VRS Start Up-Cold and Dark

Hi I can't manage to start the APU, I started with cold and dark and there are engine covers on the aircraft, and somehow my APU don't spool up normally and I can't start the engines. Any key assigned to remove the engine coverings and stuff?

Sorry but i have to point out a minir mistake there. The last knob you threw was for activating the strobe lights. To squawk charlie you turn the transponder on in UFCD

i still can't get a cold/dark start up...i went to simulations and all in the ACM, and clicked on cold/dark...but i keep on starting out in the Rig mode...can anyone help

hey great video......i wud like to know i dont hear the engine test fire sounds and when i open the canopy i dont hear the sounds llike in your video can when i do the control check only the right elator moves could u tell wat i could do to resolve this problem thank you keep up the good work

How do you get the Superbug to load cold and dark? I can't seem to find the setting to do that. When it loads, it's already running. It's a time saver, but it takes away some of the realism. Any ideas?

@smacman68 Go to the Aircraft Config. Manager and on the Preferences tab you should see Simulation on the left hand side. Click it and you will see several check boxes on the right. Cold and Dark startup is under the avionics section.

Note though, once you set it to cold and dark, there is no going back unless you reinstall!

I've got a problem with my F-18, if anyone could help, that'd be great! I start the aircraft normally and successfully, but when i push on the stick in any direction, i get no response from the plane. Everything else on the joystick works, the plane just doesn't respond. If anyone has a solution to this, that'd be fantastic. Much appreciated.

Just fyi, the BIT button you pushed last is the BIT button for the HUD camera.

@VulturGhyphus move your throttle (the one on your desk lol) around then put it at minimum, then right click the throttle in-game

my airspeed is about 250knots and about. am an experience virtual pilot, got 200hours of flight. 70hrs on the PMDG737, 50hr PMDG 747-400 , 50hrs on D-LEVEL 767 and just about 30hr on the Majestic Dash 8-q300 and counting.

just don't know why the aircraft well loose lift with the power to max. its am most like the hydraulic system stops working .

@tysontube290 That seems like it should be a question for the VRS Forums. If you are doing your start up and you are starting the right engine first you should be okay for hydraulic pressure.

hey man after i do all of the , when it come for takeoff its good nice but then after i retract the gears and flaps the aircraft goes into a nose dive and crash

@tysontube290 What is your airspeed when that happens? When you retract your flaps you lose lift so if you are not going fast enough the aircraft will stall.

@quim42 Make sure you have your triggers aliased to "Open/Close Cowl Flaps" and read the tutorial flight. That will go into more detail then I can responding. I also have another video to check out on weapons as well.

at 3:21 you put your mouse near the "Reset FCS" button... so I click there and works.. weird.

btw, I dont understand why the plane runs at 3 (three) fps here. I have 8 gigs of ram, 2 gigs of video and all aircraft addons (pmdg, 757cs, etc) runs as 70, 80 fps.

Hmmm my system isn't even that powerfull, I have the CS 757 and I get 32 fps however I have it locked at 32 with REX so the computer isn't "overworking" to hit the high frame rates. I would post that question on the VRS forums, someone else may have had that problem too.

Navigation is easy if you just fly A to B. The aircraft will fly itself if you couple the waypoints however you manually fly to/from the altitude you want and for the first time have the option to fly a TACAN arrival at a feild. If your looking for an aircraft that is going to fly itself, this really isn't the one.

I follow this tutorial but my flight controls dont works. ailerons, rudders, etc.. nothing is working. fsuipc error maybe?

Did you set up the controlls properly during the initial set up of the VRS Bug? You would have had to load FS, reverse your flight controls, exit the sim, load the ACM and then start FS9 again. Read the set-up carefully and that should fix the issue
