@baseballgreat44 With all due respect, do some research in music. If your at a college take a music tech class. They will teach you how yes, there is a lot of pitch correction today. We can't avoid it. The only way to know for sure is to ask the producer.

By the way, the 'CD quality' you hear is because its just that - a CD. I'm not saying Ben Folds does this, but I've heard of bands where the drummer just hits play on the iPod and they all pretend to play along.
