  • Please tell me how this works, I am making a stirling engine right now, but this design looks much better.. ASAP plz tell me

  • interesting ..can u tell me how it works...

  • Interesting im currently working on machining up all the parts for my first stirling engine and ran into problems manafacturing a bush seal for the displacer rod... I like this idea :-)

  • how does this work??? is it soposto be an infinate motor or something??

  • @blizzard249 a sterling engine is basically a temperature difference engine. (in layman's terms) warm air is used to drive a piston one way down a cylinder, then back.. it will run and run.. but they only give very little energy output....

  • @frackcha hmm, very little energy? i know its against laws but it could be possible to make that little energy into big energy using a lot of these combined.

  • @blizzard249 im not sure how many you would need for usable output, there are some video's of bigger sterlings giving better output... considering how thermally efficient these engines are, there must be real world applications.

  • I have never seen a diaphragm activated displacer, do you think it is possible?

  • Dang! Quit stopping it and just let it run! :p

  • @randommagnum It show that it will restart from any position even if stopped. great way to show it is truly running on its own as well when taken off the base. Just saying

  • @randommagnum Agreed, get your effing hand off of the wheel! >:(

  • This is an awesome piece of technology! Love it!

I wish I had the know how to make one for myself. good work.

  • If it wasn't for people finding stuff like this interesting you wouldn't have the PC you use to post insulting and retarded comments which serve no purpose other than to agravate. Besides that's a rich comment comming from someone who's posted an idiotic vid on peanut butter jelly (and your spelling indicates a severe lack of education).

  • I saw your vids and the were a wast of time! This is a very interesting piece of technology!

Get off your ass and make something this good then talk.

  • I am in Love!......again....but this time with a contraption!.....BEAUTIFUL! & THANKS!

  • I want to take a sterling Engine to work and put it on one of our heating pads, see how fast I can get it to go...

  • That's an great engine.

What makes it self-starting? - Is it simply as a result of being a ringbom, or is there a specific design feature?

  • I believe it is the weight on the flywheel which makes it self-starting.

  • answer to pleabargain: its not amps that break apart water you have been taught wrong my 26 inventors have proved otherwise, answer is it has more than enough to break apart water

  • hi..im from sweden and love the work..can i find the prints...can i order from you..love to bild one..
