hey man, i need help. URGENTLY. I have a 3 month old blue pit female, and i want to keep her but my mom says she is dangerous just because she is a pit. How can i train her to be obidient and listen to me?

  • @davidcoolkid15 Pits can be stubborn so you need to establish your authority early before she starts getting bigger and stronger. You need to be firm when issuing a command. When she obeys your command give her a treat, that way she'll be familiar to the command and that there is a treat for her in exchange of obeying. You need not to be mean to your dog?

  • @tec909 thanks, but i still dont understand. How can i be firm and stronger, but still keep a normal puppy thats not scared of me? Cuz if i yell or make a firm voice, she gets scared of me...and the treats dont seem to help. Is it just that she needs more time to acustom to the training?

  • @davidcoolkid15 check out tab289 he has great techniques on basic comandz its important to socialize your dog whether he's an american pit bull terrier or a chow introduce him to as many people as you can after he gets his shots introduce him to as many friendly dogs as you can the key is to be consistent with training be postive and have patience I have two pit bulls one very well trained the other on the way to being well trained just be patient with him

  • i use some of ur methods they worked, my pit is learning quick, appreciate it

  • Nice!!

  • This was great wish youd do more videos my puppy is two months i started using ur technique today

  • i guess you didn't train them to go off with strangers. Which should bring us to your second clip " training your pitbull to guard your property" WOW.

  • thank you !!!!!!!

  • @CeejaayxMP3 your welcome

  • tnx man i really needed a lot of help to gt my blu nose pit to listen to me. Its goin to be harder no cause hes almost 1 year

  • I'm thinking about adopting a lab/pit puppy from a shelter. When I they brought her out, she walked right up to me, sat between my feet, and leaned against my leg. When I bent over to pet her, she let me and licked me a lot then rolled on her back, exposing her belly and let me pet her anywhere. She's a real sweetheart, seems smart and eager to please but I don't know anything about training dogs. Do you think that is good submissive behavior?

  • i been having my pitt for a whole year and tryin to train him but doesnt work .he freaking hard headed

  • @micaela717 The first thing you should do is establish alpha dog or pack leader. Your pit should respect you and not be afraid of you, establish this respect early in the relationship. The longer you take that harder it will be, just like kids.

  • @micaela717 get his toy that u first game him when he was a puppy, train him using that.

  • hey humm how do dey learn to lift dere leg wen dey do number 1?

  • @copratethug08 It is there way of marking their territory. This is why dogs will pee many times on a walk. Also, if another dog has marked this particular spot he will add his scent to the others. This is also how dogs tell who is in the neighborhood. They lift their legs to be able to mark the spot higher than other dogs, also to get their scent into the air better.

  • Hi Tec, I just bought a rescue pit from the SPCA, He has an amazing personality but he has a few bad habits, like jumping up and always wanting to run out of the gate, do you have any tips for me to get him to start listening...I have just been trying to use a sturn voice and positive re-inforcement...any other tips would be appretiated...

  • yo tec...i jus got ah 9 week pit rednose i aint neva had a pit before and man i need to kno how to potty train and sit commands cuz wat u jus showed me was fire so id like u to help me pimpin.....plz hola bak wen u check this foreal foreal

  • that's a nice bull you have there dawg....

i got a question....i've just got a pitbull from my aunt, but he's over 1 year old....

am i still able to train him ???

he respects me and all, but knows no commands...

  • How do you keep your pit bull to pay attention to you?

When I take mine to the dog park she blanks out and forgets EVERY command Ive taught her

  • Also, she's about 11 weeks now or going on 11 weeks, and she knows sit and down well. She nips a lot, and she nips faces. She doesn't mean it badly, but she tries to play and does it, or does it when she's licking and sneaks in a nip on your nose or lips. Any tips for that? lol

  • My pit is a pit/Akita mix, so I def. need to keep her trained, but she's got such a short attention span and won't listen. I can give her hand cues and she'll get them, but they have to be very clear and RIGHT by her. She's sweet as can be, but sooo hyper, which is fine, but I want her to know not to cross in front of people while they're walking or jump on them because I have a 97 year old grandma. =/ Any tips?

  • great video man

  • very good bro

  • You should train your fat abs, not your dog.

  • you dont know shit about dog trainig fucking nigger

  • YOU DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT TRAINING DOGS... FUCKING NIGGER!!!!

  • @dulzo Wow, dude... You're pathetic. Do you not see how well his dog responds to him? And, honestly, look at that gorgeous pit. He has no marks or anything and doesn't look like he's on steroids. Obviously, the owner is a great one.

  • I just got a pit mix a week ago and found your training video so helpful and I commend you for giving them a good reputation. I REALLY hope you get your dogs back --- please keep looking for your babies! Just tell the police that by being stolen they will most likely be used for fighting...and where there is fighting , usually there is drugs, weapons etc....I hope they help you find your buddies, they are beautiful!

  • great job :D I love pitbulls Before i got into horses I had 6week old puppies who knew to sit stay come n speak...I was good at it and then horses stole my heart lol

  • Hello, I have a 8 month old female pit bull. I'm more experienced with boxers, and bull dog's, but I wanted to try something new...I have taught her to sit, she is leash broke , and she commands to treats...but she still likes to chase cars and get into garbage, and if I don't keep my eye on her she chews whatever she can get to, even though, she had chew toys. Could u give me some advice about her?:)

  • @autumnMhart1993 feed her

  • Pits are banned in the UK but i know people that have them and i also want i am familiar with pits as my sister used to have a few. the reason i cannot get one is that my mum says no there all way to vicious but if u train them correctly and have respect for them as you have said they not vicious THUMPS UP IF AGREE

  • Hey Tec. I just wanted to say your pit bull that you are training looks beautiful. I have been fostering a blue staffy for about 3 months. Unfortunately she goes back to her owner today as she is the most gentle beautiful dog. I love pits but unfortunately in sunny England it is illegal to own one. Good luck with the dogs

  • Thank You @krazedsnakey

  • my pit is 8 months old and he likes to jump up and give lots of kisses to everyone lol which isn't a bad thing but, for people who don't know him it can be scary to them. What is the best way to teach him not to jump up on people?

  • Thank you for your help. Very easy and simple.

  • somebody stole ur dog!!!!

  • hey im gettin a 12 week old pitbull and do you think ill have problems teaching her to stay sit or come?

  • Nice job. I hope you have been able to get another pit. It is very obvious that you love your animals. Im sorry someone was that low to steal your boys. I hope somehow you can get them back. I would beat some ass if some1 messed w my pit

  • Very good training, you have a nice dog, trained well so calm and relaxed

  • i hate ppl with a passion who steal other ppl's dogs. what kind of fucked up mentality do you need to have to do that? sorry about your loss. was it this pit or another two. this goes to show everybody, keep your pets inside.

  • @MsDogman6 You can start teaching loose lead walking earlier than 6 months, and better if you can start by 3-4 months. You can begin in the house with the puppy following you around.

  • nice dog.. ive got 5months pit.. i bought her when she was 4months old..is it too late to train her?,,, do you need some treats if train your dog?

  • @19jaypee88 it the perfect time to train them, they are puppies for 2 years and they learn tthe most now

  • my baby girl missy is a blue pit, shes nice and all but she doesnt let our min. poodle eat she gets real aggresive and tries to fight her, what do i do? also how do i teach her fetch?

  • Yo, U seem like a great owner - keep up the good work

  • Comment removed

  • rregular collars or harness is all u need

  • ppits need constant attention, not to be confused with spoiling them. its normal to mouth, but consistant correction is a must. never hit or be mean. best video ive seen btw.

  • The results of your training are amazing. Im training my 8 month old pitbull but im using a prong collar. So how did you train your dog? You didnt use any special equipment or anything?

    Thanks.

  • are u part of expert villiage? please reply

  • @amirbhti1 no, we're apart of that site yet

  • @tec909 k thanks

  • @tec909 my pitbull, i've been teaching him "leave it" and he still wants to go play with other dog on walks. no matter how many times i jerk the leash he'll still do it. everything else is positve traing except the ignoring others that i only use negative reinforcement on.

  • @j0hnxjxrambo stand still like a statue, holding the leash with both hands. And say the leave it command, or No, or whatever. If you pull, the dog will feel stressed, and only get more hyper. You need to teach it that its not going anywhere unless it listens to you

  • what age can u start training them?

  • @RACHELKAVUNGU 8 weeks

  • good job

  • man im sorry about ur dog man that was mess up

  • Great video. That sucks that someone took your dogs. My pit is so friendly, she would probably just go with anyone too.

  • You let someone steal your dogs?? Gee, wonder what happened to em.

  • Obviously he didn't let someone steal his dogs dumass. If he was there do you think the dog would have been stolen

  • If he was there he would've pulled out a 12 gauge and dismantle someones rib cage then feed them to the dogs....I would do that.

  • that's wasup right there. if only you could train woman like dat.lol

  • was he microchipped? there is always a chance of finding them if they are chipped, you can do it yourself ,we use the avid chips and post signs saying all dogs are chipped its a good deterent

  • i use spanish word too.man.=)

    sorry bout your dogs..

  • absolutey loved teh training video and im waitin for teh next one

  • sorry about your dogs man, i know how much it hurts to lose one.

  • Hey...Im feeling your video.

Let me ask you something...Is your dog friendly with other dogs?

My dog is 1 1/2 month old,and im having trouble with him being dog friendly...any advise?

    ps:Sorry about your dog.

    MR.Gwinnett

  • Nice training video! You should put more videos. Sorry about your dogs

  • thats a really nice dog....

  • Yeah He can still be trained you just have to keep working with him the first thing is to get his attention with something second is reward and praise lots of rubbing and most important is repeating over and over not overkill and it only takes about five minutes a day

  • my pit is a year old and can only sit really, my parents pampered him when they lived with them for a few months..is it too late to instill training?

  • no it is not to late you just have to keep repeating the commands over and over until he takes on remember you got to treat your pet when they obey

  • Thank you for the tips ! really opened my eyes to a better way to train my dogs...much love and respect

  • thnx for da comment if you ever have any ? just ask elobuckfifty
