sadly in hollywood, when you play a role as memberable as steve urkel thats all your going to be for the rest of your life..Casting directors dont see jaleel white they see urkel and that hurt him bad as an actor..But hey look on the bright side hes well off financialy from all the royalties hes getting from re runs that play all day.. this sadly happen to alot of actors that get type casted like the olsen twins, no one wanted just one olsen it had to be both.. will smith though was lucky...

Does anybody know anything about whether or not Family Matters will EVER be released on season DVD's? There's a website called DVD COLLECTIONS that has the entire 9 seasons of Family Matters on 24 DVD's [215 uncut episodes] for $69.99. I would have already ordered this if I knew that the quality was good. Did anyone else order this? Is it good quality?

I love Family Matters and I think they should do a sequel to the show which shows Laura and Steve's wedding along with the rest of the family and laura and Steve's children. It could be the Sequel to Family Matters but it doesn't have to be based on them. It could show how much they changed from when they were younger. That would be really cool if that was to happen.

To niffy20, That is EXACTLY what I have alway's thought! Family Matters is my # 1 favorite show of all-time and I alway's thought it ended too soon. Why couldn't the final episode have showed Steve & Laura's wedding? They should have done a MOVIE for the final episode, like they did for Saved By The Bell! The sad part about a possible Family Matters reunion show is that Myra and Mother Winslow have passed away. God rest their souls.
