...I really enjoyed Desmond's Journey, but I doubt someone who likes playing a story without a complete backstory would like it. As you can see, the being in the core of the Animus is just a filler, and the sole reason to play that is to hear Des' life being told by himself. Therefore, Hannah has all the right to complain, but no right to ask Ubisoft to not put something of the like in in the next game. Just my opinion on the Desmond's Journey part.

the point in desmonds journey is to explain what happened to desmond before he got captured by abstergo and his life if you looked at more of the walls you could see pictures from were he was born etc i really loved desmonds journey because its peaceful and more layed back than the usual murdering everything which is why i love this game so much because it has different things other than the same old kill everything gameplay

@mikepictor Got to Animus Island and head away from the big portal (the one into the main story) you should find a semi-circle of pillars in pairs, if you have collected enough memory fragments then they will contain smaller portals to the Desmond sections sections.

I don't know, I feel like the game seems to be rather intriguing with all these merged genres (Tower defense, puzzle, action), but then again I'm the kind of guy who'd jump for a good puzzle game as soon as he'd jump for a good action/adventure game. I guess Ubisoft was trying to appeal to the wider audience? But I suppose that did isolate their previous loyal fans.

Desmon's journey is really weird. It sounds like it had to go to a completely different program in a way to handle it. This, coupled with the Tower Defence thing they seem to have going as well for defending dens and Revelations is a very weird game. :P

I want them to make something similar because i want more back raound info on the history of assassins creed so its helpful if you like the story which is why people love the franchise.

Actually Desmond's Journey is rather interesting to watch and yes it's like portal but it's portal with a purpose, there's not a puzzle platformer in there for no logical reason, Desmond has been wired up to that thing experiencing other people's lives and both he and it are half frazzled as a result.
