@arufuredoh nope, no frezing issues what so ever, the computer runs great, windows 7 runs very smooth and fast, the only issues I have is with the screen blinking now and again, some days it does it maybe once or twice, and some days it doesn't, not sure what causes it, and the other issue I have is with the webcam, sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't display any video it will just show a green screen with black lines, I've tried everything to try and fix it, but nothing works.
@xxGothicGirl69xx I had the same problem with the same laptop and it ended up by having a faulty hard disk. I haven't replace the hard disc yet co'z I'm still waiting for the hard disk to be delivered by tom.
@ilovehell03 wow, that's interesting, was it the screen blinking caused by that for sure? I've sent the laptop in to hp for repair twice already, and they haven't done anything to fix that issue for me, I still have it. I've had the computer reformatted twice, now I'm sending it in again where I was told they will run stress tests on it to try to reproduce the issue with the screen and try to fix it, if the issue is with the hard drive, I will mention that to them for sure.
@xxGothicGirl69xx yeah. I got it fixed already and had a discount with a friend here in Manila where I bought the hard disk. HP covered up the exhaust holes of the hard drive that's why my hard disk failed. if something is still wrong with your laptop, try talking to HP to replace the screen of your laptop. This laptop we both have now is good laptop and hope that yours would be fixed soon
well I live in Canada, and in the part of canada where I live, there are no best buy stores, I got this laptop from a store called the source, and at the time I got it, the store price was $1099.99 +tax, and I also checked the hp canada website at the same time, and the laptop was listed there for the same exact price.
Hi, the only issue that I have with the laptop is that the screen randomly blinks like a dark color for like a split second, almost like a brown color, kinda looks like the screen will go out, but it doesn't, it just does this randomly, it doesn't do it everyday, some days it doesn't do it, and some days it does maybe once or twice, I'm not sure what's causing it, or I'm not saying that you will have the same problem, that's just what happens to me, besides that, the laptop is great.

I do have the same problem with my HP G60-247CL Notebook PC and I was able to resolve it by restoring it to its factory setting(reformat in short). Hope this would help you with your problem
as far as games on this laptop, the only real game I play is the sims 3, and it plays pretty well, I have it all on medium settings, the laptop does run a bit hot with the game, and any 3D game, temps not too bad, around 50-60 degree range.
i have this laptop and love it. there is a key on my keyboard that came off, but i managed to rig it. I looked at it and the bracket holding it on is made of very thin, cheap plastic pins. Aside from that, i do not have the screen problem. I think she has a lose connection from over extending the screen. you can tell when it doesn't want to move and is sturdy on its own, but no laptop is safe from that happening, just don't ask it to go past where it wants to.
