Yes Gary, "Go ahead" is definitely your biggest verbal tick; I was wondering if you were aware of it. I can't wait to see your next video; are you going to be self-conscious about this now? Will it be like watching public speaking students consciously trying not to say "um" or a valley girl trying to stop saying "he was like" and "she was like" and "I'm like"?
Wow! I really thought starting sentences with the word "Now" was my thing. That's part of the reason the show is called "MacMost Now." But it looks like I do "Go Ahead" even more. Funny thing is that a quick search shows that I only used the phrase twice in the book, which has more than 100,000 words in it.
By the way I used iMovie '09 to make this. It was super easy. Some tips for doing something like this quickly:
1. Have the audio skimming turned on. It makes it really easy to catch the start and end of words, just like selecting text.
2. Use the keyboard shortcut "E" to add clips to the end of the project, rather than dragging.
3. Use the slider at the bottom right of the source videos to spread the clips out to around 1s, while setting the project clips all the way over to All.
