@ninjaBlossem whenever i try to boot the laptop up, it shows up the menu where it says start windows normally, start in safe mode, etc. no matter which option i choose, it starts booting up, but the screen stays black, and the mouse is still there and i can move it. apparently other people with gateway laptops have had the same issue
