  • I want one for a daily driver. I guess it's good it sucks at that...

  • Bought one a few months ago... I love the fact that it's small and impractial! Does exactly what I wanted :)

  • omg why all the hate for the guy! he did nothing wrong

  • To give the reviewer credit the car is very impractical. But i think he's missing the point, nobody wants to buy a lotus to use as an everyday driver. Most models dont come with air conditioning. The review should have been more focused on performance specs.

  • that guy is a propper tosser

  • that guys a dick

  • i dont care if its not practical i want one!!!!!!!

  • LESS TALK MORE DRIVE,

  • I love this car. The only thing I hate is the plain interior. The exterior is beautiful though, but the interior is so plain. It isn't like I use anything else but the air conditioning and stereo anyways.

  • it weighs more if they made the interior more luxury... and the new evora has a nice interior but the exterior is not as nice as the elise or exige imho

  • Yeah that is true. It doesn't have allot of horsepower put it can still keep up with the super sports cars in acceleration.

  • @b4igetu You can always customize it when you OWN one... I think its perfect ... they took out everything you don't REALLY need.. I'm surprised they even have a radio in there.. since its built purely for performance, they should have probably left the cd area blank and the owner could install one of his\her choice. But im not complaining, radio & ac is pretty good by itself.

  • Yeah I don't use anything else other then the stereo and a/c. What I meant by a plain interiors was not the accessories inside but just the color. It looks plain and cheap like it is for someone who works on the rigs who doesn't care about getting the inside dirty.

  • when did they start having reviews of exotic cars

  • i love this car i havent had a nights sleep since ive seen it (3 years). and when you think about it it is pretty practicle decent mpg for a sport car. you can easily pick up a low milage exige for around 45k much better than a lambo or a farari. the price is good for what you get its like ford gt looks in a smaller package. all and all its a great car i have ben in one and its easy to get in and out of and im not a verry small guy. i love it and if you dont more for me. im buying one next year!

  • What's a farari? Anyways, this car is an Exige S 240. It's about $70K to $75K or maybe more. . . .not practical when you think about it. Even if it does get great gas mileage. Yes you can buy a preowned Exige for around $40K. . .not bad at all, but still not really practical, when you take in the whole picture. Cheers!

  • whos this guy?!!!!

  • I've notice on this site that there are alot of comments that have nothing to do with the cars in the video. Instead comments are mad about how this guy looks, how that commentator looks gay, he's looks very girlie jumping in and out of that car. I have just one question. Who on this site is really the fags, the commentator or the gay girlie looking guy that is posting comments on how the commentator looks? Makes you wonder

  • This is one of the least expencive sports cars. =] diffinetly gonna buy one soon.... only around $70,000 great car.

  • My question is if you cant see out the back why have a rear view mirror at all. Isnt that more weight? haha

  • The rear mirror is really useful when you want to fix your hair or something like that,in the exige!Especially when it doesn't a mirror anywhere else in the cockpit!!!:D

  • A good question. . . It helps when you have the side multi-vex mirrors.

  • It's removable, mine doesn't have one.

  • Comment removed

  • "The supercharger takes up the entire rear window."

    lololololol

  • I have the Exige S. It's a great ride! I have stage II exhaust and the sound is great!

Not my daily driver, but I drive it often. Never been to the grocery store in it but have taken it through the drive through a few times ; )

If you ever have a chance to drive either the exige or elise... do it!

    Vegas T

  • wow your lucky man to have an exige, does ricardo make the transmission for this car?

  • Where's Jeremy Clarkson when you need him?!?!

  • you dont by a lotus for practicality you stupid fuck

  • As much as I hate you already. This car, you spoiled consumer. Not that you need either one. But at least get one that can handle the corners and not just straight lines incase you'll act your age and want to "race" your friends. 30MPG will help me hate you less as well.

  • hopefully you don't crash and burn.... You need to have your parents buy you a Celica or something. Learn how to drive first.

  • I haven't driven one yet but they are tricky to get in and out of. Thankfully you only have to do it once for each trip. Once inside it seems roomy enough for my 6'2" frame. There isn't much room between the passenger and drivers seat. Maybe only a couple inches. This car is on my top 5 list.

    Speedy:)

  • this guy is a moron. the ferrari 360 seats the same way. its not an everyday car. i like my cars loud, uncomfortable and fast.

  • its not as small as u think, i've driven one..and i fit into it fine (no im not small well over 6") its just that u americans are well lets face it...fat

  • this guy is a doush

  • This guy seriously tries to act like he's not having fun while accelerating. Wayyyyy too serious if you ask me....

  • fag

  • lmao "it's impractical, loud, and small but it's incredible fun" lol wtf

  • this guys a herb

  • awesome car, but why not just save an enormous amount of money and go supercharge the celica gt-s?.....same engine....just not supercharged

  • Oh idk say looks 4 one, lets not forget about 600lbs less weight, mid-engined, brakes, tires, 6spd. Did I mention looks?

  • u cant even see out of it....plus like no room?

  • Thats true, this is not a practical vehicle. But its sports car/race car for the street. Think of it more like eric rossi said, its like a go-cart for the street. A celica is well... a celica.

  • yeah true, but can achieve similiar results for less money and more practicality...i love the exige, but its purely a track car i think.

  • I'm too big 4 this car...1.85cm

  • You will fit just fine, go take one out!

  • Lotus offers both the 220bhp and 240bhp models in 2008. I doubt any of the 220bhp models will be brought to the US though.

  • The U.S. has both on offer.

  • I thought it had 220hp? Did Lotus upgrade it to 240hp?

  • For the '08 model you can have 220 or if you wish 240bhp with big roof intake big AP 4 pot brakes and variable traction control.
