Priorities are essential for freelancers.

I don't believe in a MIT list-although it is a great idea.

Having written for magazines and newspapers, I have had to juggle different projects.

My advice: If you are working on an article, start making calls and setting interviews right away. Also, get to the computer and start doing initial research.

That way, you have gotten the ball rolling and have kick started the project.
