Lena -

Nice blend of the two Fahey "Poor Boys", which takes advantage of the common (open D) tuning. I don't normally play a slide, but this video has inspired me to give it a try. Thanks for the post!

@specialrider54 I combined the well known Poor Boy Long Ways From Home with the Poor Boy version played in lapsteel guitar style (Fahey played this on his The Transfiguration Of Blind Joe Death album). Proud that this is inspiration to you. Lena :)

I have a question, are you resting the bottom of your palm on the bridge? How much does that affect the tone of the guitar?

Thank you very much Baptist Picker! The affect is that my tone is clear. More warm if I went to the soundhole. My pinkie is always resting on the guitar body. So I have a lot of control when picking. Many fingerstyler do this. But there are a lot of wonderful guitar player who do it totally different (Son House, Rory Block for example)
